This is a lovely casita in a quiet and beautiful home. The host is very kind and accommodating. I booked my stay last minute and Margarita went above and beyond to take care of my needs. The casita is gorgeous and reminds me of a castle. I highly recommend this airbnb for many reasons - wonderful host, quiet and relaxing atmosphere, comfortable space, and privacy. No need for hesitation about staying, you'll be happy you did!

Margarita is a wonderful hostess. She is kind and gracious. A pleasure to meet and work with. The casita is very quiet and private. It was much larger than I expected and lovely. The bed is very comfortable. The hot tub and back yard are beautiful and very relaxing. The location is fantastic. Close to restaurants, shopping and the horse show that I was competing at. It was perfect. Could not have asked for a better place to stay.

The place was just like the photos but even better because we were able to experience it physically. No expectations were let down. Margarita greeted us and kindly showed us around her home. She also introduced her sweet son and dog. During our stay we hardly ran into each other, she gave us privacy and texted us in between if we needed anything. Our stay at Margarita's was absolutely perfect!! It's a gated community and the whole neighborhood including her house is gorgeous! We were welcomed by Margarita right away and she showed us around the property which includes a pool/hot tub that is very clean,relaxing, and private. We will definitely stay here again when we have the chance!!!

Overall, great home and place. Love the secluded private quarters. It is very spacious! The pool is also great, but very cold in the winter. Jacuzzi heats in just 30 minutes though :). What would be great additions is a TV for the private room, and access to a stove/microwave to heat up food. Margarita and her family were very kind hosts! Looking forward to staying here again.

Julie's room was clean, very hospitable, high quality and had a friendly atmosphere. Julie thought of all the details, right down to the beautiful breakfast mugs!

First off, Julie is very accommodating with all schedules and plans. She is very friendly and will even serve you delicious pumpkin bread and Oj in the morning. She quickly replies and will make your stay as comforting as possible. Room is very clean and separate from the house which is an added bonus for privacy in and out of the home without worrying about disturbing the owners. Highly recommend

Julie is very warm and professional with regard to the rental of her detached guest room. It was very private and comfortable. Julie has thought of every overnight amenity, and more, that you could think of to be comfortable during your stay. The home is in a beautiful and safe neighborhood and the detatched room is secure within the the house itself. The location is near everything in Mission Viejo and Ladera, with convenient access to the Ortega Hwy and the I-5. I would definitely stay here again.

Brittany was very quick to respond at all times and helpful. Their home was very clean and neat and the perfect place for us and our 4 children. It was great for our 2 year old as well because it was so kid friendly.

We found the home to be absolutely beautiful; even better than the pictures could possibly show! However, there needed to be more communication from the owner regarding. Especially instructing how to operate the air-conditioners (necessary when temps are above 90!) and where to store our clothing (since the home was filled with the owners' belongings and there was no room or empty hangars in the closet). Due to this lack of communication we had to live out of our suitcases, and sleep with the doors and windows open because of the warm temperature in the master bedroom. However, we did not sleep very well at all, because right outside the master bedroom is the patio where the dog (and, the owner claims, wild animals) urinate, resulting in an extremely unpleasant odor permeating the master bedroom, keeping us awake. The worst part, however, was the incorrect information regarding the amenities... when we booked our reservation many months in advance, I contacted the owner to thank him in advance and to let him know how excited we were to use the neighborhood water park while visiting with our grandchildren! It was not until after we arrived and contacted the owner to find out where the water park was (because there was NO information regarding the neighborhood amenities left for us) that we were told the water park was no longer available to guests unless they were with the owner. He did NOT offer to assist with that, he merely explained that there were other locations with pools. We were glad to at least have a pool, but the reason we booked this location instead of many others was due to the water park, which was clearly listed in his advertisement as one of the amenities. Since he knew in advance that the water park was our main attraction, we should have been notified in advance and offered the opportunity to cancel; which we would have!

We loved our accommodation. The house was larger than it appeared in the pictures and the decor was wonderful. The layout makes it easy to be together for meals and drinks but also allows you to find that private corner when you just want to take a quiet minute to read or watch the sunset. While we did not get to meet Mathew, he was a gracious host who promptly responded to any of our questions both before our trip and during our stay. My sister and I loved it so much that we hope to be able to come back next year. Thank you Mat!

Great property to stay at.

