  • The apartment is really spacious, warm, bright and comfortable. The balcony has a great view to the sea. Joanne was really lovely, welcoming and flexible. She even arranged a Christmas tree for us, since we were staying over the holidays, which was a nice surprise. Altogether a great experience.

  • Cosy, clean, comfortable, central location, great value, nice little welcome touches. Joanne is very lovely. I’d definitely stay here again.

  • A beautiful, big, roomy apartment with lovely views over the ocean. Only 3 minutes walk to the beach. Good quick wifi. Very comfortable bed. Full size kitchen with stove, microwave, dishwasher and a washing machine. The electric heating in the lounge was a little inadequate. Overall a lovely place to stay.

  • Super apartment, really clean, brilliant spot to chill out.

    Joy2019-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • The most favourite airbnb I've ever stayed in. A really cosy lovely home. With spectacular views of the ocean. A morning coffee on the balcony with the ocean really started the day great. Really comfortable beds also. Joanne was very welcoming and only a message if you need any assistance. And get a burger from the takeaway across the road. I reccomend this place in a heartbeat. Ill definitely be returning. The underground car parking is an added bonus. Thanks Joanne.

Beautiful tree house with amazing views as seen on RTÉ's "The Big DIY Challenge". Enjoy a hilltop sunset over southern Ireland or watch a rainstorm pass over the fields from an elevated cozy site. Light a romantic fire in the wood stove and enjoy a glass of wine whilst taking in the views from multiple oversized windows. Stargaze from the loft bed through a large skylight. Enjoy grabbing an apple from the deck set within the apple trees which connects the tree house to the matching bathroom pod.
The tree house is cleverly designed, it incorporates function and style seamlessly. It wasn't just built for functionality it was carefully thought out from it's white washed wooden walls which give it a clean crisp feel to the gloss kitchen cabinets that add modern touch. You can open it up with the large hatch window that turns the kitchen counter into a inside/outside bar or close up the double glazed windows and light the fire which provides a beautiful ambiance and quickly heats the tree house. It's fully insulated and has modern electrics, the sockets all have USB plugs built in. There is also a electric heater if you don't want to light the wood stove and a Bluetooth speaker which easily connects to all phones so you can play a bit of your favorite music. Kitchen has mini fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave and coffee machine all accessible but hidden out of sight. Breakfast is Continental style and all stocked in the tree house before your arrival for you to enjoy at your leisure. The bathroom even though it's two meters off the ground has a fully tiled floor, normal toilet, sink and large two person shower with rainfall shower head. Two huge windows in the shower make you feel like your in the wilderness but because of the bathroom pods height and location it's completely private. Bathrobes are provided for your comfort but we suggest you bring your own footwear. The shower water is heated with an on-demand gas water heater which is almost silent so all you hear is the water. Fire wood or eazy light fire logs are supplied. Must be able to climb ladders and no children allowed.
Located in a rural setting but only mins from N11 and the new M11 Enniscorthy bypass. About 1 hour from Dublin and 10 minutes from Gorey Town which has many restaurants, pubs and coffee shops.
  • Such a gorgeous setting. Doesn’t matter if it’s raining or sunny, this place impresses regardless. Great if you’re looking to get off your phone for a few days and relax

    Aoife2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect for anyone looking to switch off and enjoy resting inside the hideout. Close enough to enjoy plenty of walks along some of Wexford’s amazing beaches. Even with Covid-19 it was the perfect way to self isolate. Definitely recommend 😀

    Clare2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Cosy and warm beautiful views including many wild birds. The greatest shower you will ever take and one of the best spaces you will ever stay. Matt and Ruth went over the top to make sure we were ok they even had a personalised card written for us. (which we kept by the way) 100% reccomend staying at "the hideout" Thanks Matt and Ruth

    Magdalena2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Our 2 night stay at the treehouse was amazing. It’s called the hideout for a good reason; you have the run of the place and feel totally removed from day to day life. Matt and Ruth have it kitted out with everything you could possibly need. You’re left to just sit back, enjoy the amazing nature views and the cozy interior. I had to drag my partner out of the place!! We’d happily go back.

    Alan2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Myself and my boyfriend spent our one year anniversary in the hideaway and it was absolutely fantastic! What a wonderful space Matthew and Ruth have here, it is everything you want for a relaxing weekend away. It is an experience we will never forget and hope to come back soon! Thank you Matthew and Ruth for being such attentive friendly hosts!

