*100 ft from the little Spokane river. *Radiant Floor heat and Air conditioning *Very nice BBQ on common space patio *Small fridge, hot plate, dishes, cookware , and dishwasher in the kitchen space *One single bed and one bunk bed make three sleeping spaces
This space has one twin bed and one bunk bed that are all in the one bed room. The bedroom window looks out at the river and a large willow tree. All of the floors are tile, but are heated so that they are nice and cozy when it is cold out.
This little house is on the river, feel free to bring your shorts and take a dip to cool off on hot summer days!
  • Fantastic little guest house with great little touches of comfort. (I’m still obsessed with the heated tiles!) Fastest communication I’ve experienced on Airbnb so far, with a super easy check-in! Highly recommend!

  • My family and I enjoyed our stay here. It's in a pretty area about half hour north of Spokane. The hosts are very responsive and helpful, the beds are comfortable and the space is cozy. Wifi isn't the best but it's a small price to pay when you're relaxing far from the city!

  • This is a property on a stream, so be prepared for a little off-roading on a dirt road in & out of the house. Cute little guest house with everything included in it. Bath w shower, Kitchenette, cozy nook with games, & a basket with Oatmeal coffees, teas & cocoa & basic condiments. Cute place. Be prepared to snuggle with your loved ones. The biggest bed is a TWIN.

    Mindy2019-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • The place is quiet and peaceful. The williw tree by the river would be a wonderful place to sit on a sunny day.

Our cabin was built to complement nature. It has an open plan and a vaulted ceiling. The bay window overlooks a native forest and walking paths. The jetted tub, complete kitchen, balcony, DVD and wood stove makes it easy place to relax year round. This is a loft built over a two car garage. Checkout out our 'Pineyslope Guesthouse' Facebook page.
The guesthouse is next door to our house, which is on Reflection Lake. Our property is heavily forested with eight native conifers. Every season brings a different kind of beauty. The cabin is ideal for a couple. This is one large open space, the bed, living room, and eating nook are all part of the upstairs open space. We do have a sleeper sofa that can sleep two more.
We live in a homeowners association that is diverse, rural, and generally quiet. Motorized boats are not allow on our private lakes. We love it.
  • The quiet surroundings and nature walks make it the perfect getaway. Space is clean and very calming.

  • This place is amazing! There are so many special touches in the apartment, outside, and all throughout the trails. Truly this was one of the best places we have stayed. Lucinda greeted us warmly, was kind and thoughtful, and truly made our stay great.

    Jamie2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing experience being at Lucinda and Jerry’s home. We were relaxed and felt right at home thanks to them. We enjoyed their company, stories and home. If you want to disconnect and enjoy the country side with loving people and a place to explore, this is your place. This will be our go-to spot for future getaways.

    Bianca2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • It was beautiful all around! Lucinda and Jerry were great hosts and delightful - will stay again if we're up in this area for sure! The breakfast supplies were an unexpected wonderful touch. The woodburning stove was our favorite part.

    Caroline2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Lucinda and Jerry's place is a jewel. It's across the street from a pretty lake, at the end of a dead-end road, overlooking a forested hillside with nicely maintained trails. Inside, the kitchen is equipped with quality cookware and dishes, and throughout you are surrounded by beautiful stained glass, big windows letting the light in, and colorful momentos from their world travels. This is a wonderful retreat, close to Spokane, but in the woods. Combined with an affordable price, this is a gem! Thank you, Lucinda and Jerry.

    Joan2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • What a great place! My dog and I especially enjoyed the easily accessible walking trails through the woods.

    John2020-02-13T00:00:00Z

Country living on the river. Quiet nights await you in your private room. In season: fish, float, swim or just enjoy our river. Kindly we request no smoking in the house, this would include e-sigs. Smoking is allowed outside. No marijuana usage.
We are located 35 mins. north of Spokane - close to Mt. Spokane, tress, farms, cows, sheep, goats, horses are all within a short drive or longer walk. This is a country area and the RIVER is awesome.
  • This place was wonderful! We were just passing through but Anne made great accommodations for us! Great room, space, and was super clean! Highly recommend and would stay there again!

