Places to stay in Monroe
You'll fall in love the moment you set foot in this charming cabin overlooking the Snoqualmie River. Imagine waking up, lighting up the stove, reading while sipping tea on the deck. A perfect place for inspiration, quiet, romance, rejuvenation.
The most unique feature is the view. Oh, and the deck. And the view. And the trees, and did I mention the view? It's really a pretty special place. For 2016 we've added a hot tub, and a dock!
The cabin is about ten minutes from either Monroe or Duvall, both of which have plenty of stores and restaurants. Redmond is about twenty minutes away. The cabin itself is pretty secluded, but there's plenty to do close by - the Evergreen State Fairgrounds, Lord Hill Park, hikes off of Highway 2, etc... but honestly, once you're there, I would think leaving will be the last thing on your mind.
  • Beautiful getaway! Watching the river view from the deck and hottub was a DREAM!

  • This was our fifth visit to this cabin and it is always amazing. There is a ton to do in a short distance and the host is very quick to respond and accommodating. We brought out our dogs and they love the big yard, bird watching and the river :)

  • Beautiful place ! If you want to get away from the city this is the place to be. You wake up in nature everyday. Just absolutely beautiful.

  • We were sad to leave Brian’s place! It felt like home. This was the first vacation we ever took our dog on and he did so well and loved chasing the many types of birds. We loved taking a break from life and getting to relax while looking at the river. Brian was exceedingly accommodating and I already miss that little slice of heaven.

  • This cabin is just beautiful! I spent Jan 23 - Feb 1 of 2020 there and it was the best vacation I've had in years! If you're like me and prefer the quiet of the country to the noise and go-go-go of the city, this place is perfect for you. The river views are spectacular! (Especially from the hot tub) And on a clear day you can see snow capped mountains. If you like to cook while your out of town, this place has everything you need. Pots, pans, two place settings, plenty of spices, and most of your basic food items. E.G. flour, sugar, oil... You get the idea. If you decide to stay at this cabin, enjoy! I would definitely stay again!

  • Beautiful location, cozy place, hot tub is great.

    Spencer2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • This place was exactly what we were looking for in a girls' weekend getaway: private, quiet, small and serene. There's no WiFi so it's lovely to be able to kick back and enjoy the company you're with or a great book. We brought my friend's dog with us and he loved it. Lots of space to roam around and play. She and I would hang in the hot tub and throw the ball for the dog down the hill. Heaven for all. There's a really cool wooden puzzle for puzzle lovers. Brian also left us English muffins and a bottle of wine which we happily enjoyed during our stay :). We will definitely be back.

    Anna2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • Probably the most perfect place on this earth. Perfect for a peaceful romantic honeymoon. Brian is amazing and accommodating and just all around superb. Cant wait to be able to come back again. Check out the little town about 10 minutes away, the duvall marketplace, the Grill was amazing!