Me and my family (4) recently stayed at Mathews in Ladera and had a very welcome and relaxing time. He' s good hosts who responds promptly and keeps in touch in case anything is needed. His home has many beautiful and high end amenities. The artwork and furniture made you feel as if you were in Dwell magazine article home. It wasn't too masculine or overly feminine which suited our entire family. We would all definitely return, thank you Mathew for allowing us time in your space. The Malones

Mat was very accommodating and his place was great!

This was my second time staying at Matt's home. I loved it this time just as much as I did the first. His home is exactly as pictured. What you can't see is the vibe. His home is very calming, peaceful and serene. Matt was very responsive before check in and during my stay. He also allowed me to check in early and leave late, which was greatly appreciated due to my work and travel schedule. It is about 30 mins from John Wayne Airport and about 20 mins to the beach. I would highly recommend Matt's home to anyone visiting the area.

This was our first stay at an Airbnb and it was as if I walked into my own home. I felt immediately comfortable and any worries about what the house or Sophie would be like was gone as soon as I was greeted by Her warm smile and personality. Soohies home is immaculate, tastefully decorated and very comfortable to either hang out and watch the enormous tv, read or work on your laptop. The community pool is a block away, and we loved walking through the neighborhood Paseos Every night. If you want a home away from home experience, Sofies Townhouse is my recommendation!! Not only did we enjoy our week at Sofies, but I met a new wonderful friend!!

Clarke has a beautiful and comfortable home in a very nice neighborhood. He was there to greet me when I arrived. The accommodations were exactly what was described. The proximity to the freeway and Laguna Beach was convenient, along with numerous eateries made it easy for me. The bonus was having his friendly dog around to keep me company. It was an absolutely wonderful Airbnb experience again.

We enjoyed our stay at Clarke's place and loved Ladera Ranch! The neighborhood is very family-friendly with lots to do locally (water park, pools, restaurants, walking paths, etc) and still close enough to CA's major attractions (the beach, Disney, Laguna) to make getting to them easy. My boys and I rented 2 adjoining bedrooms with private bath for a week, and it was perfect for our needs (two queen beds, jack n jill bathroom). Clarke provided full access to the kitchen for us which we used every morning before heading out for the day. We didn't see Clarke all that much since we were out and about, but he was very friendly and welcoming when we did cross paths. Clarke's dog is super friendly and, as far as my boys are concerned, was the best thing about our trip! Thanks for a wonderful stay in Ladera, Clarke!

Clarke was a wonderful host who showed us so much hospitality. He has such a beautiful and he keeps everything in his home very clean! Clarke was kind enough to let us use his kitchen and grill, and he even set up grilling supplies for us knowing we were using the grill at night. He was a very thoughtful host who made sure we had what we needed and made us feel welcome. His dog was just as sweet and welcoming! The location was exactly what we were looking for, in a private & quiet neighborhood within easy driving distance of the best beaches and (URL HIDDEN) a fraction of the cost! Julia had great "insider information" for us regarding what do do and where to go and was a welcoming and gracious host. The room and private entrance were exactly as described and just what we were looking for! She even made us coffee and blueberry coffeecake on our last morning before our early am departure for the airport. We couldnt be happier with our first Airbnb experience!

Julia was very friendly and helpful. She even made herself available to us on Thanksgiving Day. The room was clean, comfortable and a great value. Even our 17 month old was able to sleep through the night, which is a miracle in itself. We will definitely be back!

Julia's place was just as described, a separate room with a bath & a private entrance. Her heater stopped working, but she provided a space heater that worked wonderfully. She was VERY accommodating with my schedule & meeting me/ oriented me to the workings of the door lock, heater, supplies, etc. The area is within walking distance of casual restaurants (1/4-1/2 mi.). My dinner was at a Mediterranean food restaurant, which was not cheap, but not exorbitant. Food was excellent. I had a class @ Mission Hospital, which was also very closeby. I could have walked, but to save time I drove. Her "casita" was immaculately clean & she provided toiletries also. I would definitely stay here again.

My experience staying in Julia's private Casita was simply fantasic. Julia was polite, accommodating, and very sweet. The room was everything we needed. It had the space and comfort that I was seeking. The bed and the private bathroom allowed us to be very comfortable and the privacy we were looking for. Julia was in fact more than gracious by offering us breakfast and drinks(URL HIDDEN)would 100% stay here again and recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quite, private, and cozy 1 bedroom stay away from home. There is no live in host, the entire house is Air bnb, therefore you have to just accept the other guest behavior. There is a quiet time reflected in description, however both nights other house guests where watching TV in living area loudly past midnight. I was new to Airbnb, and didn't think the host could possibly just not be there. The check in and out process is painless, just be aware that you may have to enforce house rules yourself, something I am unwilling to do.

