Lovely place to stay with family. Only downside was strength if Wi-Fi! When you have a professional gamer in your party this can be annoying! Other than that the place was ideal for us visiting as a family, comfortable beds, with lovely walks for our little dogs too..thank you

What a fantastic place. Bath in the bedroom, Sauna in the bathroom, hot tub outside. Very private and secure. Staff were very good. Can’t wait to stay again.

Outstanding in every way. This cottage is worth more than 5* it simply cannot be beat. We have been to a lot of nice properties but Richard and Jo have made this property and their 16 acre land simply beautiful. Very nice people as well.

Great location as half family in the north and half in London. Took bikes and did cycle routes round Rutland water. Also did paddle boarding. Love it and hope to return to discover more in the area. House was awesome , lovely welcome pack of chocolate and Prosecco; staff on site super helpful. I did notice the week after we stayed was £ 200 more per night - which I suppose is school holiday/ high season. As we are retired, this would be quite expensive for us.

Fabulous stay at little Dunnels . Fiona was a great host and very responsive . Felt right at home as soon as we arrived . Place was so lovely and well thought out . Our granddaughter really appreciated the super sized cot , the best we’ve had . Lovely welcome basket , along with milk, butter and eggs were such a nice touch too . Great views to be had from every window . Well situated for Rutland water walks which we all enjoyed . Would deffinately recommend and would stay again for sure .

Well..... where do i begin, amazing, beautiful, fantastic, overlooking sheep and fields, but so close to Stamford for everything. Natasha was great with communicating, and we exchanged many messages with was a really nice thing. The house is over the moon, we felt like millionaires. Our 3 yr old grandaughter couldn't believe her eyes when she saw the toy room and her bedroom, very happy girly. If you would like a family get together, which ours was, then i highly reccomend staying here. Thankyou Natasha for making my birthday weekend something to really remember.

Alexandra was very friendly and helpful! She gave us local recommendations and was easy to communicate with. Check in was very simple and the house is very cosy. Great place to stay in!

We had a glorious stay at this cottage. It was freshly decorated and furnished to an excellent standard. The cottage had a beautiful garden and a large family kitchen- which was a lovely surprise when we walked through to it. Richard and Joanna were great hosts- leaving bread and milk, and responding immediately to messages. The area is truly lovely and the cottage was perfectly situated to explore Rutland, with Stamford and Oakham being close. We were lucky to experience the newly opened Twisted Trout pub, only one minute walk away. All in all, a lovely and relaxing stay.

Very comfortable apartment in a beautiful location. Emma is delightful and very helpful. Children will love her menagerie of farm animals, as did we, a group of adults! (The second bedroom is cosy and more suited to children). We visited for a local family wedding, so I can’t comment much on the local area other than to say that the nearby village of Braunston-in-Rutland is gorgeous, as is the surrounding countryside.

A fantastic place in a brilliant location, spotless when we arrived, very easy to access, milk, bread and treats were provided as well! Lucy was so easy to communicate with prior as well. If we’re ever heading to Uppingham again in future, we’ll be enquiring about this property again for sure! Thanks Lucy!

A beautiful country cottage ideal for our needs. A good location for visiting places. Fairly quiet as it was situated off the main road. Well equipped and very clean. Enclosed and secure garden for our two dogs with a very quiet lane for walks just down the road. We would definitely come again.

Steve was very quick to respond to my queries with helpful suggestions/instructions. The accommodation was very comfortable and stylishly decorated. It is walkable from the train station and all the restaurants, bars, cafes etc. We travelled on foot to all the local places of interest. The locals were friendly and helpful. We loved Stamford and will visit again.

Perfect house for our stay, had everything we needed. Nice cosy feeling to the place. Host was excellent with communication thoughout. Delightful location and extremely convenient having restaurants and shops close by to walk to. Excellent authentic Italian pizza place literally round the corner.

We were delighted with our stay at Emily’s place. The house was perfect with a lovely garden that was enjoyed by our dog as well as us! Perfect to have a a friendly pub next door and easy to walk through the pretty town of Uppingham. It was also easy to get to various starting points for walks around Rutland Water. We highly recommend this cottage.

This house is beautiful and perfect for our uni reunion. The kitchen is well stocked which we really appreciate and the garden is secure if you are bringing dogs. Love the “adult” living room - beautiful taste

Absolutely lovely. It's as though the owner has been to loads of Airbnbs and sorted all the annoying bits to make hers perfect. Washing detergent, dishwasher tablets, spare toilet roll, kitchen roll, everything that you would have to buy a big pack of to just use a tiny bit was already there. Dog towels, bowls and biscuits was super useful. Pub across the road was fantastic, we stayed 3 nights and ate there twice! Tiny little farm shop close ish by, really delicious BBQ food. Garden was fully enclosed even for an adventurous terrier and gets the sun all day. Only saw one set of neighbours and they always gave us a smile. We missed the market in Bourne, they close shortly after lunch rather than 3pm. The market in Stamford was on all day with loads of stalls, very pretty, highly recommend a wander. Could have stayed a few more days, will definitely come back again.

We love Easton on The Hill. We will definitely be making a return visit. The hosts were perfect.