My place is only an hour from Seattle. You’ll love it because its a private, boutique, reclaimed, 1950's fishing hot tub cabin with 4.5 acres to play in the woods, on the grass field, and in the river.. It is great for couples, families (with kids), big groups, weddings, and furry friends (pets). We proudly donate proceeds to The Sierra Club and Forterra (saved Lake Serene Trail) for fighting to keep our beautiful wild places healthy and happy.
This newly-updated fishing cabin built in the 1950s is begging for you to come relax, unplug, and let your stresses float away on the North Fork of the Skykomish River. Take a soak in the covered hot tub perched over the river and gaze upon the famous Index Town Wall as bald eagles look for steelhead in the waters below. The cabin features a custom kitchen counter top made from reclaimed Teredo Clam Wood boards and river boulders. There is a full sized fridge, apartment sized range, retro microwave, coffee maker, and selection of all the basic kitchen supplies. Grill your favorite dish on the Webber propane BBQ after a long day on the slopes - Steven’s Pass Ski Area is 30 minutes away - or hiking, fishing, or tubing on the wild river. The master suite is donned with reclaimed wood walls, a full sized bed, and a brand new 40" TV & smart Blueray/DVD player. The connecting bathroom has a custom stone rain shower, including a river cobble stripe with a 50 million year old fish fossil smiling at you while hot water beats down on your head. The second sleeping area is in the common living room and is outfitted with a queen sized bed and a twin sleeper sofa (linens, mattress cover, and pillow in side table, comforter in wicker basket if needed). This property (The Pietsch Pit) is gated and is THE last house on the secluded dirt road. If you want to get away and unplug this is truly a spot for you. Located steps from the river you will follow the fishing trail down to the world famous Skykomish to fish for Steelhead (WA State Fish) and Dolly Varden trout in the honey hole directly in front of the cabin! The river can be a little cold, but no worries -- jump into your private, covered hot tub to soak away the chill and hash over your battles with the Steelhead that you and your friends are about to enjoy. The hot tub is perched under a log structure formerly used to store horse supplies, like hay and feed. It faces the great Index Town Wall, which attracts rock climbers from all over the world. This sheer granite cliff is part of the Index Granite Batholith which also hosts hang gliders who are brave enough to test old man gravity! Soak your bones in your private tub while you try to spot a climber halfway up the wall and turn down the bubbles so you can listen to the soothing hum of the river below. The property sits on an acre field of grass with dozens of evergreen trees scattered about. Kick a ball, throw a Frisbee, play croquet, or toss a horse shoe in the custom cedar log pits. Run freely in the fields of the Tire Swing Cabin and don’t forget to have a fire in the river boulder fire pit riverside. The town of Index is 0.2 miles away by foot or car; only 2 rapids by kayak! There is a general store in Index with basic supplies, wine, and beer, but most significant grocery runs we do in Monroe, WA, about 20 minutes west, toward Seattle. In town, be sure to check out the Outdoor Adventure Center. They offer world class rafting and kayaking, serve an amazing selection of great micro brews (mainly in 22oz size), and have big TVs that often are tuned to the Seahawks on game day. There is also a small, but notable, gift shop in town called Ellie & Clarence, featuring works by local artists. In fact, they have a selection of the jewelry that I make! They are open Saturday & Sunday 11am-3pm. This is a unique property at the end of a road, 30 minutes from Stevens Pass Ski area, and steps from one of the last wild rivers in this country. We hope that you enjoy your stay!
Index is located in the western foothills of the Cascade Mountains; the summit of Mount Index is located 3 miles (4.8 km) south of the town. The Index Town Walls, granite cliffs up to 500 feet (150 m) high, are located on the northern edge of the town. These walls are popularly used for rock climbing, offering a variety of high-quality cracks for this purpose. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.23 square miles (0.60 km2), all of it land. Index is located on the North Fork Skykomish River, just above its confluence with the main channel of the Skykomish River. The Skykomish River's Sunset Falls, a nearly 300-foot-long (91 m) granite chute that drops some 100 feet (30 m), is located approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) from the town (on the South Fork Skykomish River).[citation needed] In December 1980, the Skykomish River flooded the town and destroyed eight homes. The town is located 1 mile (1.6 km) north of US Highway 2, approximately 25 miles (40 km) west of Stevens Pass. The BNSF railroad, formerly the Great Northern Railway, runs through the middle of the town. Index was once an important stop for the mining (particularly Monte Cristo and Galena) and timber activities north of its location.
  • Great spot on a beautiful river. House set up is very cozy and the bed is very comfortable. Hot tub under the stars by the river was absolutely amazing. Nick has great and prompt communication, would return! Thank you.

  • This place is magical. The river is amazing and the cabin is so cozy and cute. A perfect place to unplug and get away.

    Julie2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • This place is great! Very much enjoyed the cabin and scenery and Nick was very responsive with whatever questions we had.

    Ryan2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • The location of this place can’t be beat! It’s very romantic and private, with a hot tub right on the river. It doesn’t get better! The space is funky and cute. I’d definitely stay again!

    Rose2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful host! The location is fabulous and the house is so unique and cozy! The river view is beautiful! Can’t wait to come back and visit and see what else Nick and his family have up there sleeves for the rest of the property! This spot is a no brainer reserve it and enjoy it as much as we did! ❤️

  • Beautiful cabin with great communication from the host!

