This is a stylish nicely run and maintained place in a great location - Meanwood is a very up and coming bit of Leeds. Charli was a great and very responsive host.

Staying at Charli’s was everything we needed it to be, a great location will it being a 10 minute taxi from Leeds City Centre. The loft itself was perfect as we needed a place to sleep and get ready, there was a kettle, microwave and fridge which was handy. Towels were provided with shower gel packets. Checking in was really easy to do and all information given was spot on! Charli was really helpful on the day of checking in and the day we checked out sent a nice message as well. Would highly recommend this place to anyone :)

The Sky Loft is in a great location, close to all amenities, some lovely bars and restaurants near by and the hosts were really helpful in pointing out some good local eateries. The apartment was nice and clean and very quiet, plenty of off street parking and a very easy check in process, the instructions provided were excellent. Would thoroughly reccommend.

I was visiting old uni mates in Headingley, and Charli's place proved ideal for my weekend visit. It is well located - near a big Waitrose and a couple of excellent coffee/ brunch spots - and I really enjoyed the convenience of being able to check-in and out via the lockbox system. Charli is really quick to respond to any messages. I found the place to be clean, good value for money, and a lovely set-up (the novelty of the mezzanine balcony was super). Wonderful, too, to be able to look out onto the river. Thank you :)

The River Base is definitely something special. Located in the rising Meanwood neighbourhood close to nice bars, cafés and a great supermarket, it is right next door of the best Indian take out, I've ever ordered from! Although in the city, the Meanwood beck trail leads you trough a natural hike that makes you think you are in the middle of a forest and the River Base offers a loft view right on the beck itself. If you need to go downtown, buses are within walking distances, it takes you 20 minutes in total tops (and mostly they come with USB charge and Wifi!) Charli is a great host, too and answers within minutes anytime. We stayed there for a couple of weeks and extended. That should say everything.

Tall windows bring in lots of light, making the loft a bright and cosy space, right on the river. Good quality stuff inside too. Well located near to Meanwood's bars, cafes, and supermarket. It is also right in Meanwood Valley, so you can walk almost the entire way to the city through greenery.

Amir´s room has a lot of space, and the house was in perfect condition. He accepted a change in my reserve with no problems. I totally recommend his place if you want to stay in Leeds for a few days.

The room is a good size, extremely clean and cozy. The location of the house is good, it is a 20 min walk from Headingley where there are restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. A few steps from the house there is a bus stop that takes you directly to the city center. The only consideration is WiFi, since there is not always a signal Dean's attention was very kind. Tony is a lovely, understanding and caring host that had no issues with last minute changes to my booking and was so flexible. Genuinely lovely guy and it’s just a shame I never met his partner who I’m sure would be equally as welcoming. Rocco is an adorable dog who just wanted to play and show me all his toys. Recommend this place to any dog person! The room itself was nice and cozy. Size wasn’t too big or too small, just perfect for a night or two for two people. There’s a wardrobe and storage, and the room was always nice and warm despite the cold autumn frost. Would stay here again for sure, highly recommend to anyone looking to stay with some genuine, nice people in a clean and homely place.

A lovely flat in very peaceful location - felt like you were in the heart of the country but only a short walk to the pubs/restaurants of Headingley and Meanwood and the Meanwood Valley trail. It was my second time in this lovely cosy and really unique apartment, set in wonderfully quiet surroundings. It has everything you could possibly need and more but doesn’t at all feel crowded. I’d recommend it to everyone.

Perfect host

Chipo will welcome you with a smile and make you feel at home all throughout your stay at her place. She's refurbishing the house to make it even more comfortable for her guests. I would definitely recommend my friends to stay at Chipo's. The bed is very comfortable and the bathrooms have been refurbished recently, so they are immaculate. The neighbourhood looks quite quiet and there are a few shops and restaurants just a few minutes away.

Elizabeth's place was ideal for us - 3 adults visiting a friend for her birthday. The rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable and the communication was great. Check in is clear & easy. As highlighted in the listing the stairs are steep, which is typical of the houses in area. Definitely recommended & we will stay again if visiting Leeds again.

Wonderful, clean and cozy flat just outside of the centre of town. Waitrose is within short walking distance and the kitchen is fully stocked so you can cook a lovely breakfast at home. The beds were comfy and clean and the bathroom was nice with a bath and shower. Would highly recommend for a weekend trip!

The flat was near to my meeting, clean, tidy and a warm welcome. There’s lots of options for food (there’s a great Thai place about 5 minutes away, plus a Caribbean takeaway). Great value for money, I’ll look to see if it’s free next time I’m in Leeds.