    Ailish2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay at The Hideout. The directions were spot on getting there and Matthew and Ruth were very welcoming upon arrival. The Hideout is just a slice of heaven. No other way to describe it. Everything we needed for our stay and more. All the little touches were just amazing. When we needed more firewood all I had to do was text and they had it to us problem. Thank you again for such a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back!

    Sarah2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had the most amazing time at the Hideout. Ruth and Matt have thought of everything. The little touches, snacks, diffuser etc! If you are looking for a chilled getaway with no distractions this is the perfect place. The view is also sensational! I can’t recommend this stay enough. We couldn’t fault anything.

    Aoife2020-03-01T00:00:00Z

Situated on a quiet country lane about 1 mile outside the town of Gorey in Co. Wexford, Highlands Cottage is a lovely little house set in mature gardens, with flowering bushes, trees, plants and lots of peace and quiet. There is no traffic noise, just the sounds of nature. In good weather, the garden is a suntrap, and extremely private. Everyone is welcome, but please note that there is no smoking on the premises.
The bedrooms are bright and cheerful, and a good nights sleep is almost guaranteed, as long as you can deal with the complete absence of noise. You are likely to be woken in the morning by birdsong. The suite consists of two small double bedded rooms and a bathroom with shower. All three rooms are on their own corridor. Once you head down there and close the door, you are in your own quiet, private space. Our suite is ideal for 2 couples to stay, as it is nice and private, and each couple has their own bedroom. When it's time for breakfast, make your way to the kitchen. There you will find juice, cereal, fruit and yogurt. You can also help yourself to tea & coffee, various breads, toast and preserves.
The house is set in a very quiet road about 1 mile outside of Gorey town. It would take about 5 minutes to drive into the center.
  • Excellent stay and a beautiful spread for breakfast! Thank you!

  • My experience was lovely. Lorrais a great hostess. The location is easy to go to town and quiet place to relax. We had a tasty breakfast. Lorraine left everything ready for us ♥️ . We highly recommend her

    Fabiane2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Had a wonderful stay on a place with one of the kindest persons i have ever stayed with!. Location is beautiful, view is great and the room was very comfortable as well. It is difficult to walk from/to Gorey at night, so a taxi is most likely nescessary but with that comes complete silence and no noises from the city which in my oppinion is definately worth it.

    Mick2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Lorraines has a lovely cozy homely feel to her home. As it's out in the country and yet not far from Gorey , you are ensured a quiet restful sleep which I had. It was lovely to listen to the birds song from the garden in the morning. Lorraine has made her home very welcome and her spirit of hospitality is strong. Lorraine has an excellent and inquiring intellect. I thoroughly enjoyed and was engaged in a very interesting conversation with Lorraine.

    Sinead2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Very lovely place, I had a really great time and I might be back later on!

The Creamery is a recently renovated charming two storey stone cottage located just under 10 minutes from Gorey town, renowned for its great shopping and Restaurants. A great base to explore our beautiful hills and beaches which are close by.
The creamery has been recently restored and includes integrated modern conveniences. The interior is ambient and full of natural light. It is heated with air to water heating system (which provides constant hot water) and a solid fuel stove in the living area. There is a bathroom with shower upstairs, and a bathroom with bath downstairs. A brand new modern kitchen with dishwasher has been installed. A large bedroom upstairs with king bed ,and a second smaller bedroom upstairs with double bed. The Creamery is located on its own site with its own private entrance .
  • Fabulous place to stay. The creamery is comfortable and has so many fantastic touches that make you feel right at home. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, house and the heated floors were heavenly warm at all times. We’ll 100% be back again for another trip out of the city. Exactly what we needed and this place delivered above our expectations.

    Lindsay2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Fiona was an incredible host, with a beautiful home. The Creamery is just stunning, warm and cosy. Fiona thought of everything and we couldn’t have asked for more. She was so thoughtful regarding us being vegan, and made sure there were some lovely treats for our arrival! Can’t recommend enough, our only downside was having to leave!

    Aoife2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • My Mom, sister and I have just returned from a fabulous weekend at The Creamery. From the moment we booked, Fiona's warmth and hospitality was apparent and this continued throughout our stay. The house is stunning, with so many special features. Fiona has thought of absolutely everything - from homemade brown bread to toiletries, sweets, games - the list is endless! We'll definitely be back!