    Kelsey2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • We happened to visit this cabin at the worst time imaginable. A snowstorm hit the day we flew into Seattle for our honeymoon and started driving to the cabin, so it made it very difficult to find. BUT in all the weather trouble the host was very helpful. Be sure to follow his personalized directions and not Google maps. The service is super spotty in the mountains. Then due to the weather a tree fell on the power lines and we lost power within our first night. Not the host’s fault at all, and he was more than accommodating for the circumstances we faced. We ended up leaving early due to the weather but we really wished we could have stayed. The cabin was very clean, super cute, cozy, and with an amazing view too. Would recommend as long as the weather isn’t horrible.

    Delaney2020-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was perfect for a ladies getaway after the holidaze. The river and the hottub were revitalizing, the cabin was cozy, and the kitchen was great. We would have stayed longer of we could have!

  • Fern & Loren have a great place and a great location. They were both so nice and caring. I would 100% come back.

    Carmen2020-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Needed a place for one night and Fern’s place was perfect! Sparkling clean, super soft carpeting, and comfy bed. Very spacious. Thanks!

    Carolina2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • I found this AirBnB to be in the perfect North Seattle location. It felt so warm and cozy when I arrived. The space was super clean, and had everything I needed for my brief stay. The owners communicated promptly and clearly. I appreciated the parking, and the easy self check-in and check out. I did not meet the hosts, but it was nice to know that they were right upstairs if I had needed anything. Thank you so much!

    Shirley2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Quiet, clean, cozy place to stay. Emphasize on the clean. Only 15 min away from downtown.

    Humberto2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Fern's place is clean, private and full of amenities. She responds promptly and is welcoming. The place was clean and nice. Guests have their own entrance with code so it's very private which is highly appreciated (especially for us introverts). There were a lot of amenities as well which rivals any hotel. I highly recommend staying at Fern's place.

    Norman Aris2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Very pleasant accommodation. Loren and Fern are attached to the well-being of their hosts. To recommend

This is a great place to be quarantined when you wake up to breathtaking views and the sounds of the Skykomish river in this fully licensed home that is sanitized between guests with ozone and food grade hydrogen peroxide for maximum cleaning against covid 19 virus. Pottery barn dishes and linens with plush down comforters for a cozy get away where you can bring your furry friends for 30 a night per pet to be billed after you book. Kayakers, salmon, eagles and ospreys abound for entertainment
High end non smoking cabin with 180 degree views, Pottery barn designer linens, dishes and down comforters and fully stocked kitchen you just have to bring your food for gourmet dining with one of a kind views.. propane BBQ Hot tub with ozonator and very few chemicals for ultimate soaking under the stars. I have a fully fenced yard and fenced front deck for pets for a fee of 30 per night per furry friend to be billed after booking I ask though you don't leave them alone Ive had a few pillow eaters that were mad that they got left..
Only an hour from Seattle if you are coming to visit the area and don't want to pay exorbitant hotels prices and bring your furry friends 30 per pet per night this is the place for you...my neighborhood is very quiet and most people are part-time residents so very private at my home no river access from the house as very fast moving and can be dangerous but we have a community private beach at east end of road for dog romping and people swimming too
  • Great place with truly remarkable views. Amazing escape.

    Patryk2020-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Micheles home is the perfect place to get away. Instructions on how to get there and where to park made our trip very easy. The house was very cozy and had everything we needed to bbq burgers. The view was amazing, words can’t describe just how beautiful it was so you will have to look for yourself. My pups loved being here, there’s a fully fenced yard so they are able to run and there’s also a private access to the river that just will blow you away. We will definitely be back, we felt very welcomed by Michele. Thank you !!

    Julie2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • The view was beautiful and the home was fully stocked and clean. Michele was incredibly communicative and responsive to questions. We enjoyed our stay here!

    Mandi2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • This is the best Airbnb we have stayed at that is near the North Cascades. Michele is truly a great host and welcoming. You can tell she makes sure that her guests feel at home, comfortable, and peaceful when they stay at her place. The view of the river and the cascades are just spectacular. You can practically see the cascades on a clear sunny day right from inside the house. When you're outside, you can hear the tranquil sounds of the river and chirping birds. You will also see kayakers kayaking at the river. We love this place and will be coming back for sure.

    Alicia2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This place is beyond fantastic! I highly recommend it. The view from the hot tub, from the deck, and from inside the house is absolutely stunning. Everything from the mattress, to the blankets, to the headed bathroom floors, to the couch, was perfect and very cozy. I didn't want to leave! This was a perfect place to get away, unplug, and relax.