    Sara2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome.

    Tiona2020-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • Ann and her husband are great hosts. I have stayed with them a few times. When I am in the area this is always my first choice of a place to stay. It's comfortable and an Incredibly affordable price. It's a quiet country setting, they do have a dog and a cat. The dog is awesome , he loves to play fetch and is very people- friendly. Even though this is a private room in their own home it feels very private. There is a bathroom right next to the room, though this is a shared space it doesn't get used that much. Finding their house was no problem, Ann has a white reflective w at the end of the driveway to help drivers if they're arriving at night. There is plenty of parking. I appreciated the complementary coffee and toast in the morning. It's pretty much of a self-serve set up. But I prefer that anyway as I am rather independent. If you want to chat with Ann and her husband they are friendly and available, however they totally respect my privacy when I need time to myself, which I often do after a long day. I have also learned that if Ann happens to be baking cookies she is very generous to share with her guests. I'm not sure how I can arrange to make sure I'm there on days that she's doing baking. But it's usually worth my while. There is free Wi-Fi, however I usually just use my own phone as a hotspot when I need Wi-Fi. I will definitely be booking with her again when I am in the area. I also appreciate that the check in is very easy - no problems there, if Ann is not home she leaves self-check in instructions which are easy to follow. If you like to bike or run or walk for exercise the house is located in an area that is great for that. Her house is also easily off of the state highway, but is still quiet. She tells me that in the summer time guests sometimes make use of the river that the property is located on - I did have time to check this out and it was very nice - I hope to come back in warmer weather next year. .

    John2019-11-21T00:00:00Z
  • I appreciate Ann's hospitality and clean, convenient space. She provides coffee and toast for the morning - before I rush off to work. She is amazingly quick in her responses to messages - there have been times when this was quite helpful. She has a really terrific dog, named Riptide - if you like dogs and like to play fetch with a dog - you will love this dog - he is super people friendly and eager to play fetch. The house is located in the country - so is quiet, but there are no dirt roads - its right off of a state highway - so is quite easy to get to. A very quiet and comfortable space. Ann has a self-check in system, she does appreciate knowing approximate times when a guest is arriving - she helps out an elderly neighbor quite a bit, therefore the self-check in system is convenient for guests. You cannot beat the value . I will definitely try to book here again when I am in the area.

    John2019-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • I unfortunately had to cancel my stay due to having to come home earlier than anticipated. Ann was very nice and understanding, and by the pictures and other reviews- I wish I would have had the opportunity to stay here.

  • Our hosts were very hospitable! Ann and her husband are some of the nicest people you’ll meet! The location is great and they’ve got an amazingly friendly and well trained dog.

private room in large home on River. We have 3 bathrooms in the house. Guests have access to kitchen but we do ask that guests not use the kitchen as their "hang out" time as they can use our living room and dining room. Possibility of including a 2nd room - check with me to verify availability. Price/night would reflect an added bedroom. The "number of beds" part of this listing shows only for ONE BEDROOM, 1 more bed comes with the 2nd bedroom. Your own air mattress can be added.
    Rural, quiet, very pastoral.
  • Great place! But bring a pint roller! Theres lots of dog and cat hair! Also, if staying in winter, bring warm PJs , as the room can get cold. Kind hosts! Beautiful location

This is a large room in our lovely country home - there is a full size bed but you can bring an air-mattress - it is best if you then bring a sleeping bag for the air mattress - you have use of bathrooms, kitchen, patio, river, etc. We do have a dog and a cat - the room can certainly accommodate up to 4 people with air mattresses. Its a very quiet, serene country neighborhood. No smoking or e-sigs inside the house. No marijuana usage.
  • I had to arrive much later than expected to Ann’s house and she totally worked with me. Even though I was only there for a few hours in the middle of the night it still felt like a safe and familiar place. The house has warm, inviting colors and decor that make you feel right at home. There was many bathrooms along with lots of clearly stated signs as to the rules and guidelines of the house. The animals are playful and friendly and also made me feel like I wasn’t alone in a strangers house. I have all good things to say. Thank you Ann!

