Angela's was the best Airbnb experience I've ever had! Her place was cozy and ideal. She's the sweetest woman, and she brought by delicious homemade Greek food twice during my stay. There are geese, ducks, and a couple of cats that hang out near the creek at the cabin, which is really cool. I'd definitely stay at Angela's again.

Angela gave us a very friendly welcome with the best moussaka. She met us the village bakery and led us on a very short drive to the property, which matched the description and photographs. We were in the lower property which had more space and was very secluded and benefited from more shade. It was well located for visiting both the north and less developed south coast.

We felt immediately at home after the heartwarming welcome of Angela, and were stunned about this little paradise near the murmuring river. From the house we strolled around in the surrounding villages and mountains. Every morning I walked up to the bakery for fresh bread, and every evening "our" 2 geese and 2 cats came asking for food. And of course we felt surprised by the homemade delicious moussaka, pasticio, cheese cookies, eggs..... Thanks a lot Angela! David & Ans

Angela's little paradise is the perfect place to relax and calm down! Located right next to a little river (you will see swans in the morning), the two cute little stonehouses offer all you need. The place was very clean, very quiet (we had no receiption at all) and romantic. As we were there during automn, it got a bit breezy at night, so don't forget a warm pyjama ;) Angela is a very lovely lady, she was very warm and welcoming. And she makes the best mousaka :)

A hidden gem in a green oasis - we felt we'd arrives in the Gardens of Babylon! Angela gave us a lovely warm welcome we felt very at home in her cosy little cottage. The perfect place to retreat and relax, and with an excellent bakery just 2 minutes' walk up the road!

Our stay in Villa Eligia was AWESOME! From the moment we arrived, Lena has been nothing else but wonderful ! She welcomed us with a big plate of home made cretan salad, fruits and olive oil from her own garden. First,when we saw her ad on airbnb we were a bit worried about the people cancelling their reservations and the only comment left. We asked Lena for more explanations and she directly answered with a clear one:she was new and did not manage to use the website very well. We had many questions afterwards and she immediately answered on the airbnb mailbox. Besides, she spent many days bringing us a new local product every morning. It was delicious! The house itself was even better than in the pictures and the spot just delightful! It is perfectly situated in the middle od many beautiful spots to visit: preveli monater and palm beach, psiloritis, spili village, 15min from Rethymno, agios pavlos... We enjoyed the pool, the barbecue area and the large dressing in the rooms. The kitchen is also very well furnished, we could even make a cake! Thank you Lena an your husband for the wonderful moments! We will be back for sure!

Lena was amazing from the moment we arrived to the day we left. She welcomed us to the villa with numerous platters of fresh fruit, Cretan Salad, fresh bread and home made Raki. She showed us around and made sure we were completely comfortable before she left. The villa is situated off the main road from Rethymno to Spili but due to the gated wall and numerous trees we rarely heard the traffic. The location was fabulous for accessing the amazing beaches on the south coast - most with a 15 to 30 minute drive through fabulous dramatic landscape. The villa itself is fabulous - spotlessly clean, airy and comfortable, with great facilities and everything you could need for a 2 week holiday. The outdoor area is particularly special - a beautiful pool, lovely green lawns and palm trees and a pizza oven and BBQ area that we made good use of - we rarely needed or wanted to leave! We had an amazing stay and Lena even came to say goodbye - we will miss Crete but it was definitely made more special by our stay in Lena's lovely villa.

Very beautiful property situated a bit off the beaten track, not in any wioseczce, which gave an excellent mood of isolation. The nearest close to the town of Spili is about 5 km., But the basic shopping for food (cheese, bread, honey can be purchased at the store away about 100 m. From the house. A possible drawback may be a common pool for two different groups living in the same time close himself lying twin homes. Besides, it is great.

Gina and Richard are the perfect hosts with their lovely dogs. The little village in the mountains is amazing. The breakfast was an extra of them and was really great. We really felt at home and the next time we definetly stay longer than one night.

