This is the master bedroom of a 4 bedroom house. I added it’s own private entrance. There is no access to any other part of the house. I have modified the bedroom to include a mini kitchen, it does NOT have a stove. I provide a hot plate, small refrigerator, microwave, toaster, blender & coffee maker, as well as basic dinning needs, plates, utensils & cups. Very quiet paved street & mountain view. PLEASE NOTE HOUSE RULES BEFORE BOOKING to ensure that this would be a great fit for both parties
The house sits right on the outside of Sierra Vista city limits. It’s located off of Ramsey Road, between Hwy 90 but before Moson. This is NOT a guest house.
This is a quiet neighborhood, from the front of the house you have a beautiful scenic view of the mountains. There’s a little outside area where you can sit and just enjoy the weather!
  • Crystal's facilities are perfect in every way.

  • Crystal’s place was perfect for us. It was spacious and exceptionally clean. After long days of hiking it was the perfect place to come home to. It was quiet and we loved sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. No complaints at all

  • My wife and I were in Sierra Vista to do some hiking and bird watching. Crystal's place was a perfect base for this - close to the nature reserves and a great location. Just a few minutes outside the city, the skies were wide open and great for photography and some star gazing in the evening. The place was immaculate, check-in a breeze and it had all the amenities were needed to enjoy our stay. Communication was excellent. After a long day of hiking and bird watching, the bed was so comfortable for getting a good nights sleep.

    Dan2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed overnight at Crystal's place on a last minute trip to Bisbee. The place was very nice and she had snacks laid out for us on the counter which was a really nice touch. The room was connected to the rest of the house and was separated by an interior wall which made noise a concern for us at first, but after our stay I can say that we slept soundly with no noise interruptions.

    Brandon2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice place, good communication, and convenient.

    Nicole2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Crystal’s place was great. It was away from the city so it was very quiet. We appreciated the suggestion of Brews Brothers Coffee which was a short distance and was a fantastic place for breakfast. Loved staying here and loved the area.

  • We had a nice stay. The house and yard were nice. The night skies are awesome. Great for stargazers.

    Alexi2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home. Fabulous views of the surrounding mountain ranges from the front porch and balcony. Nice kitchen and bathrooms too. If you have pets there is a small enclosed yard in the back. Nice and private property.

    Linda2019-11-07T00:00:00Z
  • This is a terrific place. It is very comfortable and relaxing on a large property, far away from any neighbours or other houses. There are two main bedrooms in the main "A" frame house and also a guest cottage. I think it would sleep at least 6 comfortably. The house and property is spotless and its obvious that lots of care and attention is paid to keeping it clean. It has a full kitchen and is well equipped with all the necessary utensils. There are two bathrooms in the main house (and I think there is one in the cottage)? The check in is seamless and easy, very flexible. The hosts are very quick to respond to questions. One really nice feature is its location. It is conveniently located near the main town but far enough away that don't really even know the town is nearby. If you are a birder or hiker or simply like the outdoors it is very close to both the San Pedro House and San Pedro River valley and to Ramsey Canyon and many other hot birding spots. Bisbee and Tombstone are also easy to get to from the house and property. Highly recommended. We would defiantly book again if we were to visit Sierra Vista in the future.

  • This was the best experience we could have had as a first time AIRBNB user. The home was beautiful, clean, and had more than we could imagine. The property is perfect for animals to roam around and explore. Close to so many things yet the quiet peacefulness was so wonderful and WOW the scenery and stars - - - OMGoodness, so so beautiful. Amazing place to stay!

A cozy and private guesthouse nestled in the oaks at the foot of the majestic Huachuca mountains. Stunning mountain views from the living room, kitchen, and wrap-around porch. Plenty of space, including a large kitchen with marble countertops and a spacious living room with a sofa bed. Though it feels remote and secluded, excellent restaurants are within a 5-minute drive!
  • The "Hoot Owl Cottage" was a great AirBnB experience for me and my wife. The pictures on the AirBnB website don't do the place justice, it is immaculate, extremely well appointed and comfortable, and a great location for seeing places like the Coronado National Monument and Montezuma Peak. Eric is a great host and there are nice perks like coffee supplied and tissues, little things that make a big difference. Finally, the views from the side patio of the mountains is awesome. I highly recommend this place, one of our best AirBnB experiences ever!

    Charles2019-11-15T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy fireplace, beautiful kitchen and bathroom, very comfortable and great location. Would happily stay again. Great host.

    L.2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Eric’s place is a beautiful, new, cozy, well equipped cottage. Plenty of room to stretch out inside and out!!!!

    Mirabai2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • My husband an I stayed at Eric’s place to celebrate our anniversary weekend. The cottage was very clean and well kept. We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and amazing view from the patio! Eric was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We would recommend booking Eric’s place for a relaxing weekend getaway.

    Leslie2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Loved this cottage! From the easy communication with Eric and Jennifer both before and during our stay, the great location, and super clean house, it was all better than good. The cottage itself was much bigger than we had anticipated-lots of room for 2 adults and a 12 year old. We spent most of our time out on the wrap around patio with great views, comfortable furnishings, and a nice cool breeze. The perfect place for a cup of coffee in the morning. We ate all of our meals out on the patio as well. Very well located near several of the most popular hiking trails and attractions. We couldn't have asked for a better 3 days and we are looking forward to returning again soon.

    Roy2019-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful place! The photos and description don't do the cottage justice - this is one of the best Airbnb's we've stayed in. Eric & Jennifer were great hosts, and made sure we had all we needed. The cottage (more like a house) was very clean, comfortable, and spacious (the large, well-appointed kitchen was especially appreciated). The location was perfect for birders - we loved nearby Ramsey Canyon (open Thurs-Mon) and the feeders at Ash Canyon Bird Sanctuary (open Thurs-Tues).

    Lori2019-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • The Hoot Owl was such a cute, clean little place to stay. The owner, Eric, greeted us and showed us around. He was always available for any needs, yet we felt we had total privacy. The apartment was so beautiful, with large beautiful kitchen. The shower was beautifully tiled, had a glass door, and 2 shower heads. The covered patio had great view and kept the sun off of us, so it was enjoyable all the time. We were there for some birding. From the property, we saw the Cactus Wren, Bewicks Wren, Roadrunner, Verdin, Canyon Towhee, and House Finches. All the best birding sites were so close. The sunset was beautiful from the patio over the mountains in the back. I am planning a trip for my patents and will have them stay here!! I will most definitely stay here again in the future!

    April2019-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a gem! A handsome and well-appointed guest house, separate from the main house, with a lovely view of the desert and Coronado peak from the shady porch. The hosts are unobtrusive but there if you need them, the kitchen has everything you'll need (plus a gas grill outside!), the big living room means everyone has room to spread out. Very convenient to Ramsey Canyon, Coronado, the San Pedro River, etc. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area.

  • great place. conveniently close enough to the base, but just outside of sierra vista, so it is nice and quiet. awesome value. thank you!!

  • Deseri and Doug are the most generous, and generous of spirit, folks I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, on the road or anywhere else. Their home is beautiful and comfortable, and nestled against a backdrop of classic Arizona mountains. Deseri and Doug allowed me to book with very little advance notice, as I was traveling cross country and uncertain where I'd be at any given time. They treated my doggy Ms. Tiggy as one of their own, which I appreciate immensely. I can hardly wait to visit them again. Wonderful people, very comfortable home, wonderful inclusive atmosphere.