A nature getaway for couples & families! Very private. Surround yourself with trees, bushes, birds, and so much more . Deer and turkey are often outside your door or windows when you wake up. A beautiful, meandering river runs through the property (18" trout have been caught here!). It's a newly built house, very modern with amenities. Near lakes (Bear Lake is only 5 minutes away), ski resorts, U pick farms (Green Bluff), hunting & so much more to explore. In floor heating for those cold nights!
No nearby neighbors. Small grocery store, Ram fast food restaurant and gas station is within one mile.
  • Clean and spacious cabin Feels like you’re out of the city but is close to restaurants etc Suited our needs

    Dan2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Quiet in the woods little place, lots of beds if you have a bigger group or kiddos. The floor is concrete which might contribute to the loudness of the echo. Everything just about echos inside, like a gymnasium. Clean, everything you need, lots of space, ect. Thanks.

    Danielle2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • This is a nice house in a great location. Very close to the highway and grocery store. Amy is also great to deal with and is happy to help.

  • We had a great stay. Nice to be out of the city. Family trip to see my daughter who is in college in Spokane. This was the best stay we've had in the 4 years we've been using Airbnb for trips we've taken. Heated floors were awesome. Washer and Dryer were excellent. Will definitely book this location again.

    Margaret2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful getaway! We loved this place. Had the whole family with us. Our young kids loved getting to explore outside a bit and also loved the big open front room where they could play and move around. Our oldest daughter had the loft to herself and thought that was pretty cool. The house was very clean, the kitchen was very well stocked and the bedrooms were very comfortable with extra blankets if needed. Over all a great place. We would happily stay again!

    Philip2019-10-06T00:00:00Z

Located 20-25 minutes north of Spokane city limits, the Little Red Barn on Big Meadows is nestled in the foothills of Mount Spokane. Enjoy Greenbluff in the summer & fall and Mt. Spokane skiing in the winter. The Little Spokane River is nearby, as well as many gorgeous lakes. The Barn overlooks the beautiful Big Meadows and faces breathtaking sunsets. We are popular for romantic getaways, special celebrations, family trips, and those seeking to escape the busyness of life and savor the quiet.
The second floor of the barn is the guesthouse, and it houses an 800 sq. foot apartment containing a master bedroom with bath, kitchen, and living room with fireplace and a Roku TV. It is heated by radiant floor heating. The dining area is big enough to seat six in the center of the barn. Accessible only by a slide-out library ladder, upstairs is a dreamy children's loft with twin beds, children's books and a sweet teddy bear. The barn has vaulted ceilings with a cupola on top. There is a lovely outdoor fireplace just beyond the living room doors where one can sit on chilly evenings, basking in the warmth of the fire, listening to the crickets. The Barn was built to be safer for chemically sensitive individuals, and we use free and clear detergents. Please note that the Little Red Barn is listed three times on Airbnb, in three different configurations, depending on how many people are coming. Select the listing that matches your needs. We have the Little Red Barn classic for up to four people, Family and Friends which is for 5 guests and adds an additional bathroom, and Maximum Occupancy which hosts 8. Whichever configuration you choose, your group/ family will have the Barn to yourself.
We are a 10-minute through-the-country drive from Green Bluff, a lovely area with farms, fruit stands, u-pick produce, and adorable country stores.
  • This was our second stay at The Little Red Barn. My wife and I first stayed here back when Christy and her family began renting this space as an Airbnb and it has quickly become a favorite spot for us. Not only is the space very unique, clean, and thoughtfully arranged; Christy and her family are some of the best hosts you could ask for. They truly go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome. Some of the other "features" that we love are the radiant heat (heated floors), the loft/bedroom, Mudge (their sweet dog), and the location. It's truly unique to have access to Spokane with a short drive, but to feel removed from the hustle and bustle when you are out there. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, with an amazing space, and hosts that are extremely thoughtful, then this is the place for you :)

    Jonathan2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • The Little Red Barn is exactly as pictured and described. Christy is great to work with. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and hope to stay again sometime. Highly recommend!