We had a great stay at Gina's and Richard's place. The place was exactly what we were looking for. A nice and cosy place surrounded by nature. We enjoyed the calm of the village, the bit of conversation we had with our hosts, the dogs' company, the privacy, the terrace, the home-made brownies Gina had left us for breakfast... The room is spacious and cosy, there was everything we needed, towels, shampoo, shower gel, refreshments and coffee. The bed was comfy. We could park the car easily and Spili is just a few km away. I guess without a car it might be a bit more complicated. A lovely experience, thank you!

We ment to stay 5 nights in Gina's place. We left after 1 night. Nothing has been wrong with Gina. It just was not our type of place.

We can only mirror all the previous reviews. We had a super stay, we were picked up, taken for takeaway because the Kafenion owner was unwell, then dropped back to Spilli when we left because we did not have a car. We had life experience conversations and fun times with the many dogs. We can definitely recommend this place for anyone who loves animals and time with the hosts.

Staying at Gina's place in Mourné has been one of my best Airbnb experience ever. The restored country house is located in the hills of central Crete in a key position between Rethymno and Agia Galini and taking it as a base you can reach so many beautiful spots, most notable the beaches of the South (Preveli, Ligres, Triopetra etc) but also the hills and the Amari valley where you can easily find a lovely trekking to do. The house itself is simply perfect. I love this kind of ancient house where you can feel the vibes of the past, where the walls could tell stories and the atmosphere is so cozy. Gina was very welcoming and she was waiting for us together with her "happy family" composed of 4 dogs, the 3 "sisters" (puppies) and many cats. I love animals and for me it was a pleasure to spend time with them on the top terrace of the house or playing in the patio. Gina is so talkative and she really made us feel the love she has for this place and her decision to move to this beautiful island. The apartment for guests is incredibly cozy, it has two floors. On the ground floor there is a bedroom with a double bed and a single one. The mattresses are the most comfortable I've ever experienced in my life and we slept as babies. You have a private bathroom with shower and WC. On the basement a living room which we didn't use as it was spring time and we were always outside enjoying the beautiful weather. A basic breakfast is provided as you have coffee, tea, yoghurt, walnuts (from Gina's trees), honey and muesli at your disposal. We loved to have our breakfast on the terrace overviewing the calm and nice village of Mourné. Overall a place not-to-miss if you look for the authentic Crete and the calmness and quietness of its hills.

We had a very lovely time with Gina and Richard, they were very kind to us and we shared very nice moments with them and their sweet pack. The house is very beautiful, very clean, comfortable and had everything that we needed during our stay. The beds were really comfortable and the shower too, with amazing natural products. Breakfast was tasty and healthy with a great variety of English teas. We'd definitely recommend the experience to anyone willing to discover Crete while feeling at home. We spent two nights with Gina and Richard and all their animals! We had a lovely time and so did our pug. The house is beautiful and the room is done very well. We enjoyed the common area and hanging out with the hosts and their lovely dogs. Gina and Richard are really lovely people and made us feel very welcome and relaxed. We had a very, very good time in Crete. All the people were very nice and generous. The room was very big and we had lots of space. The view was magnificent. Can highly recommend it.

Magnificent. Spectacular. Wonderful. The maisonette is part of a set of luxury villas overlooking the mountains of central/southern Crete. The view was incredible, the maisonette was a blend of modern comfort and ancient stone vibe. You can tell that an architect and interior decorator had been at work here. We felt pampered. The value is off the charts. George was the perfect host (Olga was out of town). He helped us find the villas, he gave us excellent tips on where to eat and what places to visit. He spoke English well, and that helped because we can't speak Greek at all beyond Please and Thank You. The nearby village of Spili became our favorite town in Crete. It has enough taverna and restaurants to be interesting, nice shops (very little of the standard tourist tacky stuff), along with a good sized supermarket. It's also a great central hub for visiting southern beaches, the Palace of Phaistos, Rethymno, and Chania. We're considering coming back next year with more family. We loved it.

