We loved this place. It totally exceeded all expectations! We came on a rainy weekend so we didn't explore much outdoors, but the cabin is so cozy and the amenities are awesome, so we still felt like we had plenty to do. The hot tub and sauna both comfortably fit our entire group (6 people). Additionally, the sauna is in a beautiful spot, tucked into the woods next to the creek. We weren't sure what to expect from the location since the cabin was closer to the city and suburbs than some other options, but we found it to feel very secluded, rural, and peaceful. Would recommend to anyone!

We love staying at this peaceful and idyllic cabin. The property is very well maintained and true in character to its beautiful surroundings. We love the log fire, the hot tub and the beautiful garden full of wildlife. The area has plenty to do including great farmers markets, distillery with pizza truck and lots of walking and much more.

Very cute and convenient stay. We had everything we needed and more. We would recommend this place to anyone desiring to get away and enjoy the Catskills.

If you’re looking for a cozy weekend away in the Catskills, this is the place!! Everything about Pamela and Alan’s cabin was absolutely perfect: the cleanliness, the amenities, their friendliness, the vast space, and bonus: the grill and hot tub. My partner and I loved every minute of our time spent at the cabin and truly made some great memories staying up here. I cannot recommend this place enough and thank Pamela and Alan for being incredible hosts!

House sits right on the lake, beautiful property very private but close to town. The open floor plan is so comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need. The house was well organized and very clean. Communication with Anna was easy and very responsive. The hot tub was such a nice treat at the end of the day. Would highly recommend this home.

Was exactly the weekend getaway we needed. The tub was perfect for the cold nights, and we were just close enough to do a few hikes. The cabin was exceptionally clean and James was very attentive to anything that we needed. It is definitely in a neighborhood, and there are many families that live by but because of the greenery and the way that the house is laid out it feels very private. We would recommend this to friends and family! Thank you, James!

Rena was an amazing host we were running a bit late to check in due to car problems she was very caring and always responded quickly. Checking in and out was super easy. Her place is beautiful and peaceful. Even though it rained during our stay the place still looked amazing! The sounds of nature were soothing, and the views were breathtaking. At night the stars looked remarkable. My girlfriend and I will never forget The Roost. Thank you for having us rena. We really appreciated how understanding and responsive you were during our stay. I will recommend your place to my family and friends! 11/10 rating.

Words do not describe the location. Take a few days, relax, eat at the Landing Steakhouse. Water wheel or Milford Diner for breakfast. Stop by Fox N Hare Brewery/ Pub. Then after all that sit on the deck watch the local wildlife sip your beverage of choice and take in the serenity of the stream and waterfall.

Had a great time! Was perfect for a few days away with my husband and dogs. Everything was clean and as described (it's even better than the photos!) and the area was a lot of fun to explore. There are tons of hikes and other outdoorsy things nearby and Woodstock is a quick 20 minute drive, so the location gives you get the best of both worlds.

Loved the location, it was quiet and serene for a break from a loud, haphazard family gathering. I thought it was perfect, especially for an early morning stroll in nature. If you're looking for a simple, peaceful, get-away, this is it.

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at this cabin! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The cabin was clean, and perfectly cozy. The location was peaceful and private, surrounded by nature with stunning views. We enjoyed morning coffee on the porch, evening fires under the stars, and everything in between. The amenities were thoughtful and well-stocked, from kitchen essentials to extra blankets and board games. It’s clear the hosts put a lot of care into making the space welcoming. This stay was the perfect mix of comfort, charm, and relaxation. Whether you’re looking for a quiet retreat or an adventure-filled escape, this cabin is a gem. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We had such a lovely time! The property is beautiful, and our dogs really enjoyed the peace and quiet and getting to spend time out in nature. The place is well-furnished and comes with all the amenities you could need, including cooking utensils, tea and coffee, condiments, bug spray, wood for the fire pit, games, and bowls for the dogs. Jeff and Sharon were very responsive and provided lots of helpful information for our trip.