    George2019-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • Deseri & Doug were amazing people, we booked the Airbnb and I had let her know I was bringing our 3 dogs! She was totally okay with it they have a dog run right outside easy access and have access to water at all times for the dogs. Room 2 was bigger then we expected we fit our XL dog kennel in it and there was still enough space. They let us know that the dogs were welcome to roam around the home which was awesome of them. We had amazing conversations and they made us fee right at home. We had left earlier then anticipated and they were working with us throughout everything. Next time we come we will be staying here again. ❤️

Stay in the states and visit galleries, gold mines, and antique shops in Bisbee a 35-minute drive away from the ranch.
  • I stayed here while visiting my son for the Thanksgiving holidays. He is in training at Fort Huachuca. The home is lovely and cozy, and the views of the mountains are beautiful. It’s so much nicer than staying in a hotel with your soldier, I was able to make grilled cheese on demand and he crashed for three hour nap on Saturday afternoon on the sofa.

  • What a fabulous place to stay in the Sierra Vista area. It is a roomy, beautifully decorated, comfortable space. My favorite place in the home was the sunroom that looked out over the large yard. A lovely spot to have your coffee in the morning. We came to the area to do some birding and this home is centrally located to the various canyons that have great birding opportunities. I got many nice photos of birds right in the yard which was a perk for me. Kathy is a wonderful host and was so kind and helpful. I can’t recommend this place enough! Sarah and Bob

Spacious yurt. Located in the high desert mule mountains with amazing views of fantastic starry skies, sunsets and sunrises. Close to hiking, the center of town, shopping, restaurants and main roads. Giving you the luxury of the open outdoors, the feeling of privacy with out being secluded. Easily accessible and comfortable. The space is intimate. Note: Dogs welcome, no other pets please. Resident dogs close by behind their own fenced yard space. Thanks we hope you enjoy yurtself here!
Yurt is located in a beautiful spot, in the mule mountains. At this elevation the views are lovely. Surrounded by nature. If you're into birding or nature watching there are often several birds to view and you may even spot a deer or two. About 30 minutes away is Whitewater Draw nature conservatory and we are also about 25 minutes from to the boarder of Mexico. The nearest grocery store is about a 15 minute drive away. The patio is perfect for star gazing and watching the sunrise. Host housing is in sight from the yurt. The yurt experience is somewhat like “glamping” but with a super home like feel. It is an open circular space, equipped with a kitchen area (stove, fridge, sink), dining table and couch/seating. Has a stand up shower and toilet area. (The toilet area has a privacy curtain) located next to the shower. There is AC! electricity and hot water and indoor lighting and a porch light. There is a propane fireplace inside yurt, privacy flaps on the windows and removable Velcro windows so you may adjust to your comfort. Yurt has a tv for DVD player use, no cable. *In order to be mindful of nature and conserving the environment, for water use we are utilizing captured rain water for all use except for drinking, we provide bottled drinking water for cooking and drinking. The grey water from the shower is then used to water the trees and land around the yurt* It’s dark at night on the lands, flash lights provided in yurt for use. Plenty of lighting inside yurt and a soft yellow porch light, solar motion lights along path to yurt. We are always happy to provide a tutorial on how to use the yurt if you desire, feel free to send us an email or text with any questions. Local mountain wild life you may spot in your travels around the lands and town: javelina, buzzards, ravens, hawks, wild cats, Mexican blue jays and various song birds, small lizards, squirrels, bats, kudamundi (coati), hummingbirds, moths and butterflies. *The insects have woken up for the season be aware that black widows and scorpions and other various insects and snakes could be around, we treat for insects with pet and people friendly products and due to elevation we have been fortunate to rarely have any snakes around, just note that they are in the desert so keep that in mind when hiking the mountains etc. Thank you. We look forward to your stay!
Our closest neighbors are down the road. We see friendly dog walkers and bicyclists often on the road outside this airbnb. There's 55 acres of land and you are welcome to explore and hike around. There's a path next to the highway overlook across from the parking area. We are off of the main road and conveniently located to highway 80.
  • Spent an amazingly relaxing rainy high desert night here! The perfect get away!

    Emily2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • The yurt is the perfect base camp for visiting Bisbee. It’s far away enough from town for a relaxing get away in the mountains. The views are beautiful. We also were pleasantly surprised to discover a great hiking trail just across the street. The yurt itself is so cozy and clean. We felt right at home and our dog loved the stay as well. We woke up to snow one morning during our stay and it was magical!

    Tabitha2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great views and close drive to town! Loved how private the yurt was and our dogs enjoyed to fenced in yard.

This is a private studio suite in what used to be my garage. The other half will soon be my Ranch Store (Barnyard Boutique) and craft room. The studio has a private entrance and deck, main room with queen size murphy bed, mini kitchen area, and a private bathroom. Your stay will be as private as you want it to be. My home is next door, and this is a working ranch, so you are free to be as involved as you like, or we'll leave you alone if you prefer solitude.
Fully equipped private studio space with everything you need to stay for a night or two, or a week! Mini kitchen has a small refrigerator, microwave, induction cook-top, electric grill, coffee maker, and is stocked with dishes and kitchen tools. If you want to BBQ, my gas grill is available just outside. Bathroom has a rain-head shower with custom tile. The queen size murphy bed is super comfy, and the views from your private deck are awesome all day and night!
This is a rural area, my closest neighbor is 1/4 mile away. There is a horse rescue nearby and their mountain pasture is just across the road, so you get to watch the horses. Deer (and other wildlife) visit my yard often. The closest city is Sierra Vista about 15 miles north, but the mountain hides most of the lights, so stargazing at night is incredible! We are very close to the entrance to Coronado National Monument, with plenty of hiking trails and a picnic area, visitor's center. Ramsey Canyon and the San Pedro Riparian area are less than ten miles for birders and wildlife-watchers. Kartchner Caverns is 45 min away. Parker Canyon lake is not far. Sonoita / Elgin WINE COUNTRY is not far. Bisbee - 20 miles. Tombstone - 30 miles. Historic Fort Huachuca - 20 miles. You could spend a couple of weeks here and do something different ever single day and still not see it all.
  • Incredibly homely and cosy studio on a beautiful property and with stunning views of the landscape. Lisa is super accommodating and thoughtful and it was a pleasure to spend time together with everyone on the ranch, and the cute animals too. Felt like being part of a family, whilst having all the personal space and time needed. Excellent location for access to Coronado, the canyons of the Huachuca mountains and an adventurous drive to Parker Canyon Lake. Stay here!

    Derek2019-11-28T00:00:00Z
  • I just spent 3 days in my version of heaven! The suite was very clean, the views were amazing, and I loved waking up to beautiful sunrises every morning. I stayed here as a personal retreat. I was able to sit on the deck and study for hours without interruption, then feed the alpacas and llama for a little break. Lisa is an amazing host and hung out with me for sunset snacks by the fire. I look forward to bringing my husband next time as this can be as secluded or as social of a visit as you like. Just what this city girl needed!

    Stephanie2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • This place was only two miles from AZ 92. If you want a little retreat in the country with a amazing views of the mountains and as much privacy as you desire this is the place. Excellent value and Lisa is extremely accommodating.

    Lynn2019-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • Such a peaceful, cozy retreat! We loved the cute space and the beautiful view. My daughter and I enjoyed interacting with the animals and just relaxing. It was the perfect home base for our excursion to Bisbee and hiking trails in the area. We will probably visit again!