    Aisling2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Fiona and Claire's place is so relaxing to be at. Lots of lovely little touches like bathroom treats and fresh bits on the fridge for breakfast. Lovely space to be in and had a great night sitting under the stars just feeling away from it all. Will come back for longer next time not just to enjoy the area but to enjoy their lovely hospitality and warm welcome.

    Ben2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous house, very comfortable and warm. Had everything we needed.

    Aine2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • A stay at the Creamery is a must! The place is absolutely stunning and has everything you could possibly need. All of the little touches around the house really make it special. The two hosts, Fiona and Claire, were fantastic and very accommodating. We absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

    Kaya2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • The best AirBnb experience we have ever had! I knew by the photos this place would be gorgeous but if possible it is even better than we expected! Fiona was so lovely to deal with and the her attention to detail was second to none. We really appreciated the little touches like fresh baked bread and cakes and eggs and bacon in the fridge! It’s a home from home and we can’t wait to go back again, I’m already looking at dates!

    Keelin2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • My girlfriend and I had the best time at The Creamery! It’s a beautiful, cosy home that was perfect for a winter weekend away for two (although it would have had more than enough space for 4!). Everything was stylishly decorated, clean and well equipped. We loved putting the fire on after a long day’s walking, and relaxing in the living room each evening. The kitchen has everything you might need, and the underfloor heating and smart TV were a luxurious touch. Fiona was a great host - we arrived to find fresh baked bread and cakes, plus eggs milk and bacon in the fridge for our stay, shampoos and body wash in the bathrooms, and even a couple of Christmas crackers! And she was super helpful and immediately on hand when we had questions or needed anything. The main bedroom where we slept was really comfortable too. Would recommend hiring a car for getting around - Wicklow Mountains National Park is an easy hour’s drive and was stunning. All in all a brilliant stay - thank you Fiona!

Our three bed bungalow is spacious and airy. There are two double bedrooms and a single bedroom with twin beds available. You can enjoy use of a huge garden to accommodate bbq's and garden meals. It is ideal if you're attending a wedding at Seafield or Marfield House.
We are very close to the beach and the famous Wicklow mountains so our accommodation is ideal for those seeking to experience rural Ireland. We're also only an hour's drive to Dublin so you have the potential to stroll the streets of Dublin and retire to a cosy and comfy home. We are dog friendly and have space for cars.
It's near the beach. It's quiet and very safe.
  • Taras place is spacious and in a great location. Check in was so easy. Dorothy, Taras housekeeper, is a pure gem! Great stay!

    Jessy2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • the location is excellent for access to Courtown and to the broader surrounding area. The neighbourhood is quiet and very relaxing with lots of green space about. The house itself is bright, spacious, clean and warm (it was winter). Tara communicated well and speedily and Dorothy was most helpful. We hope to stay there again for sure. Recommended.

    Colm2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely clean and warm homely 3 bedroom house with everything you would expect and need. Very well located very close to a nice little town a good supermarket a chemist just around the corner and a decent pub in the village within walking distance. Also very close to Gorey which is a great shopping town and Courtown with lovely walks and beaches. The seal sanctuary in Courtown is a great visit especially for the kids and every now and then they release them into the sea which is a great spectacle. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a nice quite location close to everything you need for a nice short or long break.

    David2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Tara’s house was really lovely. It was ready earlier than expected so was able to go in a few hours ahead of plan. Dorothy is lovely. She came around to put the heating on - the clock change had knocked off the timers - and also lit the fire for me! Dorothy also took some firelighters and kitchen towels out of her shopping for us! The sofa is insanely comfortable - can’t imagine how many people have sat down for ‘a few minutes’ and drifted off to sleep in front of the roaring fire! The kitchen has all you’ll need - including a separate freezer in the utility room. Nice big driveway, and Tara’s directions are perfect. Quiet cul-de-sac location. Location is great for Gorey, about a ten minute drive away - where there’s a large Tesco, an Aldi, Lidl, SuperValu and Dunnes Stores. The house is around 1km away from Courtown Harbour, and it’s a nice 15 minute walk down there. Just before you get to Gorey you’ll reach the M11 which takes you up to Dublin in about 90 minutes. They’ve recently completed the rest of the bypass that takes you down to Oilgate, between Enniscorthy and Wexford. Would definitely recommend visiting Wexford Town and the surrounding area (Kilmore Quay is a must for the fish and chips alone!) Overall, Tara’s house is perfectly located and a really lovely, comfortable home from home. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again - maybe a summer trip this time!