The flat is AMAZING. I'm in love with it, super secluded and located on top of a hill. I was really hesitant to book the flat cause I couldn't see the view picture of it but it has an epic view of a whole mountain area especially beautiful during sunset. They greet me with their own eco wine, and the next morning I got a breakfast cake that was so delicious. The closest town like located 7 mins away with all of the restaurants and markets. It is a perfect gateway location if you want to really relax and disconnect.

This is such a wonderful place to stay and the hosts are really friendly and helpful. What the photos don't show you are the absolutely breathtaking views and beautiful countryside surrounding this remote hillside apartment. You'll need a car, but it's perfectly located for exploring all over the island. I can't recommend this stylish and cosy (yet spacious) apartment enough.

Yiannis' apartment is simply fabulous. I came to get away from it all and I simply could not have chosen a better location. This apartment is calm and soothing and has the most wonderful views across the mountains - stunning sunsets every night. The apartment is every bit as nice as it look in the photos and was spotless. Eleni looked after my every need and was so kind with a bottle of organic wine waiting for me on arrival and a gift of the most delicious homemade apricot jam later during my stay. As other reviewers have said, you absolutely do need a car to stay here and there is so much to do and see locally - you are spoilt for choice with regard to the beautiful beaches of the south coast. All in all a wonderful holiday and a very warm reception from Yiannis and Eleni, and I would not hesitate to return.

Yiannis' place is absolutely lovely. We even extended our stay because we liked it so much. It is very nicely designed and extremely spacious. His family are architects and that's really apparent from the moment you enter the apartment. It sits under two beautiful villas (which are very secluded in themselves) but it still feels very private. The apartment is situated in a stunning mountain location and you wake up each morning to breathtaking scenery. It's also a very good base for visiting the nearby beaches, there are lots within 20/30 minutes drive. Some recommendations are Triopetra, Ligres and Ammoudi (if you like quiet beaches and nice tavernas!). I should also say that Yiannis is a great host. He was very quick to respond to any questions, had lots of recommendations and was happy to help with anything. The apartment is also impeccably clean and tidy and there are facilities for staying in and cooking if you choose to. I can honestly say this is one of the best holidays I've had and would highly recommend Yiannis' place to anyone looking for a quiet escape. One thing - you would definitely need a car for this one, otherwise you would be limiting yourself to what you can see on the island which has so much to offer.

The Anna Boutique Villas were amazing! The location is breath taking, and the house itself was beautiful. Our check-in process was accommodating, and communication with the hose was very easy. It was such a peaceful and enjoyable stay, plus the location is close to both the southern coast for hiking and beaches, and the city of Rethymno. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Yiannis was a perfect host. He took care of our needs, was always areall when we had questions and provided all around for a perfect holiday. The house keeper came every day and asked if we would be desired and if everything was OK. Better it can not be. The apartment and the whole house is a neat, clean condition. The equipment is very good (wifi, tv, bathroom, kitchen, ...) and the location is great. Both for the journey, as well as excursions and purchases a car is absolutely necessary.

(We were in the "upper" apartment fit for two persons.) We - young couple - had a great time in Angelas Paradise - and a paradise it truly was! We weren't quite sure what to expect and then you bet that we were overwhelmed by it. A fair warning first: Expect a apartment close to nature, not full of luxury. The "luxury" is provided in other terms here: You're about alone in a vast abundance of greens, flowers, trees, can hear the bells from goats and sheeps nearby (other side of the river), can watch the semi-wild ducks (they will agree to eat what you feed them, but they make clear that they prefer to not be bothered :-) ) that occupy the lower of many terraces. The building itself is clean (stone/concrete floor!) and functional, and adorably decorated. Some cooking plates allowed us to cook/heat food, there's a sink. The bathroom is attached to the building, but there's direct access to it from the apartment we were using. The surrounding area is interesting. A full village - deserted long ago (except the church, which is renovated, just like the apartments below it - that's this offer). It's a good origin for wandering through Cretan nature. The bed is well and the sheets were clean - also, clean towels were provided. The place is a creation of caring and love, and a clear vision. A success! I would also suggest it for groups of people - you can't even disturb other people, since there are none in the area around you (except maybe a shepherd now and then) :-) It's a bit challenging to find the place - but a friend of Angela was there to show us the way. Thanks! Unfortunately we were out when Angela came around so we only met on the last day. That didn't stop Angela to leave food for us in our absence - delicious! And plenty, too. We ate two full days from it - so tasty! Thanks again! Overall strongly suggested to people who want some time off, close to nature. I don't want it to sound too esoteric (it's great for that, too, I guess!), but it's a place for the soul.