    Colleen2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing, amazing location! Basically a Xanax in a home. Pictures don’t do this place justice; beautiful river, outstanding views, and tons of places to get off the highway and play down by the river. Host is phenomenal and thorough, even went out of her way to give me medicine due to my back being thrown out the day before. That being said, ask about the IR sauna, you won’t regret it. Just save yourself a doctors visit due to your blood pressure and come out here.

    Clara2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Cute little house right on the water. We had everything we needed and could tell that Michele has been very thoughtful about the furnishings, amenities, and upgrades she's made to the house for guests' comfort. It was perfect for a relaxed girls' weekend.

    Cat2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • This stay was outstanding. I could go on and on however nothing can explain how amazing the view is. We can’t wait to come back when the weather is warmer. I could be out on that deck day and night. Well actually we were...even in the cold!

The board games were super helpful too to keep us entertained. The trail to Mathews beach was so close and enjoyable to walk and get some fresh air. The hot water went fast one night when we were all trying to shower but other then that, everything was perfect!

  • This place was perfect for my visit to Seattle. Michael was very helpful and quick to respond. The property itself was unique and comfortable. Uber prices from the property to tourist attractions were reasonable. Next time I visit Seattle I won’t even bother looking for a place to stay, I’ll just schedule this property again.

  • Great location, amazing amenities, and super comfortable!

    Larisa2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Please read the information provided by the host. Any other questions I had were answered without a long delay. I am 5’4” and the low ceiling wasn’t touching my head when I sat on the bed. Bed was super comfy.

    Barbara2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Michael’s place was super cute! We only stayed one night but the hot tub was great to relax in after a long day. It’s been mentioned in many reviews that the ceilings are low but if you come with that expectation, you should enjoy yourself just fine! My partner is 6’ and had no issues enjoying the space. The shower is spacious and really nice and the bed is super comfy! Would stay again!

  • This home and property is beautiful! We had a comfortable stay and no complaints! We really enjoyed the serene quiet setting of the land and just wish it didn't happen to be so snowy while we were there so we could have enjoyed walking by the stream a bit more. The homeowners were quick to reply to any questions and were helpful and kind. Would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area. And while we didn't end up using the barn, it's a great space for a small gathering. I could see having a small wedding or birthday party here. We'll be back again, I'm sure.

Welcome to Pleasantview! This spacious, serene studio apartment has a great view of Mount Rainier, Skykomish and Snoqualmie Valleys. Picture yourself relaxing on the deck after a day of hiking, sightseeing, or attending a wedding in the many local venues.
The studio comes with a TV connected to Roku. You are welcome to access any personal accounts on Netflix, Youtube TV, Hulu or Amazon. Other free programming is available. This is a kitchenette - toaster oven, 2-burner hot plate, microwave, hot water pot and Keurig.
We have many local parks, Wallace Falls is a short drive away, Evergreen State Fairground and Evergreen Speedway is nearby. One of our favorite summer activities is floating the nearby Skykomish River.
  • When I arrived, I was upset to see the place only has a kitchenette. I called Kathy to express my concerns - she answered right away and brought up a hot plate and oven. I appreciated her creative thinking and responsiveness. Everything else was wonderful from the start. It is a great apartment to work from during the day, hike around a bit, and cook and chill and night.

    Magalie2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely quiet space in which to stay. We woke up to see 5 deer in the front yard! Kathy clearly explained everything so check in and check out were so easy. The place was clean and impeccably decorated. And the bonus of the piano! What a lovely way to unwind. I highly recommend and plan to stay there again!

    Lisa2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • The space was very clean, beautiful and cozy. The view is much worth the price. We visited on a very clear day and had a great view of the city and mountain range. Kathy was great and was responsive. We were sad because we were only in town for 1 night on a business trip. The location and Airbnb was so perfect we wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy it. If we are ever in town again, we will look forward to staying here again.

    Leo2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Kathy’s place was clean, easy to find and a very comfortable homey space. Gas stations, grocery stores and food places all within a 15 minute drive. About a 45 minute drive from Seattle and a hour drive to Stevens pass when we stayed here, which wasn’t too bad. It was central to everything we were doing. Kathy and her husband were nice and welcoming. Definitely recommend.

