The village is located in the heart of the Frisian lake area, bustling with activity in the summer and has a great middle class. The flower garden(butterfly garden)of the cottage offers a lot of privacy and is located right under the corn mill ,t Lam. Come here relaxed with your sweetheart, away from the hustle and bustle, you will find peace and quiet here and you will wake up to the girls, blackbirds and sparrows.(sometimes Sunday of the church bells). Welcome to our old farmhouse, of which a part of the former stable has been transformed into an atmospheric B&B. Particularly furnished with a lot of art on the wall and a well-stocked bookcase. You have a private entrance with cozy living room, bedroom and private shower/toilet. There is television, with Netflix and You Tube. AN EXTENSIVE BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED. The b and b is located separately and closed off from the main house. Private entrance, private bedroom and private bathroom. There is one b and b space.

Apartment Grutto is located on the 1st floor and can accommodate up to 4 people, with living room/kitchen with sofa bed, separate bedroom and bathroom. The apartment is fully furnished and equipped with every comfort. There is sufficient parking space. Furthermore, we are easily accessible with public transportation (5 minutes walk). There is also a sandy beach on Lake Tjeukemeer within 5-minute walking distance.

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. This former garage has recently been completely transformed into a comfortable and cozy studio. You can enjoy cycling and walking nearby and the Frisian lake area is a 20 minute drive from here. Furthermore, the center of Heerenveen offers plenty of cozy terraces and bars.

Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you hear nothing at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.