Staying at Hanifa's place was fantastic. She is a cool friendly person. She met as host and became a friend. I had some great discussions about life and friendship over dinner and coffee with her. Also she took me out for drinks and dinner. She also lets you be by yourself in your space if you like that. In all, a perfect place for long or short term stays. Very clean and tidy and close to all amenties and just about 20 minutes walk to the university and 25 minutes to the city centre. Also, the Burley train station and bus stops a stones throw away. I will come back again in April.

Spacious attic room, very quiet. Bathroom was always available. Good wifi and Christine kept the lights on for my late nights.

The hospitality here is second to none, Tiggy made me feel right at home. It was the perfect base to commute to and from the university, with a wide variety of shops close by. I hope to stay again sometime.

I guess we were the first guests by John’s. I really loved the place. It’s a remote destination but very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. The house is extra clean and have a cosy interior. We were offered toasts and cereal for breakfast, tea and coffee. The bed and sofa comfortable. Duvet warm. Netflix available. I’m very pleased with John’s offer. A total recommendation.

Awesome stay! We were very impressed. As John's first Airbnb guests, we are delighted to have all kinds of nice things to say. Parking was no problem and check-in was super easy since there's a lockbox. We entered a clean and spotless home. We really appreciated that he had the heat on as it was quite chilly outside. He was thoughtful to provide us with an extra blanket as well (although we didn't need it). The kitchen is well-equipped and we were able to easily make dinner and enjoy it at his dinner table. The internet was super fast and reliable. There were two mirrors in the bedroom which I like for getting ready in the morning. The shower was great and the bathroom, like the rest of the house, spotless. The room was spacious and we easily felt right at home. We got a chance to talk with John and he is friendly and welcoming. He is also very quiet. We slept right through him leaving for work! Highly recommend staying here. Incredible value!

Yvette and Kevin's place is a great choice to live around leeds. In a very good area where you can find everything while you can be in leeds centre in a couple of minutes. The hosts are exellent and the place just has everything you may need.

Great room and accommodating and friendly hosts

I am a 2nd year student at Leeds who stayed with Yvette & Kevin for my first term for about 3 months and it was perfect. I was able to be independent, whilst still having the company of the hosts and other Airbnb guests, in a safe environment. The area was perfect, with a 5 minute walk right into Headingley centre, holding a great selection of shops/restaurants and bars. Once you’re in the centre of Headingley, you can catch a 15 minute bus ride straight into the city centre. The buses are quick and you’re never waiting too long. At Kevin & Yvette’s Airbnb you have your own space and it is nothing but peaceful and quiet & I was never cold! The facilities available there are great and if you ever had a problem, Kevin & Yvette are there to help/assist you with advice. They are wonderful hosts who are experienced with Airbnb so they know what they’re doing! As a young student, I was concerned about being on own with guests I had never met beforehand, however once I was settled, the other guests whilst I stayed were very friendly and great to get along with. I even made a friend who I still keep in contact with so it’s nice meeting people from all over the place! I would highly recommend their place to anyone. (Not about this place specifically, but little side note as a student to a fellow student, Airbnb is a great alternative to student halls/flats if you’re by yourself and don’t fancy those choices, (Airbnb didn’t even cross my mind until a few weeks before I booked!) But especially students like me who are independent, quiet and to themselves, who needed a place last minute that was affordable, Airbnb is a good alternative. Some places don’t offer long term but there are loads out there not just in Leeds!)

Kevin and yvettes place is a wonderful place to stay in Leeds !

Yvette and Kevin's house is a lovely area surrounded by trees in a very quiet neighborhood just 5 minutes walk from a street with really nice places to eat, as the restaurant Signature. If you have time and like jogging, it's a perfect location with an atmosphere of the countryside despite its urban area just 15 minutes distant from Leeds University, which was very convenient for me. The room is large than I thought. A comfy bed and duvet plus a kettle (tea and coffee for the guests). I shared a toilet but still felt a lot of privacy in the top floor. I did appreciate the easy and fast communication with Yvette and Kevin.

Yvette and Kevin's place was perfect for what I needed; room was great, very comfy bed and walking distance from lots of great places to eat. They were both so friendly and helpful, I was able to park on their drive and Kevin spent time to explain where the best places to eat are and even where to go for my run. I couldn't recommend their place more. Thank you for a lovely stay, I hope to be back!

Spacious, safe and quiet spot in Meanwood, close enough for a drive into the city or Headingley and with plenty of restaurants/bars/stores nearby. Christopher and Michelle were great hosts, we met at the apartment to retrieve the keys and were provided a walkthrough. The apartment was exceptionally clean, and with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms it was more than enough space for my family of four (with an infant and toddler). Christopher and Michelle were immediately responsive with correspondence. I would stay here again.

