Relax in the tranquility of nature on the shores of the clear-watered Kuontijärvi, close to Ruka's services. The cottage (40 sqm/two rooms + loft) is well equipped. The atmosphere is created by an open fireplace in the living room. Several great activities right from the front door: in winter, the Kuontivaara ski loop passes by, and in summer, the mountain biking route (Kouvervaara loop). The nearest grocery store is about 10 minutes by car (Ruka). The cottage is part of a housing association, with one semi-detached cottage and one cottage consisting of three apartments in the same yard.

Cozy log cabin semi-detached house near the center of Ruka. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances (dishwasher, induction stove, oven, microwave) and comprehensive dishes. Downstairs in the cottage, the living room-kitchen is an open space and there is one bedroom with a double bed. Attic upstairs with separate sleeping areas at the ends. One with a sofa bed and the other with two separate beds. Wi-Fi connection, air heat pump, 11kw charger with type2 connector (electricity is charged separately). A short distance to the ski trail from the yard of the cottage!

Ruka Valley, which is right next door, has restaurants and a small grocery store. The Gondola elevator from Ruka Valley provides convenient access to the front slopes of Ruka Village, where you can find a larger grocery store and restaurants. In summer, of course, frisbee golf and MTB!

The cottage is near Rukatunturi about five kilometers in the direction of Kuusamo, so it's perfect for those who appreciate the tranquility but those in need of Ruka services. Rukan Ski-Bus runs from the proximity/side of the cottage during the ski season. Attention! Seasonal Christmas, New Year and Weeks 8-15 rental only Saturday-Saturday. Outside there are spacious views to the Porontima Lake, mountains and to the green nature. We have free WIFI. In summer time you can book a hot tub for a different price.