    Sharon2019-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa is an amazing host. The place is small, but very well thought out and cozy. She was in touch with me via text once the booking was confirmed, and again on the day of arrival. When we got there she greeted my son and I, showed us around the place, then introduced us to the alpacas, llama named Hunk, the guard dogs of the pack and the peacocks. All the animals were amazing and made it special for my son. It’s a little off the beaten path but worth it for that solitude in the morning and evening, and just to get some fresh air. I can’t recommend Lisa enough. You’ll thoroughly enjoy the experience if you stay.

    Joseph2019-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy but practical space, located a bit off the beaten track which is exactly what I wanted. Close proximity to trails and hikes, but beautiful scenery on the property itself. Perfect for adventure seekers or a secluded get away. It is located on an active farm, so be comfortable with the occasional animal noise and a bug or two. Lisa was a great host! Very accessible and attentive to every detail.

Thunder Mountain Place Guesthouse is located at the base of Miller Peak. Walking distance to the closest hiking trails. Two blocks to Miller Canyon Road, 2.5 miles to Carr Canyon Road and 3.5 miles to Ramsey Canyon Road. Trails galore! Hiking and birding heaven. Two pleasure bicycles provided. "Hummingbird Capital of the World" at your doorstep! Also, home to some of the best bird watching in the country, southeast Arizona actually has four birding ‘seasons’.
Guesthouse is well equipped for overnight stays or extended visits. Dog friendly, but if you are bringing a dog, please notify us. The host must approve the dog prior to booking - we must know the breed, age and disposition. No cats, please.
Three restaurants within 1.3 miles. Brews Brother's Coffee Shop 3.5 miles away. We are located in a rural area. There are small farm animals (goats, geese, peacocks, etc.) in the neighborhood. Javelinas, coyotes, foxes, bobcats, mountain lions and deer frequent the neighborhood, it is a mountainous area. Expect to see mobile homes to million dollar homes in this area.
  • Dinah and Elden were very kind and generous hosts during a five week stay for me and my dog. It was nice to get to know them and have them nearby in case we needed anything, but we always had privacy and independent access to the property and amenities. Everything you could possibly need for cooking and comfort is provided, new, and in immaculate condition, and they always made sure we had everything we might need. We loved being close to the mountains, trails, and birds in the neighborhood. I would be very happy to stay here again!

Casita located in NW historic Old Bisbee. Quiet rural setting nestled in the mountain. Owner on site but will respect your privacy.
Super cute one bed (queen) one bath private casita for your stay while taking in the sights and enjoying the entertainment in the wonderful historic mining town of Old Bisbee. The casita is a separate building, with private entrance, located behind the main house on the Northwest side of town on West Blvd. West Blvd is a favorite walking, hiking, biking or scenic drive destination up the hill to the Old Divide. From the casita it is only a five minute drive, or twenty minute walk, to the heart of town in a nice quiet mountain setting. The casita is clean, nicely furnished with wifi, tv (streaming Roku), mini fridge, coffee maker and electric tea kettle. There is a parking space, accommodating one car, at the front of the main house for guests. Come stay in my little casita and have a great time.
Quiet residential neighborhood nestled in Mule mountain on West Blvd which is a popular destination for sight seeing, walking, hiking, biking en route to the Old Divide.
  • Sue's casita is adorable and comfortable, and she is a wonderful host. Her place is in a quiet neighborhood up the hill from the center of town, which makes for a nice walk. Everything was clean and exactly how I hoped it would be. There are lots of extra pillows, towels, and a warm blanket. There's also a mini-fridge and some toiletry items. I can highly recommend staying at Sue's place while exploring Bisbee and I hope to come back.

  • Nice and quiet spot, right outside of Bisbee with quick access downtown. Definitely recommend.

  • Twas a delight. A cute little casita with both artful and inspiring decor, but also clean and comfortable. Admittedly a mile and half from where the downtown action is happening, but really great value. As I suggested to my host? I am likely to return. And so I shall, if the place is not overbooked!

  • The Bisbee Bungalow is comfortable and cozy. The coffee was very much appreciated! The quiet neighborhood and delightful patio were a treat.

  • Very nice place and really close to downtown bisbee

    Adam2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent stay! Quiet, clean, private, nicely decorated, wonderful bedding, friendly hostess, and in a great location in Bisbee. Also, I have allergies to fragrances, and Sue launders the bedding in unscented laundry detergent. We loved staying here and will do so every time we visit Bisbee. With the rave reviews, Sue's place will fill up fast.

    Carolyn2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great place. Location was excellent and bungalow was charming. Great host.

    Vicky2020-01-20T00:00:00Z

  • My Girlfriend and I stayed over the weekend for the Bisbee Halloween event. It was a last minute trip and Kim's guesthouse was the only thing left that was close enough to Bisbee. Which turned out to be a great thing. This is by far the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in. Kim is so thoughtful and gracious, she made our stay better than I thought it could be. The ranch is beautiful as well as the surrounding area. We found ourselves sitting outside a lot and watching the birds. Having the hot tub there really made this a relaxing mini vacation. I will be staying here in the future whenever I'm in the area or just looking to escape the city.

    Kyle2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Strongly recommend! We loved staying in the cottage. The setting was beautiful with a great view of the mountains and river, and with an incredible view of the starry sky from the hot tub at night. The cottage was charming and spotless and well stocked. Kim was warm and responsive and had thought of every detail. It was a great escape from the city. We will stay here again!

    Mandy Ward2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in Kim's main house and loved everything about it. It was spacious, sparkling clean, and offered beautiful views of the surrounding land and mountains, which we enjoyed while soaking in the hot tub. We appreciated her landscaped gardens as well as some of the produce she grew and fresh eggs (which we incorporated into the meals we cooked in the well equipped kitchen). Kim was super friendly and fun. I hope we have an opportunity to stay at Kim's place again!

    Michelle2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • What an incredible mini-vacation! We stayed at in the guest house for a relaxing, shut-in weekend and felt a million miles from home. The photos don't do it justice! Both the house and surroundings were beyond our imagination and just perfect for two people to unwind and take in lovely views from all sides. The temperature was in the mid-90's (F) when we visited, but the cooling system kept the inside very comfortable. I wish the skies weren't cloudy at night when we visited so we could see all the stars, but sitting in the hot tub while it lightly rained with lightning flashing on the far horizon was probably definitely better. Absolutely loved how close the wildlife were and I saw some (new to me) birds for the first time just outside the kitchen window. We can't wait to come back and actually explore the surroundings some more. We didn't have need to bother Kim, but she was readily available to answer questions. And she left us some eggs from their chickens! The whole set-up was thoughtfully arranged so we didn't want for anything -- it was always already there!

    Meagan2019-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • Everyone who is looking in the bisbee area definitely has to look at this hidden gem! Beautiful scenery and Kim is absolutely a great loving host!!!!

We are located on E Mountain View Road, just 100 yards off of Highway 92, turn off before the Palominas Fire Station on the south side of the road.
  • We have just come back from a wonderful month in Hereford, staying at Mari and Chris' Airbnb. This well-appointed 2-bedroom home is in a quiet neighborhood and is just as described on the Airbnb site. A few of our favorite things: watching the birds (LOTS!!) every day, the night sky, Netflix (was a really nice touch!) and the proximity to so many places to explore and hike. Mari and Chris were wonderful hosts, very responsive to our inquiries and available if needed but also very respectful of our privacy. The home was very clean and all the basics were provided (and then some, to be quite honest). Not sure if our vacations will bring us back to the area but if they do, we would definitely love to stay here again.