    Sabrina2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Christy was a great host! The house was clean and it was a great place to getaway from business in life. :) The place was also clean and the heated floor was a plus for January weather.

    Olivia2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Christy’s place is so nice and cozy! We stayed here for 4 nights and loved just being there. I highly recommend staying here if you just need to get out of the city for a little breather!

    Martha2019-12-14T00:00:00Z

Cozy 1940s farm cottage located 35 minutes North of downtown Spokane/I-90 and close to many outdoor activities. Cottage is separate from the main house and situated on a 32 acre working farm where we live and raise Finnsheep, goats, horses, chickens, pigs and dogs. Babbling creek runs past the cottage and we are close to Silverwood, Ski areas and Green Bluff. Come stay with us on the farm!
Our 1940s cottage was remodeled in 2012, but we tried to maintain the character of the building. Upstairs houses the living room, bathroom with shower, Smart TV, DVD, WiFi, bedroom, and kitchen. Downstairs has 2 more bedrooms which do not have doors. There are two couches that could be used to sleep on as well as floor space for 1-2 air mattresses. There is also a small family room and laundry. Outside a small creek flows beside the cottage and mature maple trees provide cool shade. A large deck and 2 car carport and RV parking area are in the front.
Beautiful farm located in rolling hills at the base of Mt. Spokane. Large Ponderosa Pine trees line the hilltops and flat land is covered in hay. Hot in the summer and cold and snowy in the winter- this is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy animals and nature.
  • Amy's place is a warm little cozy cottage that reminds me of grandma's house:-) You feel at home and it has a kitchen and laundry room which make it much better than a hotel stay. We are from the area but were remodeling, but we will definitely recommend their cottage to any of our family members visiting the area. Would be an awesome place for a wedding venue which they use the farm for already.

    Cheryl2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the Dirty Boots Ranch was perfect. Amy was a great host, the farm animals were fun to visit, and there were farm fresh eggs in the kitchen when we arrived!

    Nicole2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • We found Amy and her family’s little home by what now seems to be a godsend. Initially my wife and I where looking for a cute little BnB to escape to after we eloped with our friends and family and begin our honeymoon. Then, after noticing a barn on Amy’s property I asked if it would be possible to hold a small wedding ceremony in it to try and make our day a little more special because our original plans had fallen through. Amy got back to us right away, (while on vacation hours away) and worked with us beyond my expectations. When we finally got to meet Amy and her family while setting up for our wedding it was if we had found a long lost friend, she was so welcoming and loving and offered nothing but help to make our day special. We hosted our wedding at her property then had a few close friends spend the night with us and it was wonderful. Plus all the farm animals made my wife’s day, adding perfect little touch to day! I would recommend this to anyone and to anyone looking for the perfect “country” venue to be married at! Amy thank you again so much for everything you’ve done, we are even more thankful we have gained a new friend! We will be back.

Relax and recharge in this picturesque wooded setting with a beautiful view of Sacheen Lake. The cabin is decorated beautifully throughout with a Native-American motif. Take in the lake view from the wall of windows in the A-frame living room, or from the living-room deck, the lower-level patio, or the dock on the water itself. When the weather is warm, enjoy sunbathing, swimming, or fishing from the dock. Bring your ski-boat, or jet skis (public boat launch nearby), or use our kayaks.
This is a classic lake cabin - an A-Frame of the type that used to be very common on lakes and in mountain settings around the Pacific Northwest where heavy snows were common in winter and would often collapse the roofs of other types of structures. The former owners were visual artists that decorated the place beautifully over the years in a Native-American theme to pay respect to the original inhabitants of the area. Because we fell in love with the work they had done, we vowed to ourselves we would keep the place much as we'd found it. From the hand-painted fireplace mantle, to the carving on the door facing the lake, to the metal sculptures in the yard, to the paintings and wall-hangings throughout the cabin, we still find something new to look at and wonder about every time our own family visits.

