I had an amazing stay at this place! The space was incredibly clean and well-maintained, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. The house was also very spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. The pictures just don’t do it justice. Swimming pool and Sauna was a nice touch for sure and definitely made use of it. John was responsive and helpful, making the entire experience seamless. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay

Lauren was a fabulous host, nothing was too much trouble. My request for a birthday cake for one of our party was met with "I can arrange that for you and would you like candles and balloon decorations too." I got the brownie points but Lauren did all the work. The accommodation was beautiful on arrival and it bought on some very happy birthday tears. Spotlessly clean and furnished to a high standard throughout, and it comes with a nice little private garden. The site is wonderful and has everything you could need, from a good breakfast to some lovely walks around fishing lakes. My girls had a wonderful long weekend at Laurens accommodation and,although not home yet, are already planning a return trip. Thanks again Lauren... 5*.

From 1st contact, Patricia was quick to reply & friendly. Her lodge was spotless and equipped with everything u cld want. Welcome pack of bread / milk etc such a lovely thought. Flowers and plants around the lodge are absolutely beautiful! The park itself is so peaceful. Would definately recommend

I didn’t stay there myself, I booked the place for my co-workers coming over from London , but they said the place was very nice!

Absolutely perfect from booking to checking out. Richard is an incredible host with everything you need. If you have kids, this is the place. Our 6 and 4 year old loved swimming multiple times, reading the kids library of books and playing with the many toys at the house. You can’t get any better than these hosts and this house.

Jean is a great host- very welcoming, clear instructions and interesting local recommendations. Waterside Retreat is in a smashing location, right on the small lake, close to the country club. The lodge is spacious, clean and well stocked with everything you might need for your holidays and more. We also used the gym- it was well equipped, had a delicious Sunday roast at the country club and walked the dog along the nature trail and to Tydd St Giles- surroundings are very peaceful and beautiful. Uber-eats delivered to our lodge, no problem. Also, it was an easy 1 hour drive to Cambridge to soak up some culture. Overall a great Easter break, in a fabulous lodge.

What can I say about The Firs? The word luxury doesn't do it justice, as soon as we walked through the door we were in ore of the building and it's surroundings. The amenities were fantastic, our personal favourites being the balcony with sun lounges, hot tub and pool table! The house is also decorated with a stylish, luxurious The decor. The kitchen is a stand out feature The owners were reliable, had brilliant communication and even gave us a recommendation to a beautiful restaurant called Quayside Hotel! They couldn't do enough. The on site groundsman was also super friendly and even borrows us his tandem bike! We will be back next year!

Perfect place to explore Uppingham and the surroundings such as the lakes, etc. Lovely selection of pubs and cafes on the doorstep and a great place to go for peace and quiet. Highly reccomended.

I stayed with my wife, daughter and son, we had a wonderful time, we walked everywhere locally. Collyweston is a great location, it is near to Rutland Water, Stamford, Burleigh Hall and a number of beautiful villages and attractions. The cottage is peaceful and quiet directly opposite the lovely local church. We couldn't have asked for a better location or a lovelier cottage. We will definitely return as we have much more to see.

Third stay, that speaks for itself. Perfect location, central but hidden away. I just love the apartment, feels homely, quirky, individual. Always very special/ memorable staying there.

Had a great few days at this beautifully decorated property. Very well laid out, clean and comfortable. Could not fault it at all. A few basic provisions were provided which was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. Karen was very quick to respond to our messages too. Just a 5 minute walk across the meadows takes you into the town for a good choice of eateries and bars. Made good use of the parking at the rear of the house too. The property sits on a road which is very close to the train station and track so you do hear the occasional engine go by but it certainly wouldn’t put us off booking this place again. Highly recommended!

Adie made us feel very welcome, and made sure we had everything we needed. He left us bread, milk,cereals,teabags,coffee and even a bottle of wine, etc. We were just a little surprised that we had to be out by 10am, we could have done with a little longer. It was great that the dogs came and visited as we were missing ours. Thank you Adie for a wonderful place to lay our heads and get ready for our granddaughters wedding.

Beautiful home looking out on to nothing but fields and greenery. Hannah was super helpful and responsive, making the stay relaxing and stress-free. Didn’t want to leave!

We had a lovely stay at Lambert cottage. The host was very responsive and provided clear instructions. The property is at a great location, it’s clean, cozy and well equipped. We had an amazing time and would recommend.

The accommodation was ideally situated being only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Having said that, it was lovely and quiet in the accommodation. The whole house was spotlessly clean and immaculately tidy when we arrived with fresh bed linen and multiple towels provided. There are all the facilities you could want - dishwasher, washing machine, electric cooker and hob, pans, crockery, cutlery etc. I can't recommend this accommodation highly enough - absolutely perfect for our stay.

Wir hatten 3 wundervolle Tage in diesem tollen Haus. Für uns war die Lage ideal, da wir Familie in Uppingham besucht haben. Es ist hervorragend ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich. Parken direkt vor der Haustür ist ein großes plus. Super schöne typisch englische Gegend. Einen kleinen Verbesserungsvorschlag haben wir: wir waren mit zwei Kleinkindern hier. Es wäre toll gewesen wenn es einen Hochstuhl für die Kleinsten gegeben hätte. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und haben dieses Airbnb bereits der ganzen Familie empfohlen.

What an amazing place to stay! My far-away friends and I spent the weekend here for our annual get together and we had the most wonderful time. The host was very attentive and accommodating to all our needs. The area itself is gorgeous, with tons of lovely restaurants and bars. We would recommend this place in a heartbeat and hope to return!

Can’t find anything to fault, the house was stunning and so spacious, perfect location as it was so close to the centre and very responsive and friendly hosts, would recommend!

I lovely place to stay, which we used as out base when walking the Rutland Round. Loved having Netflix and watched a couple of films/series in the evenings. Local supermarkets and services very convenient.

We had a lovely stay in Stamford. The house managed to stay relatively cool in extremely warm weather. We particularly enjoyed the dining area for games and dinners. Becci was very responsive and very kindly brought us a freezer as we hadn’t realised there wasn’t one. The beds were relatively comfortable and it was good that there were items like hand wash, loo rolls and washing up liquid etc provided especially for a weekend visit. It was a quiet area but convenient for walking into Stamford in around 20 minutes, but also convenient for the A1. Burleigh House was wonderful and we enjoyed a great visit there.