    David2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Such a gorgeous spot, with views all the way to Mexico .... and quiet, thoughtful touches everywhere in the casita. Mari is an amazing host -- and a great communicator. The casita is very comfortable and beautiful, and larger and more roomy than the photos reveal. It's set in such a beautiful part of the world, and a great base from which to explore the Huachucas, the San Pedro River, (etc.!) or simply sit and watch bird life at the feeders and admire glorious sunsets. A true gem. Thank you Mari!!!! We'll definitely be back.

    Ellie2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful cottage at the foot of the mountains. Large kitchen with all the necessities. Comfy beds. Everything sparkling clean. Beautiful sunrises over the mountains. We had several changes in plans and Mari took care of them without a hitch. Love the place.

    Scott2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • Have you ever found yourself standing at the kitchen window staring out at a grand landscape of grasslands surrounded by picturesque mountains? Well be prepared because this guesthouse will definitely have that effect. In fact, every window has a wonderful view. In one direction, we enjoyed views of the Huachuca Mountains. From the kitchen we daydreamed ourselves over the nearby border into the dramatic mountains of Mexico. Then just when we were becoming accustomed to the views, it snowed! The house itself is very comfortable, nicely appointed with lots of thoughtful touches. We quickly felt right at home. Try this one, there’s everything to like.

    Carter2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Beautifully decorated with Spanish tiles. Gorgeous views! Loved the birds and other wildlife we saw while there. Highly recommend.

  • It is easy to communicate with Mari. She was very gracious and friendly. The amenities were top notch. We will be back.

    Malinda2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • A very quiet beautiful cottage, very clean lots of amenities. We were wanting to explore he area and this Cottage is Close to every Attraction we wanted to explore. Mari has done a lot of research to let her guests know the history of the area and restaurants in the area. Also the Bird watching is phenomenal.

    Loren2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • This place was a real find. Mari has provided all the little touches: freshly baked cookies, coffee, tea, lots of info about area, hand lotions... Lovely setting and very peaceful. I highly recommend this place.

Quiet 4 acre horse property near the best hiking in Southern Arizona. The location of this property makes it easy to travel to Sierra Vista, Bisbee and Tombstone. RV's, horses and one dog are welcome to this quiet little get away! Please keep in mind that this is a COUNTRY STAY. Things like horses, dirt roads, bugs, sharp plants, and Arizona dust will be prevalent on the property, so please keep that in mind prior to booking with us - it will avoid a painful cancellation on all parties.
Lone Oak Cottage is a small, quiet little get away that isnt too far from town! The porch provides an amazing view to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea at any point of the day. The evening sounds of quail and song birds create a calm atmosphere. The are plenty of choice hiking spots near the location. Whether you need to "get away from it all" or your in town for a visit, consider this quiet little place for your enjoyment!
  • Amazing people, gorgeous view, off the dirt road but totally worth the drive!

  • Perfect place for a quiet night on the edge of the wilderness. All the amenities of home with a very enjoyable seclusion away from the city. Plus, that dvd collection gave us so many reasons to eat in nightly. 😊 definitely would stay again.

  • Just what I was looking for. Out of the way, but not too far. Good place to sit on the porch and read.

    Clayton2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Kasica was extremely quick to answer and very polite. The house is cute with a porch that is perfect for watching sunsets and stargazing. In the house she has provided a few touches to help your stay be as cozy as possible, not to mention all the movie selections. I will definitely stay here again if I am back in Arizona and need a place to stay!

    Maria2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is off a dusty dirt road and in a quiet area with wildlife to view. Accommodations were comfortable and clean and is a good size for two people. It is definitely a value for the money. I would not hesitate to stay again in the future.

This historic Bisbee home is a cozy cottage on a mountainside. This peaceful oasis overlooks Tombstone and Moon Canyons and is only a short walk from all the shops and entertainment of Old Bisbee - a quiet place to relax without compromising location. With hardwood floors and large windows, the home has a bright & cheery feel. Still in the process of being renovated, its turn-of-the century bones are met with warm and rustic contemporary finishes to give you a homey, boutique feel.
The space consists of the 1 bedroom house itself and the detached "cave room" bedroom right behind the home. Consisting of a kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom, 4-season porch and guest house or “cave room,” the 750 square feet home sits on the 2nd terrace across the street from the historic Bisbee Fire Department in Old Bisbee. Built in 1916, the Orton-Matchett House belonged to Amplis S. Orton and Esther B. Matchett. Amplis Orton served as Bisbee Police Chief (1948-49)and exalted leader of the Bisbee Elks Club in 1928. His wife Esther ran the YWCA and was a very active member of the local chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Still celebrated and remembered in the community today, their marriage certificate is on display at the Bisbee Restoration Museum. Having been our family since 1920, this home has special significance for me and my family. We have loved living and coming to visit this home so much over the years - we thought it was time to share the view. We are excited to share our deep Bisbee roots and love of Bisbee today with those who stay with us. Our goal is to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Please note: ~STREET PARKING IS AVAILABLE~ ~THERE ARE STAIRS WITH 30 STEPS TO GET TO THE HOME FROM STREET LEVEL~ ~MAIN HOUSE IS AIR-CONDITIONED, CAVE ROOM IS NOT~
Located in the heart of the Old Bisbee Historic District across the street from one of the oldest continually operated Fire Houses in the US, the home is less than a one mile walk to the heart of downtown and only a half mile from the historic Cochise County Courthouse.
  • I rented the whole house, including the cave room for my boyfriend and I. The house is in good condition for being a100 years old. I loved the little touches that the house had and how cozy the living room is. He had an amazon echo in there that allowed me to listen to music. And the hot tub was turned on, although it didn't warm up enough until the 2nd day. But I felt comfortable and at home the whole time there.

    Ashley2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • This eclectic home was a perfect fit for my husband and I looking for a cute place to stay in Bisbee. Immersed in culture, this home has the most eccentric, yet lovely touches. The home is in a quiet, yet incredibly welcoming community. We were even stopped in the middle of the street on Halloween while driving to be given trick-or-treat candy. An exceptional experience, and about a five or so minute drive from old Bisbee.

    Lacey2019-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • Jay’s place was super cute and a great location. We walked to dinner and then got a golf cart ride back. It wasn’t totally obvious to me that the second bedroom (the “cave room”) was detached and not part of the rest of the house. I could have missed the detail somewhere. Regardless, my friends and I were happy and had a great stay.

    Miranda2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay in Bisbee at Jay's place! It had that old-time feel to it that made the magic of Bisbee come to life! We can't wait to come again :)

A cute home to gather with family and friends. Enjoy the peaceful mountain views from the front porch swing and outdoor dining space. A fenced in area in the back yard for kids and pets to play. Please message me for events and reunions.
A great place to use as a home away from home while exploring southeast Arizona. Historic Tombstone and Bisbee are only a 30 minute drive away. Kartchner Caverns and Arizona's beautiful wine country also are near. Visit soldiers at Fort Huachuca. A great place to bird watch. See if you can spot the vermillion fly catcher that nests in the yard every year!
The home is situated in a quiet area of southeastern Sierra Vista. There are restaurants and a small local movie theater just a few blocks away. Sierra Vista is a nice town and nothing is too far away!