  • Lovely home with large orchard garden! Just 10 mins to beach and woods if you take a short cut through the church. Dorothy was great and helpful and Tara kind when my daughter was ill. I would happily return, my dog loved it and the house is large and has everything you need. Highly recommend.

  • We were absolutely blown away with this place - what an astonishingly beautiful little house! We were greeted with an incredibly warm welcome and bit of history on the property, which was lovely! The hard work that has gone into building up the property to what it is now is very apparent. We ended up spending way more time than intended at the Airbnb just because it was so lovely. Absolutely breathtaking all around! Could not recommend this place any more highly!!

    Mia2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • I can't recommend the accommodation and area more highly. A peek into the stunning countryside just south of Dublin. I would be back in a heartbeat. This property is on a stunning piece of land which includes stock, dogs, geese and one highly inquisitive peacock! The owners bend backwards to see to my needs and the house was beautifully warm with everything I needed to attend my conference. I hope to go back to make use of the indoor and outdoor fireplaces and walk along the creek and have a chance to just sit and enjoy the stunning view of the landscape and sea. It was lambing season too!

The bedroom and ensuite was very nicely decorated, spacious and sparkling clean. With Gorey less than a 10 minute drive away it is in an ideal location and I would highly recommend :)

  • The accommodation of Rosemary and her husband is absolutely perfect. The room is large and offers great views of the garden. It is very quiet and you can absolutely enjoy the time there. Both are extremely nice and take care of everything very lovingly :) I can recommend the property to one hundred percent.

  • Rosemary & Ronnie have the most beautiful home surrounded by the amazing gardens. My en suite room and was spotless, quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast provided was a welcome touch. They are relatively new to airbnb so give them a try - you won't be disappointed!

Architect designed beach bungalow, nestled in cove at Cahore pier, Wexford. Light filled, open plan space with direct access to the sea. Only 80 mins from Dublin - the perfect destination for those seeking a holiday or retreat.
The most obvious unique quality to Cois Cuan is it's proximity to the sea. It is also flooded with light all day. In summer month's it's ideal for outdoor / indoor living. With a hot outdoor shower it is a treat for swimmers. It has a small but secluded garden to relax and entertain in for the summer and an open fire for cooler days.
Cahore is a unique location. With the sea, pier, the Strand bar on the hill, stunning cliff walks and 20 miles of sandy beaches at the other side of the cliff walk, this place is like something from an Enid Blyton novel. It's ideal for families (crab fishing and jumping off the nearby pier is a holiday tradition for kids every summer). It's romantic for couples and a restful retreat for those who just want to get away from it all.
  • This is truly an amazing place to escape from the rat race. The sound of the sea just makes you want to sit down, listen and just watch the sea or read a book and relax. The bar/restaurant at the end of the beach is just amazing although check opening times during the winter months. For walkers this place is just in the right place - you go out the back gate, walk along the beach and up the cliff path past the restaurant and you arrive at a 20K beach - just amazing. This was out second time staying in the winter months and we will definitely be back again.

  • They say location is everything and that's definitely true about Ruth's house. Very rare to get a house right on the beach with the sound of the waves crashing lulling you to sleep. Beds are really comfortable and the pub on your doorstep is great. They didn't have a full menu on at this time of year but we had a lovely lunch there. Thanks again Ruth

    Alison2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • We went for a quite place to study. It was lovely and Ruth was always there for us if we had questions. If we have the chance we would stay there again.

    Thanh Nam2020-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • Looking for a quiet, well-appointed and totally comfortable space? This is it! I highly recommend Ruth's cottage for a short or extended stay. All the expected amenities and thoughtful extras made my stay really great. The location is ideal to relax and enjoy the seaside. The full kitchen and basic provisions on hand make cooking easy (be sure to read the check in instructions on lighting the stove burners and turning on the oven!) The one time I asked a question, Ruth responded within minutes. Everything about my extended weekend was excellent! Thank you Ruth - highly recommended!!

    Craig2019-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • What a place!! Lovely cosy house with everything you could need, great location on a small beach and within walking distance of a bigger beach, fabulous views and to wake up to the sound of the sea was so relaxing, cosy and fun local pub within walking distance and great host in Ruth who was so easy to communicate with. Really enjoyed our stay and will for sure be back again!! Thanks Ruth 😊

  • This property is in a really beautiful location, it’s a quaint spot with lots of character. The accommodation was perfect. Ruth was very accommodating and was quick to answer any questions. The weather was great which added to our trip and there are plenty of really nice beaches nearby so our dog had a great time also. Hope to go again to Cahore soon. Mary G

  • We spent 3 wonderful nights in this property. Its location by the sea is unique.

