Our cottage

We have a Recently refurbished 2x bedroom flat which was part of our home, it has it's own entrance with parking space on private drive . The flat also has a kitchen , bathroom , separate shower and lounge . Our house is situated in a quiet location and a 5min drive to our local town which is Ryde. We are on a bus route to many other destinations around the island. Approximately 15mins drive from Fishbourne car ferry , 30mins from east cowes car ferry and 60mins from Yarmouth car ferry.

Relax and enjoy your stay at this unique and tranquil getaway. 'Adventure Prospect' has recently been completely renovated and is steeped in military history. Formerly known as the "shifting house" it was first built in 1898-1899 to accommodate munitions workers changing into the special clothing that they wore when working on magazines. Rosie & I let this stone built converted cart shed which is 200 years old. Paddock Cottage stands at the edge of our garden with open land behind. The accommodation is open plan 'studio style', with shower room. It is quiet and secluded and has a cosy wood burning stove. Off road easy parking and access. Well behaved dogs welcome, easy access to walkies.