If you are interested in the class we need 48 hours notice to properly prepare. The class fee can be paid directly to us upon arrival for your reservation. You need to be here no later than 2pm on Saturday afternoon to participate in the class. Campfire cooking is dependent on wind and weather conditions! Fires are always a concern in our arid climate and we take it very seriously. We follow the recommendations of the fire department and the park rangers on any given day as to the safety of building campfires. There are NOT any cookouts from October 1st 2019 to March 15th 2020. The cookouts will resume the 16th of March 2020 and go thru the last full weekend in October 2020. We do have bonfires on Friday and Saturday nights, where we have hot drinks ( nonalcoholic, but you can bring your own favorites if you like.) and roast marshmallows. This is our favorite time to sit and get to know our guests! The bonfires are available year around, depending on the wind, weather and if I am on Surgical call at the hospital.
We are “ in the country”, but do have neighbors living close by. We respect their right to privacy and quiet time! Our roads are paved clear to the entrance of the Ranch which is extremely important during monsoon season (mid June to mid September). Unpaved roads quickly become impassible sometimes for hours during our storms. Our property has quite a few trees so there is considerable shade for the heat of the day. The nights are gorgeous, cool and lots of stars.
  • Fabulous view and an excellent Glamping experience!

    Michael2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • LouAnn and Ray are wonderful hosts. We loved staying with them and getting to experience a little of the ranch life - helping with feeding time, getting familiar with local plants... The location is great. Close enough to the town to be able to get food and supplies, but when at the ranch, you know you're in the country - very peaceful and relaxing. Witnessed a couple of beautiful sunsets too.

    Denise2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • It was out 2nd time at LouAnn's place, and it again didn't disappoint. It is more than an AirBnB, it is an experience and LouAnn makes you feel 'part of the family' from the minute you come in. The Teepee has all of the amenities you want (power, USB ports, portable lights, ...). The views from the ranch are amazing, with fantastic sunset/sunrise. We'll be back ... :)

    Pierre2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend LouAnn’s place. Outstanding hospitality!

    Tina2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • This place and the people running it are great. We turned up got a very warm welcome and got shown around the place. If you love wildlife this is where you want to stay. We visited a local town Bisbee on the recommendation from our host and it was brilliant. Thanks for having us.

    Scott2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • As advertised, country hospitality!!

    Linda2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • LouAnn and Ray are warm, hospitable and down-to-earth. When you need to get away from city pretensions, their place is a great little escape. Good for the soul.

    Grace2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Had a wonderful stay on the ranch. The yert is clean, comfortable and spacious. LouAnn was a great host and showed me around the farm on arrival. Look forward to coming back again soon.

This is an RV/Camper/Tent Campsite only - I can provide an extension cord for small appliances, and a hose for water, but you must bring all your own food and supplies. Your stay will be as private as you want it to be. My home is on the property and I also host a guest suite, so there may be other guests on the property at the same time. This is a working ranch; you are welcome to be as involved (or not) with daily chores as you like. Animals live here, so expect barnyard noises, etc. NO PETS!!
RV, Camper, or Tentsite ONLY. I have several sites available to choose from. If you want to BBQ, my gas grill is available. Weather permitting, we can make a campfire in the evenings, but please ask before burning.
  • Lisa's campsite was the perfect pit stop for me before starting the Arizona Trail! Her home in located in tiny little piece of paradise with awesome views in every direction. She was super helpful leading up to and throughout my stay. In fact, she was awesome enough to give me a ride to the Montezuma Pass parking lot and saving me from an additional ~10 miles of hiking (pro tip for the all the hiker out their). Not to mention if you haven't seen alpacas before it worth the trip in itself.

    Meghan2019-11-22T00:00:00Z
  • Set up a tent on Lisa’s patio and thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay. She gave us a meet-and-greet with all the friendly animals (alpacas, llamas, dogs, cat, peacocks, chickens, sheep....) and some melon for breakfast. Note that the animals, especially the roosters, WILL wake you up! Part of the life at the ranch.

    Blair2019-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • If you love alpacas, llamas, sheep, cats, dogs and great company, I would highly recommend staying here. The views are absoluetly beautiful. It's in a great location where a short drive you could go out to eat or get groceries.

  • Stacy's place was absolutely perfect! Communication was easy and the cottage was amazing. I would highly recommend their place to anyone staying in the area and take up their recommendations for businesses in Bisbee.

    Natalie2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Private, quiet, clean and very comfortable

    Donald2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking for a quiet, desert horse ranch get away with great accommodations this is the place.

    Nancy2020-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • Stacy's house was the best Air BnB I have stayed at. The location offers amazing views of pasture, desert and mountains. Not to mention the wildlife (coyotes, deer, quails and rabbits) we encountered. The horses were so fun to hang out with. Each with their own unique personalities. Now to the cottage. My first impression was how clean it was -spotless. This is an updated cottage with top of the line kitchen, bath and bedroom amenities. It's clear the owners put a lot of effort into this home. In addition, they provided many food and beverage staples. The beds were very comfortable as were the seating areas in the dining room and living room. The shower required a high step into the tub and the water pressure was low, but sufficient to clean my long hair. The dish TV provided spotty service with Netflix. We did not use any streaming service. The WiFi worked well. The hosts were super responsive, but not intrusive. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. We were sorry to leave and hope to return someday.

    Ellen2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely love staying here!! Stacy is the BEST! We arrived Thanksgiving day and she had made us a pecan pie. She is always so friendly and easy going. Our daughter's dog chewed the door mat after a big storm and Stacy wasn't even upset. She understood how dogs are. (don't worry we paid for a new mat) The home is beautiful and the land and view at night are breathtaking. I have referred so many people.. you better book before they are full. Great place for a small family.

    Denise2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • When visiting Bisbee I wanted to stay somewhere relaxing and off the beaten path. I could not be happier with my choice to stay at Stacy's place. You get all the benefits of being isolated in nature, but with modern amenities and a very updated living space. The place is so quiet that if you closed your eyes you couldn't tell if it were day or night. Watching the sun come up over the mountains in the morning and watching the sunset over the desert landscape and the twinkling city lights that seem a world away was an amazing experience. There are free roaming horses on the property and watching them suddenly appear from the brush in the morning to come eat was fun for both myself and my dog. We saw deer, coyotes, and plenty of other wildlife as well. The main purpose of my stay was rest & relaxation...and I absolutely recommend it.

    Matthew2019-11-16T00:00:00Z
  • Couldn't recommend this spot more to people that want to be close to town - while also having an incredible spot that feels like you're the only folks left in the world - in a good way! - there are such incredible views surrounding this space - plus lovely horses on the farm- a sweet fire pit - and a claw foot tub to soak in - what a dream spot to hideaway or have a great time with family and friends.

    Megan2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay! Very serene and private setting. Extremely clean! Stacy and Kathy are very responsive. The cottage has all the amenities you will need and more. Hope to stay again. Didn’t want to leave!