    Michael2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Had a wonderful stay at this house. It leads out to the beach which is lovely for a morning swim. The garden is totally enclosed so the dogs are safe. On a clear night the view of the stars and moon is incredible. Loads of beautiful walks close by. Ruth was lovely and very helpful if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

This home is very cosy and tastefully decorated with a very homely feeling to it in s quite cul de sac beside the greens and only a 7 minute walk to the beach and harbour and only a short drive from the town of Gorey . I live in the house too and I also have 2 house mates that live here . They are both very down to earth and nice and friendly and it's a very relaxed home .
This house is very comfortable with everything you need , wifi , smart tv , home from home
It is very quite and friendly with plenty of places to go for walks such as the forest and the beach
  • Andy was a great host, really accommodating. Bedroom is small (which Andy is very upfront about) but has everything you need. Great price too!

Get away from it all in peaceful & picturesque North Wexford. Badgers Cottage is situated down a rural country lane amidst fields, trees and local wildlife - the perfect spot for relaxing, reading, writing, creating or just putting your feet up. Nature surrounds and inspires. 10 miles from the sea, there are beaches & a beautiful forest walk near the town of Courtown. Essentials can be bought in well equipped Gorey (15mins) with its restaurants, supermarkets & boutiques. Everyone is welcome.
The cottage is private and fully equipped for a rural get away. We are off the beaten track but also only a 15 minute drive from Gorey so we're close to all its amenities and there you can access the new motorway therefore we're within easy access of Glendalough, Avoca and the Wicklow Way all 1 hour 15 minutes away. There are also festivals in nearby Kilkenny (1.5hrs), Wexford (45mins), Waterford (1.5hrs) and we're even close enough for Dublin day trips (1.5hrs). Coming in from the private entrance you'll find a well laid out, fully equipped kitchen and living room area with two comfy sofas. It has its own cozy pot bellied stove and a library of books and DVDs. There's a TV with several channels, a clock-radio and a DVD player. In the bed room there is a very comfortable queen sized bed, wardrobe and drawers with extra blankets and pillows should you need them. Wifi is free through out and there are independent heating controls for your comfort. The kitchen will be stocked with a few goodies for your arrival and essentials in the cupboards. (If you have any food allergies let us know). There is a wahsing machine and you are welcome to hang up clothes on the washing line. An air-dryer is available too. The bathroom has an electric shower. There is oil fired central heating and an immersion heater for hot water. Guests are free to enjoy the garden, a table and chairs are set up outside so you can eat al fresco and also admire the morning and lunchtime views. This furniture can easily be moved to the front of the house where you can enjoy the stunning sunsets, which can be viewed from the beer-seat too. Back inside the cottage and up the spiral staircase there is a music listening area with a large selection of LPs and a record player. Though we are happy to have childen stay at the cottage because of the spiral staircase we would suggest it is not a suitable space for toddlers. We have welcomed babies before as they are not yet up and moving and children of the age 7 and above. The lane is a rural lane therefore it's uneven so take things easy as you drive down it.
It is a quiet farming community, with a local school, church and village hall a few miles away. Gorey town which is the largest nearby has five supermarkets: The largest is Tesco Extra (Ramstown, Gorey), then there is SuperValu (Main St, Gorey), Lidl (Arklow Road, Gorey), Aldi (Goreybridge, Gorey) and Iceland (Gorey Retail Park, Courtown Road) There is a small theatre (Gorey Little Theatre, Pearce St) showing Irish plays, a cinema and several Indian, Chinese, Italian restaurants and local bars. There is an Irish music session in Frenchs Bar (Main Street, Gorey) every Thursday night. Restaurants we recommend include: The Duck Terrace Restaurant & cafe bar Katie Daly's Bar & Restaurant The Kitchen Eco Pizzeria & Restaurant There are other restaurants but we've not been to them yet.
  • The cottage is so big and spacious. The host was always on hand to answer any questions. We had a lovely two days relaxing in front of the fire. It had great facilities for cooking. Would definitely go back again soon

The host provided an amazing space at an incredible value, and found that perfect balance of being warm and friendly and providing space for her guests. If you don’t stay here, you do a disservice to yourself. I’m definitely coming back.