When I decided in February to take three weeks away from my home city to spend time in the mountains, I wasn't sure I'd come a place that ticked all the boxes: would let me bring my dog, was on top of hiking by not terrifically far from essential businesses, was within a 4-5 hour drive from home, had the comforts I knew I needed and-- would also let me bring my cat? What did I find? This total gem of a cabin. My animals and I were able to make ourselves comfortable, the views of the lush trees were instantly calming, the bed was super comfortable, and somehow even though it felt like the middle of no where, was a 30 min drive from so many beautiful villages, trailheads, and other Catskills goodness. Mark was super on top of communications, helped me out when I needed it, and made sure I had what we needed. Highly recommend a stay here-- can't beat the charm and being truly surrounded by stunning nature.

Yannick's place was a fantastic place to stay in the Catskills! It's located in an ideal location close to hiking, breweries, restaurants, etc. The house itself is clean and well decorated and they provide pretty much everything you need. My only gripe would be that there is no microwave (however, this is noted in the listing, so it was not a surprise); while I don't mind heating things up the old school way on a stove, there are certain things that just heat better in a microwave. And if a microwave is not provided, at least have some better nonstick pans (they were a bit of a pain bc everything stuck to them). In addition, it was hard to actually get to the stream (I think things were just overgrown and maybe it needs a trim back). But the beds are SO comfortable and overall the property is very serene, especially driving over the little bridge to the house with the stream. I would definitly recommend the place to anyone. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy cabin! It was the perfect home base for exploring the local climbing areas. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed after long days outside. We appreciated the quiet surroundings and thoughtful touches. Communication with the host was prompt and helpful. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting the area for climbing or other outdoor adventures. We'd definitely stay here again!

Home was very cozy and the Callicoon Hills is on a walking distance so we went every morning to get coffee. Overall great stay!

Even though we had some bad luck with the weather, we still had a wonderful stay. This is such a beautiful home tucked away in the middle of the woods. It's peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. I especially loved the large windows that brought the outdoors in, even when we were stuck inside. The bed in the primary bedroom was incredibly comfortable, which made for restful nights. We’d love to come back, hopefully with better weather next time! Some favorite spots nearby include: Upward Brewery - Great beer/cider and soft pretzel with massive outdoor space. Catskills Coffee Lodge - Loved the iced latte, brie + jam on english muffin and chocolate chip cookie. I could've sat on the rocks by the creek forever. Taylor & Ace - Nicely curated vintage store. Tavern on Main - Delicious mac and cheese and harvest salad Main Street Farm Market Cafe - I liked the iced strawberry matcha and pear cider donut. It was too cold/rainy to enjoy the deck out back.

Had such an amazing time. Place and location was beautiful. Andrew made my stayed a pleasant one. I'll definitely be back soon!

Derek is an incredible host and his home is absolutely lovely! In a prime area and super cozy for a winter weekend retreat. Derek was super responsive and provided exceptional directions for everything we needed. Would love to stay again and definitely recommend!

This is a lovely cabin, very cozy and nicely decorated. Beautiful surroundings and the view amazing. It was easy to check in and we were greeted with cookies and eggs from the farm up the road. Very nice! And we loved the little kids play nook! Communication with the host was great and she was very responsive. The two beds were comfortable but the futons were not. We had to have the kids sleep on the two futons due to the size of our group and thought it would be ok but I don't think those futons should be considered for sleeping. They were very hard and the surface was not even. Other than that, we had a lovely stay and would recommend this cabin.

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the wonderful experience I had while staying at Erin’s cabin. Erin is a friendly, responsive and proactive host. It was evident that she genuinely cares about the well-being and overall enjoyment of her guests. The cabin itself was delightfully rustic and nestled in a beautiful location. There was plenty of room to appreciate the peaceful surroundings and the pleasant sounds of Trout Creek running directly through the property. I am already looking forward to my next stay! A very nice, private, place - where allows you to relax without seeing/interacting with people. Paul is also very helpful and responsive - you can get almost any help from him quickly. The cottage is great with well interior design. It has everything we need to stay in it for a week. Highly recommend to everyone who is looking for a escape from daily chores and cities. We will definitely come back and stay longer in this lovely space.

The Blue Caboose is a great house—extremely comfortable and overall a wonderful place to relax. We got there on a Wednesday and did not leave the property at all during our three-day stay. There is space to walk around outside, with lots of trees, and a path down to the lake. It’s quiet and I found it an excellent and serene place. Great screened-in porch, too!