Our visit to Angela's stone cottage was everything promised and more! The property is beautiful and quiet and felt like we were miles from anyone else, despite being a short walk from the little village of Mixourroma. It's a short drive to Spili where shopping and restaurants abound, and only 30 minutes to the beautiful beaches at Plakias. There is also a little cafe and a mini-market in the village for basic needs, and even free Wifi. When we return to Crete, we will definitely stay at Angela's Paradise again!

Angela's place is truly a little paradise. The traditional stone house sits in a gorgeous multi-level garden on the bank of a river. From the roof of the neighboring (empty) building there are great views of the surrounding hills during the day and the stars at night. Our last night, there was a birthday party in the village and we were treated to the sound of traditional greek music drifting down to the house. Nice surprises included the outdoor shower and fresh plums to be picked from the garden. Angela herself was so sweet and really went out of her way to make our visit special. The house was stocked with home made wine, raki, bread, olive oil, stuffed vegetables, even some produce and eggs in the fridge. There's a bakery down the road with plenty of good breads, cheeses, as well as some general items. Would recommend a car as the place is a little isolated (which is its charm!) but there are many places within 10-30 minutes drive (Spili, Plakias, Preveli ...).

Angela's house is very magical...and the gardens are completely stunning. The river at the bottom and the ducks. Beautiful. We had a wonderful time and Angela really looked after us. Thank you.

Angela's little house was a complete delight - small, rustic, and a great place to spend a few days - we would have stayed longer if we could. The house is in a small hamlet, and is the only habitable building apart from Angela's other cottage, which is further down the garden, close to the river. It is approached by a short footpath,from the parking place, and you reach the cottage via stone steps which drop down through the terraced garden which is full of flowering shrubs - and at night there are lights which transform the garden into a magical paradise....Everything about the house was charming - and Angela was charming too. She brought us some lovely cheese pies. This is a really relaxing ad enriching place to stay - nothing but peace and quiet, and the occasional passing flock of sheep. Bliss.

Angela has been a comprehensive and welcoming host. Although we arrived much later than what was expected, it was not a problem for her. We loved the experience of the village, which is not crowded with tourist. We had a lovely experience at the cafe where we also bought some excellent local product (such as delicious olive oil!). The surrouding of the cottages is charming. Angela has two cottages for rent. Maybe you want to ask for which one is available because one is more charming than the other. The cottage we had was rustic but well equiped. The only thing: the bed could have been more comfortable. Overall, it was good for the price!

Angela was such a kind and welcoming host. She made us homemade mousaka and left the cottage so warm and comfortable for our group of 3. Her garden is beautiful and the surrounding nature is breathtaking. I would recommend this place to visitors who want a unique traditional Cretan experience and much privacy and relaxation.

We had a nice stay here, well equipped and a really nice outdoor space with a fenced in garden. Eleni's husband and son met us and took us to the house and had left us some raki, fruit and some food in the fridge for us which was lovely.

I spent 4 nights at this villa during the Eastern week with my friends and we were very happy about our choice. The views from this villa are just stunning as you have a plateau with olive trees one side and a gorge on the other with mountain peaks and sea further on in the distance. Being situated where it is it offers a very good base for both hiking in the surrounding areas as well as spending time on the nearby beautiful beaches or even exploring the north shore around Rethimnon, which is not to far either! The villa itself offers a nice pool, although we didn't make much use of it as it was still rather chilly during our stay in mid April. The outside grill is also worth mentioning for those who love barbecue. The only downside is that it can be a rather windy place (it was 2 of our 4 days there) and can get quite cold, even inside - only a worry for those who wish to spend some pre or post season days here - but still you can use of the fireplace on the ground floor or a portable heater, which was provided. Otherwise it can be a welcome cool-down during hot summer days. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place for those who look for accommodation in privacy and nature and don't mind driving a bit to both south (closer and much nicer) or north shore of the island. And yes, I would love to come back again!