  • Tereesa and Jim do a great job of making you feel welcome and at home during your stay. The room is on the lower floor of their residence but quite private and separated from the family's activities in the rest of the house. It is a working horse boarding and training operation, so you do hear some footsteps and other movement as the family completes their daily chores and other duties around the farm. But overall, the area is very quiet and isolated from the congestion and activity of Spokane city. If you like horses, you'll love this place. Tereesa and Jim (and their adult children) are professional trainers who invite you to explore the grounds and will help you see and get to know any, or all, of the family's horses. They generously allowed me to walk our young setter in the extensive forest and meadow areas across the street where they ride their horses. Between the open space, deer and coyotes, my dog had great time exploring the area and playing with the family's dog, Dexter. Since this is a working horse operation, you probably want to bring a pair of boots or at least shoes that you can slip off easily to keep most of the mud and horse residue outside. It's a reasonable request from Tereesa that lets her maintain a very clean area for you to stay in. The room is well furnished, with a lovely fireplace and comfortable queen-size bed. There are additional bunk beds for the kids and the bath area has great water pressure and plenty of hot water to wash off any remaining mud. The hot tub was a welcome retreat after a long, hectic day and they provided plenty of towels and hooks for drying everything out in the bath area. The furnace and heating system does make a bit of noise, but it certainly didn't stop my wife and I from sleeping very soundly in the comfortable bed. Once you figure out the Amazon streaming system, the T.V. has plenty of options and works well. There is a small refrigerator and microwave in the bath that work great for preparing snacks or a quick meal. All in all, we had a wonderful stay with Tereesa and Jim and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this AirBnB to anyone looking for a quiet stay in the country about 5 miles north of Spokane. Just remember, they're a busy, working family of professional horse trainers. They let you come and go on your own schedule and leave you to your own devices unless you ask about something. And I'm sure horse rides and expert equestirian advice are available but definitely not included in the room rental.

  • This place is really nice and comfortable. We spent our days visiting family and it was nice to come back to a quiet, comfy place to wind down and relax. We got to meet Teressa and Jim during the end of our stay and was glad we did! They have a beautiful family and their home reflects their hospitality!

  • We had a great stay at Tereesa’s place! The space was clean and cozy, and the big bed was exceptionally comfortable. We were greeted right away and shown around the property by Tereesa’s husband, who encouraged us to make ourselves right at home and showed us all of the amenities. This is a great place to stay with kiddos, and we especially enjoyed the big friendly house cat:) We felt safe and right at home here. Thank you for having us!

Located 20-25 minutes north of Spokane city limits, the Little Red Barn on Big Meadows is nestled in the foothills of Mount Spokane. Enjoy Greenbluff in the fall and Mt.
The second floor of the barn is the guesthouse, and it houses an 800 sq. foot apartment containing a master bedroom (queen) with bath, kitchen, and living room with fireplace and a Roku TV. It is heated by radiant floor heating. The dining area is big enough to seat 6-7 in the center of the barn. There is additional seating at the island with two bar stools. Accessible only by a slide-out library ladder, upstairs is a dreamy pink children's loft with twin beds, children's books and a sweet teddy bear. Downstairs we have the Pioneer Woman room, a single-bed bedroom with a full bathroom (walk-in shower). Halfway down the stairs on the way to this bedroom is the brand-new Hay Mow. This special space has two twin mattresses that can be slid together to make a king if desired. It has a sloped ceiling. Kids will be able to stand up but adults will need to stoop. It is more of a hideaway! The barn has vaulted ceilings with a cupola on top. Outdoors is a fireplace just beyond the living room doors where one can sit on chilly evenings, basking in the warmth of the fire, listening to the crickets. The Barn was built to be safer for chemically sensitive individuals, and we use free and clear detergents. Please note that the Little Red Barn is listed three times on Airbnb, in three different configurations, depending on how many people are coming. Select the listing that matches your needs. We have the Little Red Barn classic for up to four people, Family and Friends which is for 5 guests and adds an additional bathroom, and Maximum Occupancy which hosts up to 8 guests. The eighth guest will have the couch or a cot rather than a bed. Whichever configuration you choose, your group/ family will have the Barn to yourself. :)
We are a 10-minute country drive from Green Bluff.
  • Awesome windows, creative spaces, and very comfortable and well done. We had a great time.

