Centrally located at the heart of the famous Orewa beach in the Hibiscus Coast of North Auckland region, 200m distance from the surf beach and 350m from the entrance of the 8km estuary walk/cycle way. The shops, supermarkets , cafes, restaurants/bars, take aways and fast foods are 1km walk. Included in your stay is the unlimited use of canoes and paddle boards- life jackets provided. We only offer a quiet , comfortable room to stay in - Parties, visitors and binge drinking are not allowed.

The Potting Shed

The Potting Shed is part of The Grey House circa 1904, 129 Ridge Road, Scotts Landing on the edge of the Mahurangi River. The space was house potting shed and laundry and has now been repurposed to create a magical memorable space with singles and couples in mind to have space to relax and get away from noise and day to day pressures. Located 20 minutes from the Matakana and gateway to Omaha, Goat Island, surrounding vineyards and galleries. Please note access to a loft bed is by ladder.

Views and convenience at Snells Beach.

Our space is great for travellers who enjoy wineries, cafes, beaches, walks, a boutique cinema, Matakana market on Saturdays, Morris and James pottery and the variety of places to visit and explore within easy distance. Nearby is the ferry for a day at Kawau Island. The downstairs studio is private but we are close by and pleased to help and chat if you choose. Warkworth has large grocery stores and shopping but we have an adequate shopping centre and local pub within walking distance.

Sun Trap Apartment, Snells Beach

Your own private self-contained 2 bedroom apartment with own entry access, parking and large deck area with fabulous views across the bay to Kawau Island. It is on the lower level of our home but fully independent from the main house and we are mindful and considerate of your presence. The space is open plan with a lounge, kitchenette and dining, seperate bathroom and 2 bedrooms, one single and one queen. There is one induction cooktop, a microwave, toaster, jug and teas and coffee. 

Te Muri Ridge Luxury Retreat

The Te Muri Ridge experience offers you secluded and peaceful surrounds, relax and enjoy the serenity of a beautiful rural and coastal setting on our 56 ha property. Our Barn apartment offers contemporary luxury accommodation with rural and sea views within close proximity to Auckland CBD and on the perimeter of Mahurangi Regional Park. Being a 200 meter short walk to the Silverdale shopping centre, many local restaurants and cafes, and all other facilities makes this an ideal location for a traveller to rest and recoup. You may also get out to explore Millwater, Stanmore Bay, the Silverdale Village and activities of Orewa beach.