Close to the freeway and mall. Easy access to the house and great communication.

Everything at Terri's was as advertised. Would stay there again.

Deborah's place is a nice getaway space and was perfect for our wedding day plans. The house is clean, chic, and was great for the "getting ready" pictures on the day of. It was also so nice to return to after a 15-hour day of chaos. Deborah was extremely gracious to allow us to take the photos of her home and have our groomsmen come over to get ready. Great place to stay for a few nights. If you have a bug phobia, this place is not for you. The bathroom has a few critters crawling around. They came in through the baseboards and there was a hole where the wall meets the ceiling that I saw a few go through. Other than that it's a great cheap place to stay.

Unfortunately there was a domestic dispute between two of the other long-term residents at this location. I did not feel safe and had to leave late in the evening. Terri was unreachable and out of the country. Her neighbor was managing the business and is reimbursing me for the incident, but I have yet to receive a check in the mail.

I stayed at Terri's place for just 1 day. The place is very peaceful and Terri was also a very good host. I would recommend Terri's place.

Highly recommended! I would definitely come back. Terri was an awesome host, even though I did not get the chance to meet her. What a bummer because the other reviewers said that she is a great, friendly, and funny person to have a conversation with. : ) I was essentially only at the location to do some late night computer work, shower, and sleep. I was in town attending a conference. The room that I stayed at was clean and comfortable. Bath + Hand towels were provided. Wifi was fast and reliable. Bathroom and shower were stocked. Terri gives you access to the kitchen! Alas, I did not use it during my stay.

This townhouse was beautiful and amazing. It was just right for our family. I think it was more child proofed then our home. Lol. Ariel always responded quickly. It was in a nice quiet neighborhood. The neighbors were exceptionally nice. We really enjoyed ourselves there. Hope to come back again. :) ♡

The home was perfect. Everything was clean and neat. Honestly, no complaints from us. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything was perfect.

James was pretty accessible before and during our visit. The house was great for kids, since it had plenty of toys and was pretty child-friendly. The neighborhood felt very safe and was close to shops and restaurants. Not too far from the beach. James left a pass for us to use the community pools, which was a hit with the kids. The clubhouse pool was very nice and probably a lot less crowded than a hotel pool would have been. The house seemed clean enough, so no complaints there! Overall, a good experience.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The description of the house was accurate so we knew what to expect. The house was clean and very inviting. The neighborhood was quiet and safe with a grocery store close by. James made sure he was reachable in case we had any questions.

Nice place to stay. My daughter was able to sleep in the second bedroom, and there were many toys in the house that James let her play with. It was great to have a toddler-proof house, as it made us feel safer. Also being able to park in the garage was a plus for us, as we were also able to charge our car while we slept there.

This is a huge house with tons of room for a couple and there kids. Adult groups might find it enjoyable if you don't have lots of cars. Limited parking. Perfect for group of friends that want to stay together. The area is very nice with lots of shopping around.

Amazing home!

Excellent communication from property management, home is visually stunning inside and out. The evening sunset is amazing. We were a party of 12, ages 11-60. There was plenty of comfortable space inside and outside to relax and enjoy the sights. Property is close to many So Cal beaches.

Nemo was extremely friendly, responsive, and detailed in our communications. His property managers, Kevin and Marjan were extremely helpful and just one phone call away with anything we needed. This place is just as described and everyone was willing to go above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Nemo and his team were able to provide the vacation I'd wanted for years and had never been able to find. I'm going to always look back at this vacation as one of the best I've ever had! I had several days at the Ladera House, and the experience was a stunning combination of luxury, amenities, privacy, and (only when you want it) the help of a courteous and efficient staff. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood with excellent security, but the view from the backyard also makes you feel as if you are in a private haven. If you enjoy water, the pool is heated and so can be enjoyed at any time of the day. I would recommend this spot for anyone looking for a beautiful, quiet getaway. There are plenty of shops nearby and several eateries, but the highlight is the peacefulness of the property.

This is the best house I ever stayed in off airbnb. Nemo and his team was top notch and took extremely good care of me and my people. This place is spectacular with beautiful views and just has an amazing vibe. I recommend everyone to try this house you will just fall in love.