    Celina2020-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • Such a wonderful experience! Kathy’s place is beautiful, even better than in the pictures. It’s spacious, super clean and decorated with taste. We had everything and more that we have expected. Having an opportunity to play a real grand piano was a total bonus (music lovers will enjoy!) and so was a chance to meet Kathy in person - she came up to greet us and that was so sweet! We appreciate all the thoughtful touches. Totally will be back once in the area - the location is great and the view at sunset/sunrise is amazing. Thank you, Kathy!

    Tanya2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing! Would recommend this place to anyone! Clean and spacious with a beautiful view!

  • My wife and I had a quick trip to Snohomish/Monroe for a wedding. Our trip was so quick that we only got to say hi to Colin as we were checking out. The house was in the perfect location for us as it was only 5 minutes from the wedding venue. We only spent several hours in the home (for sleep), but it was clean and comfortable. There is a bathroom with shower upstairs next to the room. Great place!

Relax and enjoy the warmth of a toasty fire, sipping a cup of cocoa, roast marshmallows or soak away stress in the hot tub all in our covered outdoor patio. Enjoy the country setting while still being close to town!
Our place is a 3 bedroom home with a nice open living room and dining room and fully functioning kitchen. One of the most amazing parts of our property is the outdoor living area which is a cozy sitting area in front of an awesome fireplace, a large hot tub and outdoor grill with a rock waterfall sink. The rocks are the faucet handles which turn the water on in the sink. You have to see it!
There are many good restaurants in the area. Our favorites are the Repp in Snohomish, Ixtapa in Monroe and Red Robin is also in Monroe. Stevens Pass is approximately 1 hour from Monroe and it is a beautiful scenic drive. Stevens Pass is an excellent ski resort in the winter and there are many hiking trails nearby. The beautiful town of Leavenworth is only another hour from Stevens Pass going East and is a wonderful place to visit for the day. In the other direction from Monroe going toward I-90 is Snoqualmie Falls. This beautiful waterfall is a huge tourist attraction and wonderful place to visit and is only about 45 minutes from Monroe. The San Juan Islands are also beautiful to see and would be an excellent place to visit as you are touring Western Washington. Of course, Seattle is approximately a 45 minute drive (depending on the time of day and traffic) and there are so many things to see in the big city! Our place is centrally located between most of these places and is perfect for the place to rest and relax after a busy day of exploring to your hearts content.
  • Fantastic space for a family or friends getaway with a beautiful Country feel and amazing outdoor patio area with grill, tv, lounge and hit tub. Incredibly comfortable interior as well. Fully stocked (other than drink and food) as you can walk right in and have all the amenities of your own home

  • Kathryn’s place was perfect for our girls weekend! The house was stocked with tons of various supplies, kitchen items, etc, which was really handy. Kathryn also provides lots of tips for locals places to check out. There were also goats, horses, and chicken on the property which was really cool! Would definitely come back!

    Meghan2020-02-18T00:00:00Z

  • Cozy cute cabin! Very clean! Loved the outdoor patio and hot tub area! Great coffee provided! WiFi was a little spotty at times and a little close to a busy road, however, we didn’t hear the road noise much at night! Kitchen had everything we needed and Kathryn was very friendly, attentive and accommodating!

  • One word-- A M A Z I N G. This was a little bit of a gamble for the price, but worth EVERY penny. Rick and his partner were absolutely amazing. Their property, the animals, the thoughtful touches-- everything was perfect. I've never glamped quite like this (lavish bed, elegant furniture, fire pits, the peaceful sound of animals throughout the night), but I certainly hope that I get to visit them and their dog Kopek again. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!!!

    Lew2019-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • I love the personal touch (nuts and sherry upon arrival), and the landscaping around the area. Rick has anticipated needs and has everything in place. We had water in the tent, coffee, a fridge so it wasn’t exactly “roughing it”. There is also access to a very clean bathroom and shower which was important to us.

    Katherine2019-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • We were never bored during our stay. The indoor and outdoor living spaces were so comfortable. And we walked the grounds several times as there was so much to see.

    Lee Ann2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • My brother and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We initially didn’t plan on “glamping”, but when I saw the photos of Rick’s tent I was sold right away. What an amazing experience! My brother loved it so much he says he’s gonna go glamping more often now. The tent was so lovely it reminded me of Harry Potter at the quidditch world cup. The goats and Kopek were a lovely icing on the cake.