Cute, light and airy 2 bedroom, 1 bath, 1916 bungalow at the top of Tombstone Canyon in Historic Old Bisbee. Close enough to the fun and activities of Old Bisbee, but just far enough removed when you're done partaking to have a quiet, beautiful evening relaxing in the screened-in porch with windows all around to enjoy the sweeping mountain views and evening breeze. Please read full description and house rules. Thanks!
We’ve planted our Tempranillo varietal grapevines for our boutique micro vineyard so please visit often and enjoy the progress with us! We are located towards the top of Tombstone Canyon, it is a walkable 1.4 miles to downtown or catch a ride with the “for tips” golf cart tours. The bungalow is light and airy and tastefully decorated. With 612 sq ft, along with an additional 64 sq ft enclosed porch, and outdoor space, you’ll find plenty of room to relax with your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. We can accommodate up to 4 people, but all guests must be named in the reservation prior to checkin. The master bedroom has a queen bed, the 2nd bedroom is a full size bed. The house is set up with a whole-house water filter, a blue-tooth speaker to stream music to, the kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, gas range, refrigerator, tea kettle, coffee pot and coffee center, microwave, dishes, glassware, silverware, and a few basic spices. We have supplied bottled water and coffee to get you started, towels and bed linens and toilet paper, as well as shared shampoo/conditioner and soap. You'll also find a hair dryer and iron for your use and even an acoustic guitar that you're welcome to play! It may need tuning... There are 21 stairs up to the house and 3 additional stairs up to the front porch which doesn't provide for handicapped accessibility. Please be sure you are physically fit to climb the the stairs with your belongings. Our stairs are lit at night with the flip of a switch at the top or bottom. As in most of Bisbee, there are uneven walkway surfaces so please watch your step! We have off-street parking on the property, which is almost unheard of in Old Bisbee and there is also ample street parking available as well. This is our home as well, but have tried to keep our personal items to a minimum as we want your stay to be the most relaxing and enjoyable it can be. We do have some artwork pieces created by local artists, so if you like what you see we'd be happy to help you connect to see more of what they have to offer. We do not recommend the property for children under 12 for safety reasons due to stairs without a gate, large drop offs that are not fenced and cactus throughout the landscaping. At this time we aren't accepting pets in order to keep the space as allergy-free as possible, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We have recently listed the property for sale, and I am a licensed realtor in Arizona, so if you like staying here, you’ll love living here! Please feel free to contact me with questions and for a full tour of the complete property.
We're located across the canyon from Garfield Park and easy on/off access to the highway. Just a little over 1.4 miles into downtown Old Bisbee Historic District, you can easily walk or drive down the canyon for a slice of pizza, a locally roasted cup of coffee or an ice cold local brew all while on your way to the many activities and events that historic Bisbee has to offer.
  • This bungalow is perfect for a quick stay in lovely Bisbee! Two comfortable and clean bedrooms, plus a pullout couch. I especially loved the screened porch, excellent for sitting out on a cool night and watching the cars go by.

    Adana2019-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • The rare actual 2 bedroom is Bisbee. In a nice spot if you want a relaxing, quiet experience and just a short taxi ride (golf cart) to town. Worked out great for us and the house is very nice with old wood floors and lots of original touches. Perfect for a group of 3 or 4.

    Patrick2019-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful home, convenient location, and highly communicative and helpful hostess. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming again. The queen bed is a very soft bed. The pans and utensils in the kitchen were high quality. The sitting room front patio is particularly lovely in the mornings.

    Jaimie2019-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • The house is very clean and charming, good location. We greatly enjoyed our visit to the area.

    James2019-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • A cute and authentic place to stay. Bisbee is an old mining town with a bustling tourism business. Debra’s place captures the old-timey charm of the town. Debra is a thoughtful host - providing timely communication and tips for your visit to Bisbee!

    Nora2019-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • If you haven't booked here, do so now. This place is tidy, cozy, cool and very clean. Upon arrival, we easily got into the cottage. The furnishings are a bit eclectic, but so suitable. Beds are comfortable, and the quiet ceiling fans do a great job in addition to a seemingly new air conditioner. We enjoyed the place, including some wonderful coffee/tea offerings and some unusually-scented shower soaps. It would be a bit of a hike up a few big steps, so not recommended for the aged, and certainly never bring pets or children. It works well for 3-4 people, and for two, it would be perfect. Bisbee is such a fun friendly, little town, that everyone in AZ should visit it for a day or two. Happy travels!

    Monica2019-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was fantastic! Debra prepped the home with fresh air, pillows and clean sheets in to welcome us upon our arrival. It was bright, clean, and tastefully decorated. When I reached out for clarification she communicated quickly making sure we had what we needed. You will enjoy your stay in this charming home in Bisbee. I highly recommend it.

A beautiful 1400+ sq ft home with stunning mountain views. Once "The Top" cafe, this restored adobe is located on 55 acres and is a perfect place to view the stars, take a day hike, or in 5 minutes you're in Historic Old Bisbee to shop or dine out.
There's plenty of outdoor space to sit and enjoy, the side yard has some shade, let your dog play in the fenced in area, grill on the patio etc. The home is open concept, (the only doors inside are to the bathrooms). There are 2 beds/sleeping areas; one is a sofa air bed that folds out of sofa in the common area off the kitchen. The other bed is a queen size & adjustable for your comfort located on the other side of the house off the living room. Each sleeping area is located next to a bathroom. There is plenty of seating and dining space. Two bathrooms, one with stand up shower and the other has a shower and small tub.
The house is conveniently located minutes from highway 80. Easy access near the main road in between the beautiful Mule mountains. Often walkers and cyclists pass by. Downtown Old Bisbee is minutes down the road. It is roughly about 15 minute drive to the nearest grocery store and about 25 minute drive to the boarder of Mexico.
  • Great place! So close to town without being in it. Very peaceful and beautiful with great hiking right out your door.

  • Doreen we loved your home. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

    Dawn2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • This was a really lovely place to stay, Doreen was very accommodating and her dogs were very friendly (but if you don't like dogs then it's ok as they are held back by fencing). The place is a little too far to walk (about 25 mins into town) but the location makes up for that- it's a great place to stargaze on a clear night and it's nice and quiet. The place was much larger than the photos make out and there are lots of amenities in the kitchen.

    Bethan2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome house, great host. Perfect place for a family visiting bisbee

    Philip2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Much larger than I realized. Stunning property and great accomodations. A little bit out of town and that was nice. Would highly recommend. The dogs on the property were very friendly. The pups are fenced out of the yard so they don't bother you or your dogs if you don't want them to. Very dog friendly place but also sparkling clean.

    Morgan2019-11-16T00:00:00Z

  • My wife and I use AirBnB for many of our vacations and Mari's home is not only beautiful but what a wonderful location to visit the Arizona High Desert!

    William2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • What a fun place! We enjoyed our time at Mari's place - she provides many thoughtful touches from Peet's coffee, to breakfast biscotti, to Kleenex in pretty much every room! The bedroom and living areas are cozy and comfortable and we enjoyed the pellet stove in the evenings. The kitchen has everything you need to have meals in, and the home is easily accessible from Highway 90. Great location for access to the hiking this area has to offer. Mari responds quickly to questions and ensures that you know what to expect before you arrive. We would stay here again.

    Debra2019-12-18T00:00:00Z
  • This place was so amazing! Very different and so Arizonan! We had an amazing time and Mari and her husband were absolutely great!

  • The Dome is a MUST if you’re in the Sierra Vista, Hereford, Bisbee area. It is literally in the foothills of the Huachucas and less than a few miles from several trail heads. The space is like none other and is full of thoughtful touches. The weather was oddly super bad with high wind and rain while I was visiting and Mari checked up on me to make sure everything was OK. It’s a little close to the highway but the bamboo and insulation make you feel like you’re in another world.