We found Christopher’s apartment to be beautifully clean and tidy. The beds were really comfortable and it’s a very quiet area so we all slept well. I stayed at Bradie's place for one week while looking for a flat in Leeds. Bradie is a very generous, friendly, open minded and humorous person who made my stay at her place be a very good experience. The only small minus is that the mattress is a bit saggy.

Abbas is a very nice man, he always help me to solve any problems and he’s always kind to me . Also the room is good here, I really enjoy this trip.

The place is close to the university of leeds and a 20min bus ride to the city center. Abbas is a good host even allowing me to check in early. Enjoyed my stay.

I enjoyed my stay very much. It was very cosy and warm place. Quiet neighbourhood and with a hiking trail just outside the building. Very close to a big supermarket.

Cozy and clean little studio that has everything you need. It is very light during the day because of the many windows, but the room has excellent blinds. The stream next to the window makes it very peaceful. Perfect for a solo traveller, highly recommended!

My stay at Charlis was wonderful, beautiful little space, amazing what they done with the space. Only tiny down fall is no central heating so using an electric heater, so can get cold in some places but really cool place with amazing hosts.

I spent 17 days in the White Suit and everything was perfect. Meanwood is a lovely and quiete location, not too far from the University of Leeds and from the city center. The apartment is nice and clean, with all the comforts available. Charlie was really kind and always answered very quicky to the messages. I highly recommend it, especially for single stay.

A nice apartment in Meanwood village, just 20 minutes from Leeds centre by bus or 10 minutes in an Uber. It's a small space, but the space is well used. Perfect for a couple or single person for a few days. Check in was straightforward and the host communicated promptly and was happy to give local advice. We would recommend a visit to the Cottage Road theatre which is a 15 minute walk over to Far Headingly.

I stayed here while looking for flats to rent in Leeds. I actually really came to like the area and have decided to rent a flat nearby! Charli's place has everything you need for a short stay. It has a microwave, a good-sized fridge, kettle and toaster. Towels were provided and I liked the additional touches like sachets of milk and biscuits, a hairdryer and a nice table setup with cutlery and plates. The room is at the top of a large house, but I didn't hear any noise from other tenants or outside. There are lots of codes to get up to the room, but you get used to it (I just had them stored in my notes app). As someone else has mentioned, this is not suitable for anyone who doesn't get on with stairs, and the area is also quite hilly. It did get warm at night but a fan was provided, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, Charli was really helpful and responsive and I would stay here again.

Great location, as its close to the city centre. May not be accessible to those with mobility issues especially with regards to people that have difficulty climbing stairs. Communication with the host was prompt and efficient. Also the Amenities were satisfactory. Its also close to the trail so if you would like a run you have a great trail. The walk to Headingley is about 15 minutes and quite scenic to some degree.

Compact, clean and very convenient room. Very secure access arrangements , clear booking in instructions provided by host. Useful amenities nearby including supermarket. Good public transport ( bus ) for travel into city centre. Top floor studio apartment , light and airy.

Spotless, compact studio in quiet location but close to main amenities. Loft conversion means plenty of stairs but that keeps you fit! Small number of bars and cafes within two minutes walk as well as Waitrose and Aldi for the essentials. 15 minutes walk from Headingley so handy for cricket and RL.

Really nice little studio in a great location to walk into Headingley or a short bus journey into town. The fact I could park for free was a great bonus!

Elizabeth is a fantastic host, very accommodating. The house a beautiful and clean and the amenities provided were lovely. Will happily be our first choice of stay the next time we are visiting Leeds.

We stayed in Charli’s maisonette for three nights on very short notice. He got back to us within minutes to confirm our request to stay which was a life saver! The flat was clean and tidy when we arrived although my perception from the photos may have suggested it was bigger. For two people it was comfortable and there’s a lovely bedroom and bathroom. When the road is quiet you can hear the lovely Meanwood beck (stream) while you sleep. We stayed through a cold snap so the heaters were on when we were home and thankfully a couple of blankets were provided. Thanks Charli we’ll be back!

A cozy little apartment with everything you need. Close to some nice local restaurants and Waitrose.

Everything you need for a short break. Easy to park outside and a quick walk to Waitrose, Aldi and other shops. Ubers are so cheap and turned up in minutes. Fab way to get around

My girlfriend and I returned to leeds (we graduated about 2 years ago) for a weekend to visit friends Neither of us had lived any further out than headingley but this location is absolutely brilliant - plenty of shops and nice cafes literally a 3/4 minute walk away and so close to headingley too (a £3 taxi or 15 min walk). House was spotless, had everything you need and not more! - perfect because there was no clutter at all. I’ve been back lots of times since graduating but this was by far the best value and way to do it. Host was great with prompt replies too, will certainly be back.
