Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and satellite TV (Astra). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Bedroom with double bed, bedroom with bunk bed, loft with double bed and a single bed. Private bathroom with shower and vc. Air heat pump! Self outdoor seating area with furniture and barbeque. Possibility to rent wood-fired sauna at an extra cost. The cottage is 40 sqm + the loft. Not so big but nice! Happy if the cottage is left tidy, clean and tidy! Welcome!

The apartment is very centrally located in separate farmhouse and consists of 1 room, kitchen and shower/wc spread over 43 sqm. In the bedroom there is a divisible double bed, closet, sofa group with TV. In the kitchen there is a sink, stove, fridge, coffee maker, as well as other equipment. A bed is in the kitchen. Lovely holiday home for those who like animals and nature! There is an opportunity to fish, swim, hike and bike. In the nearby area, there are several nature reserves as well as hiking and biking trails. You have access to a simple rowboat (life jackets can be borrowed) and your own swimming bay or you can borrow our jetty where you can dive or fish. Charming cabins by the lake.

Two small charming cottages right by the lake with swimming & fishing nearby. This place has a lovely front porch with evening sun & a fireplace/grill by the deck. There are 3 bikes & a canoe for guests to borrow. There is **no running water** in the cabin but we supply 30 litres of drinking water; there is rain water in a tap by the outhouse to wash hands. We supply bedding & towels.