  • We had such a great time with Yvonne! We were in Gorey for a wedding but were happy to stay the 10 minute drive outside of the town centre in a very picturesque part of the county. The views from the house were incredible and the house itself was so nice. It had everything we could have wanted and was very welcoming. Yvonne was so lovely and even drove us to the wedding in town. She could not have been more accommodating. And her dog Heidi was definitely a highlight of the trip for us! We cant wait to go back 😁

We would love to welcome you to our family home, your triple room has it's own private ensuite toilet and shower room.
Guests are very welcome to join us in our TV room, Sun room or kilchen for a chat and a cuppa. On arrival we like to chat with our guests and provide tea/coffee and if possible home baking. If weather permits guests are also welcome to use our peaceful and tranquil garden.
Located near the pretty village of Kilanerin we have several woodland walks nearby. The lovely town of Gorey is just 5km, Arklow town 11km, and a choice of beaches from 6km. Two of the local woodland walks are accessible on foot from our home, one leads to The Wexford Lavender farm and Restaurant/coffee shop, the other via the delightful little village of Kilanerin which has an all in one shop, post office and pub. We have also collected info and maps about lots of the hikes and walks in Wexford and Wicklow including The Wicklow way, Glendalough, Tiahely, Lugnaquilla, Gorey, Courtown, Tara Hill, Avoca, Ballycumber loop walk , Kyke loop walk, Mangans loop walk, Askamore Looped walks, plus the new Wexford walking trails booklet. There are also lots of beaches nearby to enjoy two very nice ones are only 10 to 15 minutes drive from our home and another few less than a 20 minute drive. We love the peace and quiet where we live and listening to the birds sing in the morning. At night because we have a low level of light pollution we can see the stars very well on cloudless nights.
  • Both Pauline and Gerry are so friendly and welcoming. Their home is a lovely relaxing environment in a beautiful country setting only a few minutes drive from Gorey. We had a very enjoyable stay. Gerry was so kind and dropped us into Gorey. Beds were so comfy. Shower was lovely and warm and good pressure. And to top it off Pauline left us a lovely little breakfast when we got up. Would definitely recommend Pauline and Gerry

  • Pauline and family personified the Irish hospitality we've heard so much about. Welcomed us with a cuppa and a chat in the kitchen, opened up their home to us, and recommended great places to go. Enjoyed part of a lovely woodland walk, sorry we didn't have time for the whole thing. But we Loved the nearby Seal Rescue Ireland, beach by the centre, and best fish and chips at King Cod. Pauline is a delightful hostess.

Kyleahaw is a 4 bedroom dormer bungalow in the beautiful location of Roney Point Wexford. Our house is in a small private gated estate with access to it's own sheltered beach. We also have a playground, tennis courts and a beautiful park. Just 1hour 20mins from Dublin and 40 minutes from Wexford town the location is perfect for those traveling around Ireland or looking for a longer term holiday with the kids. Courtown is approx 10mins drive and Gorey town is just 15mins from the house.
The house is very large with an open plan layout downstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary mod cons, we have a large deck for dining on in the back garden. The garden is fully enclosed and we have a large porch to the front of the house, great for having breakfast on!
This is a gated estate with access to our own beach, playground and tennis courts. Perfect for families.
  • We really enjoyed staying in Sarah's it was unfortunate we just didn't have longer and that the nice weather left us. Hopefully we will get to stay again in the summer months.

    Yvonne2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • This house is amazing. We loved everything about this house and location. The facilities are excellent and the private beach and playground are just wonderful. Sarah was great to deal with, so quick in responding and very accommodating. Her information was very accurate and she had left us a very useful manual with local information at the house. I would highly recommend this listing and we hope to go back next year.

