I had a great time in this apartment, I loved the size and the fact that they thought of everything that can be useful. The apartment was clean, the shower spacious and powerful hairdryer and suitable for those with long hair.

We stayed here for a night and it was a nice little spot to rest for the night. One thing to note is that there’s a staircase immediately upon entering the building. There is basically no space for luggage downstairs so you must carry it up which can be a bit difficult given the dimensions of the staircase and depending on the size of your suitcase. There was also a balcony that was not visible in the listing but it was a nice little spot to view the Swiss scenery.

Beautiful sunny stay in Castaneda and very beautiful discoveries of the last Swiss Regional Natural Park. Gabrielle is very friendly and considerate; she cares about details. She responds very quickly to our requests. We had the great pleasure of meeting him. The Rustico is well laid out and comfortable. The place is very quiet and the garden is very pleasant: each flower has its rightful place! This is a great base from which to discover Val Calenca.

Incredible! We cannot say enough good things about the place and the hosts. The space is luxurious with a stunning view of the lake, we spent many hours on the terrace in the sun enjoying the view. The private parking space was immensely valuable in such a busy area. Several cafes and restaurants are within walking distance, and the town is centrally located to explore nearby spots along the lake. Not as crowded as Como or Bellagio which we appreciated. We had plenty of space for our family of four and the host family was so sweet and generous, recommending nearby restaurants and attractions, and providing a pack-n-play (travel cot), high chair, and stroller for our youngest. The home is furnished and outfitted with everything you could possibly need, and it is decorated in a way that makes you feel truly at home.