  • The drive out to RRGR was amazing. We arrived to a stunning view of the mountains. I then walked the property which is so well done and where you can have quiet time. The grounds were perfect. The house was also done with TLC. The children enjoyed finding the treasure chest full of toys for them to play with. The hot tub was incredible. I had a Mimosa with a free bottle of Prosecco from the previous guests and watched the stars as I relaxed in the hot tub. There were massaging jets along your balk and calves. We fed the birds and saw the chickens, ducks, rabbit and the wild life around the ranch. The night sky was a sight to see. We could see the Milky Way and the constellations clearly. The mornings I would have to say was the best part. The majestic view was truly a blessing from God. Thank you for an amazing few days.

  • Awesome cozy place to stay near the canyons while visiting the fort or Sierra Vista. Erica and her family are amazing! I can’t thank them enough for hosting me.

  • This family provided outstanding hospitality and was quick to offer help - whether that be advice on the local sights or loaning their personal equipment to help a friend in need. Especially for the price; highly recommended stay in beautiful Southern AZ!

  • Erica and her family are great hosts. I arrived two days before Thanksgiving and they invited me to join them at their friends on Thanksgiving day for a feast. Ernie is a great conversationalist. Their daughter Ava is very sweet. The room is plenty large and well kept.

  • Great space. Relaxing. Enjoyed socializing, Reiki & Massage session, even made me a birthday dinner. Sweet family.

You will love my place for the same reasons I do. It is peaceful and simplistic. The town of Bisbee is inspirational, I am at my creative best when I am there. Hopefully you will be too.
The home was originally built in 1915. It is rumored to be a Sears kit house. The home is about 980 sf and is located on the main drag of Bisbee with private off street parking. Three steps up and you are standing on the veranda complete with outdoor furniture, two chairs, coffee table and a love seat. The spacious living room features the original hardwood floors and a beautiful gas fireplace that keeps the home cozy on cold nights. The two bedrooms are nicely appointed with very comfortable queen sized beds, cotton sheets, pillows, blankets and comforters To make your sleep restful and comfortable. The bathroom has a walk in shower with excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. The eat in kitchen is complete with a full size gas stove and refrigerator. For your convenience there is also a microwave, coffee maker, pots, pans, barware, dishes, kitchen gadgets and flatware. The home has a mini split system which provides heating and air conditioning for the entire home. Each room has it's own control. The home has a "Smart TV" and a ROKU. This enables you to watch Netflix, Amazon, and other channels. The house does not have cable or satellite television. I have a great deal of pride in my rental and I am always adding to the list to make your stay more enjoyable. There is also a washer and dryer in the home that would be made available to someone that would want to rent as an extended stay guest. Elizabeth
The neighborhood is very friendly and safe. The house is right on Tombstone Canyon.
  • I highly recommend Elizabeth’s place. Exceeded expectations and close to Old Bisbee and all it’s attractions.

    Maryan2020-03-09T00:00:00Z

    Anne2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Home was very nice and clean. Comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, not to far from town, walkable if you have the time. Check in was easy, nice to have a place to park off the street.

    Michelle2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, comfy home, extremely clean and functional. Will stay here again!

  • My brother and I stayed for two nights, and we just loved this cozy home. Definitely worth the fee. Perfect location. Clean and cute!

    Marie2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • The house was above the center of Bisbee, but was well within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The area was quiet and the house has wonderful charm! It was everything we were looking for during our stay in Bisbee. We highly reccomend Elizabeth and her home for any future stays!

This house is close to restaurants and dining, nightlife, public transport, and family-friendly activities. The property is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). Enjoy looking out the big picture window for bird watching or seeing the deer jumping in the back yard. Bisbee is full of art galleries, great restaurant and people watching. Events and holidays 175 a night. Bisbee 1000 3 night minimum stay and 200 a night
People like staying at this house for privacy and peaceful landscaping. The views from the deck is beautiful and calming.
Our neighbors are the Schoolhouse inn Bed and Breakfast and a wonderful food take out called Pace take out.
  • We live in a tiny bungalow in Bisbee, and rented the house for visitors. The huge great room with wonderful light from the many windows got a lot of use. Wish we'd had better weather to use the large deck and patio, but the Scrabble game got a good workout!

    Dan2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic space - private, comfortable, clean, bright, cool decor, well stocked kitchen, great local tips...will def return!

    Jonathan2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful location, just far enough from downtown to give you a sense of quiet and privacy. Very close to a park with a great play structure for kids. We loved lounging on the deck with a book and a cup of tea. The interior decor is welcoming and colorful - a nice combination of historic and modern. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, and dishes. We were also happy to find salt, pepper, and some basic spices. Highly recommend!

    Kathryn2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • The house is beautiful, with amazing views of the mountains. We loved the porch with the lounge chairs, the comfy living room couches, the cute bathroom, and all of the little touches. It is also conveniently only 1 mile from downtown Bisbee. This house is definitely worth it.

    Stacey2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • The house is lovely, colorful, and fun, and the views from inside and on the deck are spectacular. There’s a lot of funky Bisbee charm here, and a nice mixing of historic and modern, desert and Bohemian, in the decor. There were many nice extra touches, like a gas fireplace, cool artwork, and thoughtful small inclusions such as lap blankets for the deck, small appliances in the kitchen, and Ziploc bags in the kitchen drawer for storing leftovers. Although about a 30 minute walk uphill from the center of Old Bisbee, the Tombstone Canyon location is an easy 5 minute drive from the activities there and there are free (tips only) shuttles from the Bisbee Tour Company that are often available. Please be aware that there is a winding dirt path with a metal railing going up the hill and some sloped brick-paved walkways alternating with a total of 27 scattered steps of varying heights between the small covered carport and the front door of the house. Alma, the host, was available by messaging and there were nearby neighbors available in case we needed them, but no problems arose for us. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay here again, as well as recommend this property to friends.

  • Nice house, very well decorated and ideally placed to be both quiet and close to the activities of Bisbee. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, absolutely nothing is missing!

    Séverine2019-04-22T00:00:00Z
  • Adorable house! Perfect for small family! Great view and patio deck area for lounging. Had everything we needed & more. Rooms super comfortable. Everything very clean. There is also a cute little park right down the steps to keep kids busy. Perfect spot for exploring Bisbee and we took day trips to Karcher Caverns, Tombstone & Sierra Vista.

    Stephanie2019-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • We fell in love with Kristi’s adorable home! Literally everything you could possible need was provided. Best part for us was having a glass of wine in the evenings and a cup of coffee in the mornings on the huge deck with a fantastic Bisbee view...the house even had cozy patio blankets that were perfect for Bisbee’s chilly evenings. Another huge benefit was having easy, dedicated parking...a hard find in Old Bisbee! Kristi was also super responsive. We can’t wait for our next trip to Bisbee and the chance to enjoy Kristi’s Home and hospitality again!