    Jet2019-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • This is the second time I’ve stayed here. Love this space and recommend everyone stay here! You have literally everything you need and Rick is very responsive and helpful. It’s so peaceful and beautiful, you won’t regret coming.

    Rachel2019-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely stunning place. Our second time here and can't wait to come back again. The place has so much character, it's truly unique. Sleeping in a tent is soothing, yet there's everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great area to chill, BBQ, etc. Fireplace is lovely. Bed is comfy. The hosts are super friendly. The surroundings are super cool. Everything is great. Love it.

    Axel2019-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • If you're considering this place, do it! You won't regret it. Rick's property is tucked on a huge acreage filled with farm animals and plants. It isn't too far from Seattle, but truly feels like you're in some far out place. The attention to detail in furnishing the place and the hospitality that Rick provided is superb. I would 10/10 recommend. The only thing I wish I'd done differently is book for 2 nights instead of 1. Seriously!

  • This place was completely magical! Very rarely does a place look better in person than it does in the pictures, but pictures didn’t do this place justice. Gorgeous property and it looked straight out of a fairy tale lit up at night. Rick was a wonderful host and clearly put a lot of love and care into his property. We can’t wait to come back!

    Courtney2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great 1st time experience glamping! Flew in from MN and had everything we would need to glamp in style. Rick was a great host and was very flexible with our check-in. Also, offered breakfast for our early check-out due to a wedding that was happening the same day. The roosters and their dog, Kopek, though warned about did wake us up. But there were ear plugs provided for that reason.

    Sara2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Such a fantastic experience! Thoughtful little gestures everywhere, loved all of the animals!

    Madison2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was amazing! Everything you needed to relax and have some R&R. Rick was very kind upon arrival and even helped find a charger for the mini speaker and gave a rundown on the tents & grounds. The tents were very clean and well kept, there was life sized chess & checkers on the property that is only a short distance from the tents. I encourage you to walk around the store upfront and the area they have fountains, flowers, and animals, as well as the dance floor for weddings was too cute to not have a dance on. The goats loved being pet and we even had a chicken visit us in our tent and was super friendly! The fire pit and gas grill are a great touch and the options to lounge in different chairs/hammocks was a great relaxation with a view. Would definitely return!

    Malorie2019-08-18T00:00:00Z

    Laura2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Everything about this place was wonderful! It’s a truly unique experience. If you are looking for a cozy nature retreat, this is it. Not only is Falling Water Gardens a wonderfully eclectic garden shop, but the oasis they have created throughout the property is stunning. The tent area is nice and cozy, and they supply you with everything you need. Our favorite moments were all animal related, as there are humming birds buzzing around the flowers, goats and alpacas roaming around the field with their guardian dog, a few rabbits hopping about, as well as some adorable chickens. Simply put, it’s magical.

My condo is in a very quiet neighborhood within walking distance of public transportation. It provides easy access to Aurora Ave/Pacific Highway and Interstate 5. Seattle is just 25 minutes away.
Mine is a split-level condo with two bedrooms; one of which will be yours during your stay. The guest bedroom features a queen bed, desktop PC, and Xfinity cable television. There is a shared bathroom with shower right outside your room. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience on the 2nd floor as well. On the first floor is the kitchen with coffee maker and all the appliances you may need for preparing meals. Coffee, tea, bagels. seasonal fruit and eggs are complementary.
The neighborhood where this condo located is very family oriented and friendly. It is quiet and because of the hills, is great for walking.
  • Andrea is an excellent host. Love the comfort of the room, the convenience of the location, and her hospitality. The room was super clean. Andrea even changed the towel after a couple of days. Very nice of her. I will highly recommend this place.

  • I had a great 3-week stay with Andrea. She is kind and friendly but also gives you your space. The room where I stayed was comfortable and just the right amount of space. During my long stay, I was able to use the kitchen and cook, and to store things in the cupboard/fridge. A great place to stay!

  • Andrea is a fantastic host much better than what you would expect. I have stayed in many Airbnb homes over the last year, and I can say unequivocally that this is in the top ten percent and if you take into consideration what she charges she is in the top one percent.