  • Such a fun getaway. The drive to the location is beautiful and the place itself is amazing. It’s close to the mountain for those who like to ski while still being close enough to explore the city. Perfect for families and friends. Host is so sweet and very welcoming. Notes are left through the place to answer any question you may have. Would highly recommend to anyone!

A darling cottage on a secondary lot at Diamond lake. Sit on the covered porch and watch the eagles soar above the lake. Which is across the street. You will have a partial lake view from the cottage. Lake access is maybe a half mile up the street at the public boat launch. There's a beach there as well as a nice boat launch. Diamond lake is the 3rd cleanest lake in Washington state. It is a solid bottom (rocky) lake. That means hardly any seaweed at all. I would recommend water shoes if you have tender feet. 😊 Spend a fun day on the lake and come home and show off your bbq skills on the charcoal grill. Later on when it cools off relax in the salt water hot tub! The area has so much to offer. Newport is just 6 miles north. If you forgot any essentials they do have a Safeway for your shopping needs.
  • This is a great little lake charmer, the attention to detail and the level of comfort make this an absolute value. A cute little cabin with comfortable beds and heated floors to welcome you when coming in from the hot tub.

Upstairs suite in a vintage farmhouse with spectacular Mt Spokane views.
I love my 1940's vintage farm house surrounded by fields and evergreen woods with a spectacular view of Mt. Spokane. I have always preferred a house with character. The rental suite is upstairs. It is quaint and comfy as a farm house would be. The property is accessible to Spokane Lilac Festival, Bloomsday Marathon and Hoopfest; Green Bluff, Mt Spokane, lake fishing, hiking, biking. Access from the property to the main highway is easy. It is quiet, but close to amenities. The views are spectacular (particularly from the hot tub). The suite is upstairs with a private bathroom, has internet access basic TV reception, laundry facilities, a fully equipped kitchen with access on request, and has two outside cats. If you have a dog, let me know in advance. There is a fenced yard area. The hot tub is off the deck. There is room for your vehicle.
This is farm country. It is zoned agricultural – I got lucky and have a 5 acre parcel with the original workers' house. My neighbors all look out for one another. The one across the street to the right always knows when I'm away or if I have guests staying over. Please don't bother him except in an emergency. There are a few good restaurants and most services in Deer Park, 12 miles from the house, and full services in Spokane, the north end of town being 22 miles and in Newport 20 miles to the north of the house. For events and other entertainment, check out the INLANDER, a free weekly publication available in many places in Spokane and some in Deer Park. I keep their current annual publication in your room.
  • Great country getaway. Very cute home and I feel so at home when I visit.

Located 35 miles north of Spokane, Washington, in the mountains, far away from the sounds of the city, this is the perfect all-season get away to enjoy nature at it's finest. With a gentle sloping grassy lawn that takes you right to the lakes edge and new dock, it's impossible not to have fun swimming, boating, grilling or just enjoying company around the fire pit. Winter brings snowy fun! Located close to ski resorts, snow machine parks and the mountains, Lake Sacheen has it all!
This 3+ bedroom house is right on the lake with lots of space for everyone. Easy sloping yard to the waters edge and floating dock. A separate deck at the waters edge lets you relax and take in the serene views. Inside there is a full kitchen, living room and dining area. The game room has a full size Foosball table and plenty of other family games.
At the north end of the lake there is a small convenience store only about a mile away which stocks all the essentials such as gas, beer, fishing tackle, and even fresh doughnuts in the morning.
  • This is a great cabin in a beautiful location! Pictures and descriptions are accurate and there was plenty of room for my family here. The bunk room is connected by a breezeway and my young kids would not have been comfortable sleeping so far away from mom, but this is a great space for older kids or families traveling together. WiFi was great, laundry in house, easy check in, responsive and helpful host. I hope to be back next year!

