The region area is simply beautiful! Beautiful little village. The hostess and Mr. are very friendly people with their hearts in the right place. Nevertheless, we arrived much later than the appointed time there was no misunderstanding when we first assignments as a reason that we still went touring the area (we were on the motor). The house is large and there is plenty of sleep. Everything is spacious, very clean and hygienic and yet there is a warm atmosphere. Very highly recommended to go overnight.

Nele and her husband were fantastic hosts. The property is even more beautiful than the pictures. The amenities are all great... dishwasher, excellent cooktop, microwave/convection oven. We barbecued for dinner and had a lovely time sitting in the courtyard with our 11 month old. We also were able to hike directly from the house to the Chateau de Modave and then to another 7.5 km hike through and around the grounds. An all around great weekend. Due to a late cancellation, we only booked "Le Vieux Logis" Rosalie on the evening we were due to leave london for Belgium. I was impressed by Nele's promt response to our booking. As we were travelling overnight, we very grateful when our host's allowed us to check-in as soon as we arrived around 9:00am. "Le Vieux Logis" Rosalie is an outstanding property that oozes charm and character and has been lovingly and expertly restored to include all the modern comforts you need. The photos do not quite manage to capture the beauty of this property. Nele and her family are perfect warm-hearted hosts that go out of their way to make you feel at home. A handwritten sign with "welcome" and my name on a chalk board outside the front door personified this. We will definitely be returning to "Le Vieux Logis" Rosalie. We had a wonderful weekend in Modave at this beautiful cottage. The hosts are welcoming and helpful. The space is comfortable, well appointed and in a good location to enjoy the Ardennes. Our favorite part was sitting outside enjoying the idyllic garden and patio.

Nice house at a very scenic location, at the top of the Mur de Huy. We stayed for the weekend as we were cycling the Liege-Bastogne-Liege, and Joelle's place was perfect for that.

Joelle was a good host. She was there to hand over the keys. The home is very special, spacy and the view is fantastic! We did not know that in the living room you may smoke. So the smell did surprise us. But if you don't mind that, and taking care of a little dog, the place is great.

The place is not really a complete maison the ville with a garden that you are renting, but actually a room in the house. The room is large, very comfortable, with enough privacy and a good bath. All new and very clean. The owners are very nice people who take a real interest in you. Thierry was very helpful with cleaning my bicycle after a long day through the dirt, and served me an unexpected fantastic breakfast the next morning at 06:30.

Alexis' flat is a nice enough place to stay when you're looking for accommodation in the Liege/Luxemburg area. It's easy to access main roads and you're pretty close to most places further south (and Liege). The flat itself is easy to get to, right on the main road, and Alexis was wonderful to communicate with, so I had no troubles beforehand. Though the flat is basic and a bit plain, it's a nice place - it's warm and got enough light and the location is perfect when looking for a wander around Huy (though I didn't think Huy was that interesting). It doesn't show on the pictures very well, or at least I missed it, but there is a bath tub! Unfortunately, during my stay, there wasn't a plug so I couldn't actually enjoy it. Overall, my dog and I had a lovely stay while exploring the southern area.

A beautiful apartment, tastefully decorated and located in a very quiet village. We made very nice walks, which we found via randocondroz. Of course, a visit to Durbuy missing out. Simply a must if you want to relax without more. Receipt of Sophie (and Marc) was very cordial and the fact that the "yard" is shared with the owners and a second apartment was no problem. And Lola was a treasure of a colossal dog! We are in every way a fan of the style of designer Macaroon (= Sophie, as we discovered!).

We stayed one week in the gite of Sophie and Marc. It is a very nice location in a small village surrounded by greenery. The cottage looks beautiful and modern styling and decor. The cottage is located on the first and second floors. On site you can use the two landscaped terraces and garden overlooking the fields and greenery. There is a ping pong table and a barbecue where you can make use of. Shame there were no towels and bedding were available. For the rest a beautiful modern cottage fully equipped in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended so.

The pictures gave a great idea of how little house would look like ... but when we arrived we were still very pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, comfort and space to offer the cottage has ... well t view stunning and Modave is very nice located compared to the nice areas in the ardennes. (Durbuy is 15 minutes drive) There is a clean, spacious kitchen with a large assortment of utensils and crockery. N addition, closed courtyard is where our young kids could look around and quietly play without us having to be afraid of cars or dangerous situations. When last I would like to mention that Nele is an extremely pleasant, helpful hostess ... we will the next time we go to the ardenne definitely stay here again!

We had a great weekend in the home of Nele and Paul, who are really attentive hosts and kind. The house is in fact part of their beautiful old house and very pretty flowers. It's a really big house. Despite being a big and old house was well lit and warm too cozy. The shower on the top floor takes some patience and study before you get out of hot water. And the lighting in the kitchen is further checked. There was no kettle in the kitchen or kettle while there was a coffee machine. Otherwise everything was fine. Netflix to the TV even to the delight of our children! It is the place you can make a lovely cozy fire and also EEG cozy. Highly recommended.

The kitchen/garden room and the living room are very comfortable, and the upstairs offers some nice extra rooms for fitness and games (biljards, table tennis, foosball). The surroundings of Marchin offers many beautiful hikes and larger cities are within 15 to 30 minutes by car.

Very cute and great authentic typical "Ardennes" house with a warm and very friendly welcome from Danielle. We were the first who hired this property, therefore there were a few flaws, but after one phone call was all speed, dissolved immediately and professionally. The pool was for us a real added value for this mini vacation close to home. Also nice is the "tops" billiards and "sjotterkast" .... The house has large rooms and adequate bathrooms, also the area with many beautiful hiking trails in the area is also highly recommended. Situated between Huy and Durbuy is also ideal for nice trips. You also see that Danielle and Mark are very eager to enrich your stay, you can if needed reach their very easily and that's always an added value to the Airbnb concept.

It was a lovely weekend at the beautifully restored farmhouse from Anke and Eddy. Besides the spacious and very nice rooms, the environment is also very surprising and there is more than enough to do. We were welcomed with a drink and felt equally well at ease. Quick weekend getaway in a quiet ... In this splendid luxuriously renovated building, we had a very nice time. Anke and her husband are charming and we immediately see that they love what they do. The room is very nice, comfortable beds, beautiful bathroom. A living room, with the softest blankets of the universe (!), Is available with drinks cold, TV and books available. Hearty breakfast and quality: special mention for the fresh fruit salad. Sun Terrace: what fun! We'll definitely be back.

We spent a very relaxing night, although quiet in this beautiful farmhouse, restored with taste by Anke and Eddy. If you have young children, do not hesitate, they will discover safely the farm life of yesteryear, with the smell of straw and hay. Eddy restored with old farm machinery they work with daily care. Our stay was fantastic. The house is and the garden / terrace have been renovated with man-power, good taste and love. Thierry has welcomed us warmly and communication beforehand was absolutely reliable and very accommodating. The area is rural and very sweet. Smaller tours / jogging tours are possible from the house. Kayaking few kilometers possible. The small town has everything you need (bakery / convenience store / post) and the people there are very warm! There were 12 people there and we all enjoyed. Highly recommended !!!

When we booked the house Cecile communicated everything clearly and on time. The pictures give a good indication on the house and all equipment but when we arrived it was even better than expected. The house is big with nice rooms, bathroom, a great livingroom with fireplace and a great kitchen with all equipment you need.