Best Airbnb I have ever stayed at and even the quality of the Iron is good if you need to iron clothes. Check in was super easy. I will definitely stay there again and even schedule my next stay in Seattle to be whenever Ron’s place is available. Yes it’s that good!

  • Ron & Stacie are very amazing hosts. I’ve been living in AIRBNB’s on and off for the last two years as a traveling medical professional and really needed this private space more than I knew. I was very lucky to have found this place and am grateful for the great hospitality. They are so accommodating, very communicative, and there if you need something! I would stay with them again if the opportunity came up and I would recommend this to any type of traveler who needs an extended stay. They live close to a park / water, which is pretty cool.

  • Our plans kept changing due to our circumstances and Tia was accommodating at each turn. The 2 places we stayed at on the same property were both great for all our needs. Nice touches all around and we would definitely seek this property out if we return to the area.

    Eric2019-11-28T00:00:00Z
  • Tia was very available to communicate with which was such a pleasure. There was much more space than we thought there would be! Tons of street parking which was also a perk. Had a little bit of trouble with the wifi but nothing that ruined our trip. I would definitely recommend staying here and booking with Tia! Great host and great place!

Relax and enjoy a weekend in this cozy barn converted into a home. Conveniently located minutes from the town of Monroe.
If you've ever thought of living in a small space here is your chance to try it out! This little barn is like none you have ever seen before. A beautiful tree branch holds the stairs to the loft as well as a small desk underneath.
The river is close by but a good long walk which might be longer than you want but town is a short 3 - 5 minute drive.
  • The coziest of cozy cabins! Perfect for a romantic getaway!

    Erin2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent stay! We can’t recommend it highly enough. They’ve put so much into that little space—cozy, comfortable, and great use of space. They gave us farm fresh eggs and wonderful coffee. Comfy, firm bed and super nice fluffy towels. Nice and private, as well. Thanks for the great getaway!

    Elyse2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Adorable, quaint little cottage. Sparkling clean, had tea, coffee , water, snacks. The grill outside would have come in handy on a longer stay. There’s no central HVAC, and it can get chilly, but Kathryn was super pleasant and responsive and brought us an extra space heater right away. We really enjoyed saying hi to the horses and cows in the morning. All in all we had a lovely stay, and would come again in a heartbeat.

Hosts are incredibly friendly, easy to communicate with, and even added extra personal touches due to our stay being on Valentine’s Day. • We came to the Farm to be near our daughter's place in Kirkland and found it a convenient 30-minute drive. We were glad to have as much time at the house as we did, because it was so pleasant to play games and cook and hang out. It felt fancy to us, but our family appreciated the country feel and wouldn't have had the same homey experience in a modern place in town.

    Tim2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Flying Fox Farm was great. The space was perfect for all the bridesmaids and mothers to get ready before the wedding we were a part of.

    Natalie2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • We loved Sheridan’s house. It was perfectly stocked with everything we needed and more. Their caretaker was quick to help if we needed anything and Sheridan responded within a minute or two. It was a perfect home for us! Thank you!

    Jane2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Sheridan’s place was INCREDIBLE! She was very prompt in her responses. She went above and beyond to make us feel at home (small touches like setting up a child’s bed ‘The Fox Den’, champagne, soaps, books of the city and its history). The property was exceptionally clean. Beds extremely comfortable. Plenty of cookware for delicious country meals. And the piano was incredible! I have t played in years and I through enjoyed playing on the gran piano in the home. I will absolutely recommend Sheridan’s place as she was the best host I have ever encountered with the best property I have every stayed at. Thank you!!!

    Stuart2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Location is everything, it is close to town (5 mins), yet it feels as if you are secluded on a private ranch. The extra amenities provided made a special touch. The owners are able to assist with anything and checked in during our stay to make sure we had all the we needed. Flying Fox is an awesome place for a family get away, no TV’s make it a time to enjoy each other’s company. This is a home away from home and has everything you could ever need. When we come to Washington this will be our go to place!!

    Lacie2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Sheridan made our trip stress free. The check in process was a breeze. The home is beautiful and the decorative details are as pleasant to take in as much as the natural surroundings. My family and I were pleased with the overall experience as it surpassed our expectations.

    Cesar2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful communication and very kind!