  • Great place to stay.

    Donald2019-06-14T00:00:00Z
  • Comfortable cabin. Great communication! The only negative (or positive, depending on how you look at it) is that there is very limited cell phone service at the cabin, but the wifi there worked well.

    Lisa2019-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Quick communication and good location for where we are working. Has all the basic amenities.

    Ian2018-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Susan was a great host and her Sacheen cabin is a great spot. The private dock is nice to have, but bring floaties so you can get past the seaweed first. The kitchen is stocked with just about any utensil and cooking item you’d need. Beds are decent, bedding and towels are new and soft, there’s plenty of provided entertainment even for non-swimmers. The main deck isn’t usable but the one by the water is better anyways. It’s been loved in its days and hasn’t been updated so the decor is a trip! Great place, I’d come back.

We are return customers because of the great, lake-user-friendly location, and the layout of the home which provides a wonderful communal space but also plenty of privacy with the 3 different sleeping areas and two bathrooms. We offer our 1940's cozy guest cottage with 3 bedrooms, 1 bath with room to sleep 6 or more. It is located on our 32 acre farm located only 35 minutes North of downtown Spokane and 3 miles off Hwy 2. We raise Finn Sheep, goats, chickens, horses, and pigs. We have 2 friendly Labs- Ruger and Astro who will greet you with sticks. We are only 45 minutes from Silverwood and close to 2 ski resorts. Lots of nature to enjoy!
Our 1940s cottage was remodeled in 2012, but we tried to maintain the character of the building. Upstairs houses the living room, bathroom with shower, Cable TV, bedroom, and kitchen. Downstairs has 2 more 'bedrooms' which do not have doors.
  • Our stay there was amazing! We hosted our small wedding in the beautiful barn, and had the privilege of staying a few nights at the cottage to prepare for it. The barn and outdoor reception areas were gorgeous settings that helped us to create an event that matched us perfectly. The cottage feels like home with tons of little touches that make you feel immediately comfortable. We loved the farm fresh eggs and personalized welcome sign! Amy and her family are absolutely wonderful hosts that made our busy time there significantly less stressful. We will definitely be back to stay again!

We also provide a barbecue for guests to use and all linens (sheets, bedding, pillows, dish towels, bath towels, etc.) are provided. Please note that the cabin has 2 separate sleeping areas - an open loft and a bedroom area separated by a full wall and a room divider. Although private enough for a family group, couples travelling together should be aware that there is not a door separating these areas from the main living areas of the cabin. During the summer you can enjoy water sports of all kinds including fishing, boating, water skiing and swimming. If it's relaxation and sunshine you're looking for, you'll find it at Diamond Lake. Because Diamond Lake is so close to Spokane, Washington, you can enjoy the beauty and relaxation of the staying on the water while experiencing the excellent shopping and culinary opportunities available in the city. In the winter you can enjoy ice skating, ice fishing cross-country skiing or you can visit one of the three ski hills located within an hour and a half from the cabin. After a day in a winter wonderland, you can return to the cabin to rest beside a toasty fire in the fireplace and plan your adventures for the next day. We look forward to sharing our waterfront paradise with you.

  • We had a great getaway staying at Ardella Lodge. It was perfect for us since we have 3 boys. They played down by the beach and even went in the water though it was terribly cold! The canoe was fun to paddle around on. It was the quiet time of year so we felt like we had the whole lake to ourselves.