Experience the rustic homestead ranch lifestyle! We also offer 2 Glamping Experiences so be sure to look them up. We will help you learn what ever you wish to know about our way of life! Hiking, bicycling, bird watching, and historical places to visit such as Tombstone and Bisbee nearby. Please read everything posted. We are very transparent about what you can expect on the ranch. We want your stay to be a memorable one,and attempt to give you all the information you need about our ranch!
ATTENTION: Important Information: If you have traveled outside the US in the past couple of months ( December 2019 until now) or are coming from an area within the US with confirmed cases of the Coronavirus, please contact us PRIOR to booking. We ask that you do not instant book! We are taking this outbreak of influenza very seriously and are doing everything necessary to protect the health of our guests and the safety of our Ranch! We hope that the health organizations can keep the spread of this virus from becoming a pandemic. We want to do our part no matter how small it is! We consider our guests part of the family so they may join us wherever we are. Note: It is a private room in our cabin that you are renting. You have access to the living room, kitchen and all the rest of the ranch is yours to enjoy! We are big on holidays here, so there is always something a little extra going on at those times. The summer holidays feature a cookout or a picnic. Labor Day weekend is an exception as we as either attend the Rodeo in Sonoita or pick and process prickly pears for juice if there is a decent crop. We need 48 hours notice that you will be here for the summer holiday meals! Thanksgiving thru Christmas are extra special with special home style activities on the ranch. We have a big Thanksgiving dinner every year, (weather permitting we have it outdoors) and for Christmas Eve there is an Italian dinner with a bonfire after with hot drinks and dessert to watch the skies for Santa Claus! No advanced notice needed for Thanksgiving and Christmas as those meals are prepared no matter what. IMPORTANT: Please no children under the age of 12. No exceptions! We do not have the ranch set up with a child safety plan or child safety equipment. Even the smallest of ranches have certain inherent dangers, and we want everyone visiting to be as safe as possible. Our cabin is very small, but very comfy and cozy! The front porch is used year around to relax, enjoy the views, and catch up on your reading or anything else you enjoy! We also have Gravity-free lounge chairs for sitting in the yard at night to lay back and enjoy the night skies. We also have a new telescope to enhance the stargazing experience! Look up our other listings, ThunderHorse Ranch, a Glamping experience #2 and Glamping #3 for a different nights rest.
We are considered "out in the country", but we do have neighbors close by. We do respect their right to privacy and space. The view from our homey front porch is beautiful and it is so relaxing to sit out there and enjoy the sunrises and sunsets! Perfect place to get some reading done. Every now and then the quail and roadrunners will entertain you with their antics. The night skies are exceptional, so if you are stargazer, you will find our nights to be nothing short of “heavenly”!
  • Second time staying here, and still amazing. Definitely a must stay for those who enjoy rustic.

  • LouAnn’s description of her home is very accurate. You are in the midst of a welcoming family, and a working ranch. My shots stay there was most enjoyable, and I would love to have the opportunity to return! Many thanks and all the best, LouAnn and Ray!

  • LouAnn, Anna and I are simply amazed by your beautiful place and warm hospitality. You and Ray are amazing people, we are so glad to have met the two of you. Throughout our whole stay we felt as if we were treated like family. Thanks for an unforgettable stay and see you later - we for sure will be back!

    Sean2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful stay on cozy ranch! I didn't get to spend as much time with the animals and on the ranch as I would have liked - I was visiting my Mom and hadn't seen her in many years, so I spent most of my time with her. LouAnn and Ray were great hosts whom I thoroughly enjoyed. The guest bed is fantastic with super cozy sheets and blankets, and an extremely comfortable mattress. Kinda wanted to stuff it in my suitcase :) The Guardian Dogs did bark through the night, but I found that comforting and homy as I have several dogs myself. The description is very accurate - if you enjoy a down-home lifestyle on a working ranch, this is the place for you!

    Laura2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • This Ranch was soooo much cuter than I originally thought! LouAnn has such cute decorations and taste. The bed was the comfiest bed I have slept in in awhile which has me rethinking my life decisions regarding my own. My friend and I came down for a last minute girl trip and we were both so pleased to have found this spot. The farm animals are the cutest but you don't know they are there at night. I would love a chance to stay in the tent another time, utilize the fire pit and partake in the fun dinners she talked about. We had a wonderful conversation with LouAnn. So friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend! Great experience!!

The Bisbee Adobe is close to the center of the city. You’ll love it because of the outdoors space and the ambiance. The Bisbee Adobe is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Guests love our balcony. We now have a new air conditioning/heating system throughout the apt.
Our decor is vintage, but you will probably spend most of your time out on our spacious balcony which is tucked under a huge oak tree and located back from the roadway.
  • Darlene's place was just as advertised....which was fantastic. It was perfect for a family of 4/5 with small kids. We wanted to be a bit up the road from downtown, so this worked out perfectly (though still close enough you could even walk if you wanted). We will definitely try to book again next time we visit. Thanks Darlene!

    Claudia2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Darlene’s place is such a gorgeous farmhouse style with a modern twist. We loved the patio where we sipped complimentary coffee. We arrived to a nice surprise: homemade cookies!! You could tell Darlene takes pride in her place and making sure guests feel comfortable while having a great time. It was a peaceful stay in a beautiful place at a great location close enough to all the action while also feeling remote enough to relax.

    Adrian2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • the combination was did the owners take great pride in the facilities. The muffins and gift card for a local store were an added bonus. We will definitely be staying here again.

  • The Adobe is a great apartment. There were 3 of us and 2 dogs, we all had plenty of space. The apartment is recently renovated and was beautifully done with nice little historic touches. The beds are really comfy. The porch is the best part; we visited Bisbee on a cool, rainy weekend and it was so nice to sit on the porch and just listen to the rain. The Adobe is easy to find. It is slightly more up-canyon than other rentals, but everything in Bisbee is just a walk away. We would gladly stay here any time.

  • We enjoyed this very much as a family the amenities were outstanding and the location was great, the porch was the best place to drink coffee and and relax. Very clean and comfortable. We are looking forward to when we go back to staying there in the near future. The owners responses were quick and they were very kind and pleasant. We would recommend this place to anybody. Had so much fun in Bisbee. Thank you for letting us stay with you. Tim & Maria

ThunderHorse Glamping #3 is the newest of the Glamping tents, and quite large. It features a queen size bed, breakfast seating area, small dresser, thick shag carpeting, heating in the winter and fans in the summer. Well lit, WiFi and wonderful rustic decor. It is a tent though and so keep camping in mind with all that goes with it if you plan on booking this one! The months of December, January, February and even sometimes March can be quite cold. The heater takes the edge off but doesn’t warm like inside the cabin. The rest of the year makes for great outdoor sleeping! Please note we DO NOT allow any children under the age of 12! NO exceptions! We do not have the recommended safety features in place as suggested by Safe Kid Worldwide. This is an organization AirBnB affiliates its self with. Since this is a working ranch, the nights can get a little noisy and you will hear the Guardians bark from time to time as they protect their livestock from predators! • We had a fantastic time glamping at LouAnns ranch. The tent was spotless and comfortable. Although the animals were a little loud (full moon restlessness) we had a nice sleep. I would just suggest ear plugs or white noise if you are a light sleeper like me. Petting all the animals was icing on the cake. LouAnn was a fantastic host and made us feel right at home. Truly a gem!

The Gardens at Mile High Ranch is a bed and breakfast located in high-desert country with two acres of outdoor picnic areas, birds and wildlife. The Gardens is located only one mile from the Historic District of “Old Bisbee”, and we offer peaceful evenings, massage, colon therapy and an individual ozonated sauna is available (please make sure to call early for a service appointment). We have seven individual apartments, some with kitchens, cable tv, ac, wifi, children and pets are welcome.
Unit Six is a large apartment with a nice sized kitchen. Very comfortable for longer stays. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and a new queen pull out couch in the living room. Bisbee is 10 to 20 degrees cooler than Tucson and Phoenix because we are a mile high in altitude!
Very quiet neighborhood. Lots of birds and wildlife.
  • The accommodation is very nice and comfortable, with the basic things to have a quiet and relaxed stay. Communication is fast and friendly, with a great willingness to answer any questions. Totally recommended to enjoy Bisbee from the stay to what the city offers.