    Lorraine2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • This Home is in an incredible location with awesome sea views from the upstairs bedroom balcony and only a stones throw from the boardwalk down to the amazing cove and beach. Sunrises are super, the area is very private yet accessible but you need to plan your food and drink when returning from day trips as the nearest supermarket is about 3-4km away, not an issue at all. We ate in a lot as the kitchen was well equipped indeed so you need nothing. Our first night the weather turned a little and was quite cold on arrival in the house however within a few minutes Sarah called back after I messaged and advised how to turn on the heating as it’s on a timer so it was nice to know Sarah was at the other end of the phone. The heating was instant and very good indeed and actually we turned off after a few minutes. After that the set timing was perfect so didn’t need to adjust at all, would be very good in winter I would imagine. Our kids loved the toys and books especially the Garden toys and actually splashed around on the pool in the rain, the garden is secure and safe and two large areas perfect to let the children roam free. Also there is a barbecue and we made use of this one evening as we did sitting out on the deck area. With short drives to courtown, Gorey, etc it is a super base to visit the wonderful areas around Wexford. You can see the home is actually a home and feels lived in which adds to the atmosphere. We asked questions prior to visiting but asking was unnecessary as Sarah contacts you with info prior and leaves a good info booklet in the home on arrival. The old adage, Location, Location, Location certainly applies here and is what should drive you to considering here. The plants around Roney point give you a feel of Southern Europe. The other main point that will last in my mind forever is that our children Absolutely loved living here for the 3 nights and were devastated leaving. This is most definitely great for a family stay. Note the playground just a minutes stroll away. We have some awesome photos of the stay for our memories. We loved being here, especially the kids, therefore, we would certainly return if Sarah would have us back.

    Gary2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Spacious and immaculate house in an unbeatable location. 10 minutes walk from two beaches. Secure but quiet setting with friendly neighbours. The kids had hours of amusement with the swing, tents and football nets in the garden and playground when the sun was too hot or while we cooked on the BBQ. Very comfortable for every age group.

  • Sarah is a great host. Her place is just perfect for families. Everthing you need is thought of even things you forgot you need she has you covered. ! The gated community is private and neighbours very helpful and friendly. The private beach is just wonderful with a park, playground and tennis courts all minutes walk from the house. 15 min drive from courtown the locations is fab. My family had a great trip I would highly recommend staying here.

  • Sarah’s house was fantastic and I’d highly recommend. I went with two friends and their three children all under 5 years. The house was spotless and really spacious so the kids had plenty of space to play. The garden is fantastic, wraps around the whole house and very secure. The kids spent most of their time playing in the garden so we got to relax. Sarah a lots of toys in the house and two high chairs. The community is gated so we felt really relaxed with the kids. The community is really quite and has a tropical fields to it, we were so surprise, even better than the photos. There is a playground and tennis courts within the community and the walkway to the beach you can see from the upstairs bedroom. Also Roney Point beach is 5 minutes walk. Super close to Courtown and Gorey. We will definitely be back. Sarah was a great host.

  • We had a fabulous stay in this house. It is a lovely sspacious house and sooo child friendly with books and toys provided to entertain them. The location is a brilliant base to explore all wexford has to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kids are already asking when we can go back. We will definitely return.

    Luci2019-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in this beautiful home for a week. Very spacious but has cosy touches that we felt at home. Nearby beach perfect size and very quiet for our 3 year old and baby to enjoy. Huge bedroom and bathroom downstairs suitable for my elderly parents. Kids were delighted with the toys and books supplied. We also used the kiddie tents when the sun was out. Courtown has the amusements and fun fair loads of things to do. We also visited a small pet farm which was ideal for the 3 year old. Sarah is a perfect host keeping in touch before and during our stay. Would highly recommend this home.

The immediate neighbourhood is quiet and surrounded by farmlands. The roads are quiet and walking is a pleasure. We have prepared a guest book for the suite which details all the local places to eat and visit to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible. While tranquil and peaceful the amenities of Ferns are only a three minute drive away. Take away, pubs, restaurants, shops and a 24 hour garage shop. Ferns is an ancient town believed to have been established in the 6th century when a monastery was founded. Amazingly Ferns was not only the capital of the Kingdom of Leinster but also of Ireland. The city was destroyed by fire and shrank to its current size. However the remains of Ferns Castle is still standing and tours are available. Additionally it is a very easy drive to the towns of Gorey, Enniscorthy and Wexford. The glorious beaches of the sunny south east are easily accessible
  • Darrell is a great host. We loved his dog Alfie! Beautiful relaxing home, would recommend to a friend.

    Karen-Ann2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Darrell is such a gentleman as we couldn't find the place and he had no problem to pick us up in town. Lovely and cosy place to stay with a beautiful green view. Even better is the warm reception from his dogs. We definitely will recommend and come back in a near future.

    Osmar2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Not a single complaint, everything was perfect. Darrell was the friendliest host we’ve experienced, and as dog lovers we adored being able to love on the dogs if we so chose. Highly recommend!

