Experience authentic farm life in a charming, authentic "hallingstuga" (farmhouse). Here, you can grind coffee beans in an old mill and brew coffee over a wood-fired stove if you like. A refrigerator, a freezer, and a new bathroom are the latest additions. Hallingstugu is located on a working farm with cows, sheep, and free-range chickens. In the outdoor area, there is plenty of space for skiing and sledding. Popular nearby attractions include Nesfjellet Alpine Resort, golf, Nystølkroken Café, Langedrag Nature Park, and an extensive network of cross-country skiing trails. Everything is within a few kilometers by car.

The cabin can be enjoyed year-round, with many activities and excursions in the area: mountain hiking, fishing, swimming, canoeing, biking, rafting, golf, disc golf, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing (from the cabin!), tobogganing, etc. Langedrag Nature Park and Bjørneparken (Bear Park) are also worth a visit. Good chance of seeing the Northern Lights in winter, as it is dark around the cabin. The cabin has a fireplace, a large south-facing terrace, a fire pit, a toboggan, a lounge loft, and board games. Here you live peacefully by Strandafjorden, with a short distance to Ål city center, hiking trails and ski trails. No electricity or running water – but everything you need for a real and atmospheric cottage experience. Perfect for couples, friends and families who want to relax and enjoy nature. In winter, a ski slope is made in and past the cabin – parking is then 1 km from the cabin.

Large terrace and fireplace. Wood-fired sauna in a separate annex. Great hiking opportunities all year round. High standard ski slopes. Several trout waters nearby.

Our favourite Pink Fjord Panorama cabin is a cozy, year-round retreat, perfect from snowy winter days to bright summer evenings - dogs welcome too. Enjoy pink sunrises, peace and quiet, and a scenic private sauna with breathtaking views. Located only 1.5 hours from Oslo Airport, the cabin overlooks the fjord and offers opportunities for golf, skiing, hiking, mountain biking, swimming, and spa experiences.

Cosy little cabin

The cabin is very small, but quite comfortable. (Around 10 kvm) The bathroom is separate. Rustic interior. Most suitable for couples and good friends. If you need more space, take a look at the other cabin on our farm, (Cottage anno 1711) Sauna can be rented. 300NOK / 30 Euro per use. If you arrive by train or bus, we can pick you up at the station. For this we will charge 150 NOK / 15 Euro per way.

Norway's best fishing river flows so close that you can practically fish from the porch. In summer you can see the trout jumping. In winter, the river is like a work of art of snow and ice.