The villa is located on the top of a mountain, so, together with the stunning view you can see the hawks fly and hear the sheep bells at the sunset while swimming in the pool! Yiannis and her mother Anna were very welcoming and baked also a cake for us.

We had a great stay at the villa! Yannis and Eleni were wonderful in makings sure we had everything we needed. The villa was exactly as advertised, if not better. The views were amazing! We enjoyed having dinner out on the patio while watching the sunset. We highly recommend staying here and hope to do so again ourselves one day.

What a beautiful villa! I can honestly say this is one of the loveliest places I've stayed in one of the most spectacular spots. The view from any direction is breathe taking. The villa was clean and beautifully decorated, it's modern but with traditional greek touches. The pool is a good size and was kept very clean. Everyday Eleni arrived mid-morning to check on us and change our towels etc which was a great convenience. Thank you Eleni for your kind welcome and for arranging our delicious dinner in Spilli! I would highly recommend asking Eleni if her friend Elena at Cafe Spilli is available to make dinner. She cooked us a beautiful 3 course meal with ingredients entirely taken from her family farm. Such a treat! Elena is wonderful company also. Thank you also to Yiannis for your help and directions so late at night! Honestly couldn't recommend this villa highly enough. (only note: i would recommend this more for adult parties as the stairs in the house are quite sharp stone and there is no bannister)

This is an absolutely stunning AirBNB property with commanding views of a valley and mountain range and easy access to south coast beaches. We could not have been more delighted with our stay and we highly recommend this property.

We had a fantastic stay at Anna Boutique Villa for our honeymoon. Both the villa and the surrounding scenery together made it the most beautiful place we have ever been. We arrived late at night, and Yiannis, although not there himself, was very welcoming and checked up on us to make sure we had arrived safely and got into the apartment. The cleaner Eleni came most days and was very friendly, even bringing us some of her home made jam on the first day and doing a basic shop for us so we had food upon arrival. Most of our stay was spent relaxing by the pool, driving to nearby beaches and walking the Samaria gorge. If you're looking for a place to relax and unwind then look no further!

The Daphne villa of anna boutique villas was so gorgeous - better than i expected even..and the views are amazing - perfect for relaxing in the evening on one of the balconies. Eleni, who met us, was very sweet and answered any questions that we had, even bringing us fresh eggs and fruit on the first day. Communication was excellent! I would definitely recommend this house and hope to be able to come again!

