Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Rushcliffe District

Our stay at Sunshine Cottage was absolutely wonderful! The cottage itself is beautiful, and it's clear a lot of thought has gone into making it pretty, comfortable, and full of everything you need for a fantastic stay. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches. Wirksworth and surrounding areas are incredibly charming, offering plenty to explore and enjoy. As a hen party of 12, we had an amazing long weekend at Sally's house. There was safe and ample parking for all the whole group and we were blown away by the surroundings. The views were gorgeous and we had a lovely walk round the nearby fields and public footpaths to a great local pub. The house was spotless, and more stunning than the photos. The house felt like a home whilst also feeling luxurious and everyone loved their rooms and the communal areas. The house had so many thoughtful touches and we especially enjoyed the easy to use hot tub. Massive thank you to Sally for being a great host - responsive, helpful and allowing us early check in to decorate for the bride too. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay there again. This is a lovely cottage ideally placed to explore places of interest in the area. Jon always responded promptly to any queries, and the jar of homemade jam he left for us was a nice touch.

Jane's place was a great base for my visiting family / friends in Nottinghamshire. Jane couldn't have been more helpful in making my stay smooth and enjoyable. I'd highly recommend!

Really comfortable beds, lots of space and perfect home from home vibe! We stayed during Download festival and was bliss to be 40 mins away from the festival and come back to good beds and a lovely kitchen. Really easy to find, really clear instructions to access and make the most of the space, and communicative host

Absolutely amazing accommodation, I booked this for our family (10 of us) so we were all together for my sisters wedding nearby this was my first time using Airbnb and could not find a fault at all, check in was easy, the place is so spacious at no point did we feel too cramped the outdoor space is great the information pack left for us was great and came in handy for the day after wedding as we all felt a bit worse for wear Thank you

We rented the house as a base for a reunion of five, senior citizens. It looked fascinating from the pictures and so it turned out. There’s plenty of space and the house is well equipped for eating and drinking. We didn’t use many of the extensive collection of music and games but thoroughly enjoyed the pool and darts. Matisse was very prompt with her communications and wanted to make us feel at home, we even took in packages and chatted with the bin men!!! Local shops and a pair of pubs just a short walk away and an easy trip into town. All in all an excellent venue for our needs.

Great location in a pretty and peaceful village. Provided a much needed relaxing break. Enjoyed the nearby walk accessed through the church yard with the view of the countryside beyond. Clock Cottage is a well thought out property. Open plan, providing comfort and calm. All essentials plus added extras; the luxury of the rolled top bath & bath robes, a welcoming box of treats & drinks. Fairy Lights added a cosy glow above the bifold doors at night. There's also a great spacious bathroom with a fab shower. Can easily divert between the rainfall and hand shower heads, with plenty of hot water. Loved the beautiful garden and patio area. Private access from on street parking right outside through a separate gate with stones and level paving leading to the bifold doors. Established beautiful trees, shrubs and flowers edge the property and grounds with a lovely large lawn to enjoy in the sunshine. My dog did! Rutland Water is a short drive away. Will return to explore more.

I enjoyed my stay at Lola's. It was a nice, clean, wonderful stay. Lola was a great host. I will definitely return on my next visit to Leicester.

Steve and Lisa’s place is a total gem and like an oasis in the middle of the village. The instructions were spot on & everything was as described. In many respects it was underplayed as the property was way better than the description. The annexe could have slept more people as the lounge was massive, and to have a pub on site (closes 8pm) and another 200 yds away was just the icing on the cake.

We had a lovely stay! Very peaceful and we got the rest and relaxation we were looking for. The hot tub was also a nice addition :)

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Birdholme, so much so, that I began plotting to return as soon as we had arrived! The lodge is stunning and is set amongst beautiful grounds, which have even thoughtfully been pruned to encourage lots of little walkways through the trees and grounds which was such a special touch. The hot tub was great and Holly had even left us a surprise bottle of bubbles in the fridge! Really can’t fault it and we will definitely be back. Thanks so much Holly for a fabulous little break <3

We’ve had the most wonderful weekend here, such a beautiful location, the pods are gorgeous and everyone is so friendly. Sarah and her family were so hospitable and responded to everything really quickly and with lots of ideas about what to do in the local area. My boys loved feeding the chickens and alpacas and really loved their bunk beds! They didn’t want to leave and neither did we. Thank you - we will be back and would recommend it to friends in a heartbeat x

What a great find, we loved staying at Melissa's place. It was so clean, so stylish and classy. The fire pit, BBQ and log burner hot tub were all in use and that, coupled with a walk around their gorgeous land, watching the baby goslings march by in the morning was exactly what we wanted and more. We'd 100% go back, in fact we are already talking about it! Also Melissa and her mum Chrissie were lovely and very responsive - thanks for a great stay guys!