    Ashley2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Darrell's house is the perfect place for a quiet and relaxing getaway. The room is exactly as in the pictures, and you'll have a lovely porch from where you can enjoy the garden, and the sound of the creek and a waterfall just in front. Alfie and Tannar welcomed us on the house, they are lovely. And Darrell was a perfect host. Totally recommend!

    Daniel2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • A great rural location. Idyllic for a summer base with the brook outside the patio. Darrell and his wife are caring hosts and place a great deal of emphasis on attention to detail. Great value for money for a couple. Highly recommended.

  • Darrell's place is a quiet utopia! Its breathtaking even though I only stayed 2 nights it was a gorgeous quiet spot - I visited in the rain so I can only imagine the beauty of it in the summer. The sound of the waterfall while we slept was peaceful to say the least. The space was perfect & super clean. Will definitly book again if needed for my visit's to my friends. Thank you Darrell. P.S. Your dogs are just the sweetest!

  • We had a really lovely experience here. It's a little off the beaten track but that's what makes it special. The room was wonferful and amenities very handy. It's lovely to be able to make a cup of tea and coffee. Darrell was an excellent host, great communication and the doggies were very friendly. I would definitely come back preferably when it's warm so we can enjoy the outdoor area and waterfall. One night isn't enough!

  • The Chalet is really well equipped, everything you could need is provided in the kitchen. We stayed for a week and used it as our base for our holiday. It was very clean and close to everything. I would recommend a stay here and Marie was a top host.

  • Clean accommodation. Well suited for trips in the southeast of Ireland. Marie has always responded to emails quickly. She lives right next to the chalet and is available for any questions. Checking in and out with the key box is uncomplicated and practical. We can recommend the house for five people. For six, it is then in the dining and living area rather narrow. Wi-Fi had only a weak signal.

  • Thomas and Rita’s cottage is lovely and cosy and just what the doctor ordered. Surrounded by rolling pastures and beautiful scenery, it’s a great escape to the country while being less than an hour and a half from Dublin. We loved the stylish but cosy decor and the stove, which had been set for us before we arrived. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, and the beds are very comfortable. Towels and bed linens were all provided, and Thomas and Rita also left us plenty of firewood. Check in and out was very simple, with the keys in a lock box when we arrived, and there’s plenty of space for parking. A lovely trip, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

  • The cottage is lovely and cosy (a little smaller than it looks in the photos but very comfortable). Check in was really easy and our host Thomas was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Location is beautiful and very peaceful but you need to have a car as it is rural. Lots of lovely walks nearby, we spent a couple of hours in Tomnafinnoge Woods which is nearby. Great stay!

  • Perfect place for an escape away from the City lifestyle. Stunning views, great country air and the cottage was so clean and cosey. I would definetly return.

    Gill2020-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • The perfect escape! My trip was a last minute decision to escape the city. The last minute nature of my trip was met with vey quick responses from Linda, which was so helpful. I wanted a quiet, relaxing space with nice scenery in which to work and write. Kilpipe Cottage delivered on all of the above. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, the space was warm, very well presented, with all of the facilities you could want for your stay. For me, it was the perfect working space, with reliable WiFi and a space to work. Unfortunately, I did not have much opportunity to get out and explore the area, but am very much looking forward to returning to Kilpipe Cottage for leisure purposes. Highly recommend this place!

  • We recently had a lovely 2 night stay in Kilpipe Cottage. Everything about the cottage was perfect, and it's in a peaceful location with great views also. Linda had left essentials which were very handy. The cottage was so cosy and had everything that you could possibly need. We would definitely go back to Kilpipe Cottage again, hopefully for a little longer. Susan & Tom

My place is a 2 min walk to shop, post office, petrol station, pub.. You’ll love my place because of The location! We are right beside various local woodland walks, the Wexford Lavendar Farm, we are about 5 miles to lots of coastal beaches, 3 miles from Gorey and 9 miles from Arklow.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids).
My space is very clean and friendly. The room is downstairs away from the main bedrooms. It's particularly great for those less mobile visitors. The room has a double bed, a single bed and a folded bed (fold out camp bed). It has a WC through the kitchen which is away from the family. The main bathroom is upstairs.
We are right beside a shop which provides all your requirements such as a Post Office, convenience Store, Petrol/Diesel and a Public House for a nice cold beer at the end of the day and not to have to worry about drink driving.
  • Alison is amazing host. Highly recommend xx