This was the first time we stayed at Anna Boutique Villas and it won’t be the last. We had to find a nice place to stay for a couple of days in between stays with friends at two different locations on Crete. We love the south and the Rethymnon District is a perfect region to stay if you want to explore the island via the northern route as well as the southern route. From Agia Pelagia you can reach Plakias on the south coast very easy and in 25 minutes you‘re in Rethymnon. All the basic things you need you can find in the small town Mixorrouma around the corner (try the kalitsounia – sweet cheese pastries from the bakery/mini-market) or in the nearby Spili. Spili also has a bigger medical facility just in case you hit the raki to hard.. After contacting Yiannis for availability he replied that the Villa wasn’t available for the first requested night but he could offer us the modern and fully equipped apartment below one of the villas for the first night so we could easily move upstairs the next day. Yiannis & Eleni are great hosts. A welcoming bottle of red wine produced by his own family was waiting on us and Eleni brought us a fresh baked orange cake. Communication with Yiannis runs smoothly and Eleni comes by almost every day to keep the villa spot on clean. About the villa. It has all the space and facilities you need. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a big living space with an open kitchen and lots of outside sitting areas, a bbq place and of course a private pool. The two villas are directly next to each offer but you can find enough private space. On both sides of the Villa you have a stunning view over the valley were you can spot an eagle buzzard or even a lammergeyer sailing through the air. We had a fantastic stay in "Rena's House". The location was great. Spili is a pretty little town with enough local eating/shopping options to be interesting in the evening. In the day, given time of year it was cooler as it is quite high, but we intentionally wanted a place in the centre of the island as so late in the season it allowed us to head for south or north coast depending on which had better weather (both were about 30 min drive away). I imagine in high summer it would actually be pleasant and cooler than on the coast. We loved the range of wilder beaches we could go to on the south coast. All were beautiful and pretty much deserted (also because of the time of year probably). Rethyemnon made a close and interesting day trip on the north coast. Antonis was extremely responsive and friendly. Checkin/out was super smooth and he was fast to respond to questions and help us out (including restaurant/beach tips for the local area!). The house itself is great, very well equipped (even with a selection of small touches like welcoming food, a selection of books and board games, abundant bedding and linens, iron etc). It was spotless when we arrived. The garden and outdoor areas were delightful! It was almost november so we couldnt take as much advantage of the lovely garden as we would have liked. We will have to go back in summer! The grass area of the garden is actually much larger than it appears in the pictures!

Bob&Sigi are fantastic landlords. They did more than we'd ever expect. They provided free wifi though it's not included in the rent, bought presents for us and our kids we found on arrival, bought an inflatable pool for our kids and even provided olive oil, charcoal, Raki, Ouzo etc. When I was having problems turning on the gas for cooking Bob instantly called me to help. The house was spotlessly clean and everything was very new. The location was great since we like being on our own in peace and quiet. The house is located in the middle of nowhere between Spili and Mourne. We recommend a 4w-drive car to reach the house since the roads are pretty tough to drive. We loved the fact we used only solar power for four weeks and we never had power cuts or other problems with the house being off-grid.

A very special house in the middle of the mountains. Stunning views and what's most appealing: absolute tranquility. There is nobody near you and you have a clear, black sky with the stars above you just for you. The house is very well equipped with all you need, a great Bose sound system and all necessary to cook and wash and everything. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and provide you with information about activities in the region. We had a great time there, thank you Bob Sigi and Dean!

This house is totally isolated amid olive groves, vineyards, vegetable gardens and scrubland with grazing sheep. The peace and quiet! The path requires the use of a 4x4 vehicle. Many walks are possible in the area. We had a very relaxing stay. Thank you Bob, thank you Sigi!

Our host Panagis was in contact with us, but away overseas when we arrived. Nonetheless, he gave us contact information for his sister and arranged for us to pick up the key from his cousin's cafe, immediately below the apartment. The apartment is very well situated, immediately above the beautiful lion's head springs in the charming town square. There is a balcony shared by three apartments looking down on the springs and the various tavernas, and is shaded by a magnificent tree also over the square. We had to park our car at the bottom of the square and haul our bags up the square, then up 15 steps to the apartment balcony. That wasn't too difficult, but might be for some. There is parking on the street, or there is a big parking lot behind the shops downhill from the square. The apartment itself is small - one room up some steep stairs with a double bed and a single bed, and one room downstairs with a table and 4 chairs, a large sofa, a single bed, and the refrigerator, and a tiny kitchen and bath off of that. The upstairs had a door out to a shared back patio, but this was locked because the patio hadn't been properly prepared (it backs onto a very steep and wild uphill to the cliffs above Spili). The kitchen was quite poorly furnished; there was only one pot and no kettle. There were few plates, dishes, glasses, and cutlery. The bathroom was small, but actually quite serviceable, although the step up into the bathroom and the drop into the shower in tight quarters required care to navigate. Unfortunately, the biggest issue was that the beds were very uncomfortable, which was a big problem for my wife with her bad back, so we had to leave after only one night instead of our planned two nights. The beds might not be a problem for other people. Spili itself is a lovely rural town with several nice restaurants with local fare and lots of local products in the shops. We didn't get to try out many of the walks, which looked to be very nice. The best thing was the apartment's location and its view overlooking the square. The worst was the condition of the beds and the lack of facilities. The apartment advertises "cozy", which it definitely was. I'd also say quite rustic and old fashioned (the house has an interesting history from before WWII). If you're willing to sacrifice comfort for a quaint location right in the middle of a lovely village, this would be a good place for you, but in the end it wasn't for us.

Accommodation located in the heart of the village, all amenities are close by. Spili is well located with respect to activities in the region (visits, beaches, hiking). Pannagis give you good advice to fill your days with activities that are not in the guide books! The area is however noisy until late at night (bars and restaurants Close).

The house is right at the center of the village. It can't get more central. Underneath the house there's everything you'd want (shops, supermarket,cafes and restaurants). It's actually a very touristy village right at the center of the Rethymno region, so you can actually have it as a base and visit many places and then come back at night. It's also very cool and fresh up until midday, since it's right on the mountain slope. Only downside that there's people up to 2-3 in the morning from the activity below (cafes, restaurants) so some people might find it noisy.... but the noise is from the people not the sound systems of the shops. I had no problem with it, but other people might.

Me and my girlfriend had unbelievable time here, the house is perfect 2 floors very cosy,the host Panagis incredibly good and helpful whenever we needed him he was there for us, the place is so green unbelievable beautiful.What can I say, we had best time ever here! Recommend it to everyone!

I did not meet Panagis in person, but we spoke on the phone and he was very quick to answer messages and made sure my check-in and stay went smoothly. He was very helpful and gave me a lot of info about hikes, bus times and the like which I really appreciated. The apartment was clean and well stocked, a bit cold because it was winter and there's no central heating (at least when I stayed there). But Panagis made this clear when I booked and made sure there were lots of blankets so it wasn't a problem, I was plenty warm at night. Spili is a very cute, quiet little town and I had a nice hike into the nearby mountains. Would definitely reccomend!

We spent one week in Panagis appartment. We didn't met him in person but he was always available on the phone. Thanks to him we discovered many wonderful place, that were not on our crete guide. The appartment is very cosy, there is every home essential you might need. It is in a little square with lovely tavernes, opened until late, and the beautiful lion heads fontain. The place can be a little noisy at night, but it didn't bothered us at all. We highly recommend this appartment if you want to spend a good time in a charming village !

My parents was there, they enjoy the place , very nice

We did not meet Olga. She gave me an address of a different house she also rents (dark, in the middle of the village with a very small swimming-pool). So we were furious ! Finally we changed and arrived in the flat we wanted, in the middle of the mountains, the one that matches with the pictures. And when we arrived there was no hot water :( The swimming pool was not heated (=cold in May) and the breakfast was not a real one, but the view is just superb !

Welcome, lovely location in the countryside, comfortable apartment, cozy decorations! The lady is good! Breakfast is smiling and helpful; Would recommend to those who want comfort and equipment parfaits.Nous could not enjoy the beautiful swimming pool or the terrace as the Meltemi blowing very hard!

We were blown away by how incredible the house is - very unique, with traditional furniture, and an incredible view of the mountains. George was very welcoming and helpful, leaving delicious breakfasts in the morning. The house was well-equipped, clean and luxurious - a great retreat to enjoy in itself. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in the mountains, it's ideal.

A fantastic location, a wonderful host, overwhelming nature. From the very first moment our family of four was truly excited about the house. There are so many details to be discovered, we really felt at home. Later in spring (we were there in the second half of March), summer or autumn it must be the perfect location. Amazing location in the mountains; tasteful decor; nice swimming pool.

Housing is relatively spacious for 4 and we were made very welcome in this cozy apartment. One caveat: there is no direct view of the valley and mountains, which appears on the main photo. This was offset by the fact that George offered us accommodation for 2 people in more below, in which there is a terrace overlooking the magnificent view. Breakfast is excellent and we had the pleasure a few nights on the way to find a ready to eat food!