    Classic2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at the flying fox farm before our wedding. It’s a charming farmhouse conveniently located minutes from Monroe. Sheridan left lots of thoughtful touches throughout the house. The house is very cute and clean.

  • I immensely enjoyed my stay in Snohomish. The unit was very clean and stocked with dishes, coffee and all the necessities. The bed was comfortable and the desk was perfect for getting some work done. The deck overlooking the river was just perfect. Amazing location right in the middle of all the shops and restaurants. Loved every minute of my stay.

    Jaymie2020-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed 4 days/nights in Snohomish while traveling & this apartment was perfect in every way! Situated right in the heart of the historic shopping and dining district, it's easy to walk to all kinds of great restaurants and wine bars. The apartment is very warmly and tastefully decorated, with a sparkling, modern, well-stocked kitchen that includes a full-sized fridge and 4-burner stove. All dishes, glassware, utensils and kitchen gadgetry you might need has been anticipated by the host and provided. There was even a complimentary snack basket, bottle of wine, soft drinks & a carton of ice cream in the freezer! Although the apartment is a short flight of steps down from the street level, do not for one second worry this is a "basement flat". Because the landscape slopes down toward the river there are full-sized windows opening from the kitchen, living room and bedroom with a view over the river. Situated below and away from the street, my stay (which included both a Friday and Saturday night, when the street was bustling) was completely quiet with zero noise from outside. Very peaceful and supremely comfortable! The spacious deck nestled off the living room includes an awning-covered table and gas grille. It was a bit too damp during my March stay to fully enjoy it, but I can easily visualize enjoying a lazy summer evening there with a glass of wine, gazing out at the flowing water.

    Steve2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • What a value! More comfortable than home...I felt truly pampered. Super comfy bed! I covet her sheets!!! Snohomish is quite the quaint town...antiques and boutiques and even a pie shop!! It was so very quiet and tranquil by the river that flowed right outside my back deck...you’d never know you were in a town. I will be back! Thank you, Linda!

    Christine2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • I booked this place for out of town guests that I didn't have room for in my own home. I can't tell you how they raved and raved about how nice it was! They loved sitting on the peaceful deck over looking the river each morning as they enjoyed their breakfast and the claw foot bathtub with the super luxurious bubble bath was a big hit! When I was at work they went to all the little antique stores, unique local shops and sampled lots of the goodies from the variety of restaurants. They loved being right in the middle of Snohomish in an historic building. It was a quiet and peaceful oasis right in the middle of everything. They have already said they can't wait to come back and now that I know about it, I will book it myself for anyone who comes to visit. It is a true gem!

    Chuck2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • This is such a great place to stay in downtown Snohomish whether you're staying for work or play! It's in the perfect location and getting in and out of the apartment is very simply. If you're looking for a place to stay in Snohomish, I'd highly recommend this!

  • As soon as we opened the door to this amazing Airbnb we knew we made the right choice. Not only were we welcomed to fresh flowers on the table, potted plants on the deck but the kitchen also had coffee, tea and some snacks waiting for us. This was my first experience with Airbnb, I will definitely use them in the future. Linda was a joy to work with. Very quick with responses to any questions or concerns we might have had. I would be more than happy to stay at this location again. The whole place was quality! Thank you Linda for everything!

  • Perfectly located in the heart of Snohomish’s Wedding Venue scene, I would definitely recommend booking with the Greens, if you are staying in town for an event. I spent most of a week at this Airbnb & would definitely book here again. Dani was an amazing host, both attentive & respectful of our privacy. The facility was extremely clean, comfortable, quiet, & larger than anticipated. Extra amenities, such as breakfast foods & private parking, makes you feel very welcome & taken care of. The property is beautiful & well landscaped. Stay for a night or week, either way you’ll have positive Airbnb experience with this host.

  • Great space. Very clean and quiet, and the location is beautiful and peaceful. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely book with Kevin and Dani again in the future.

    Jamika2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first Airbnb experience and I couldn’t have been happier. The property was ready when promised, even ready a little early! The studio was much larger than I expected :) and looked as if no one had previously ever stayed there. The bed was made, ready to be crawled into and full size bathroom was delightful. The thoughtfulness of the food and coffee in the kitchen was amazing. And private parking to boot!! Would absolutely recommend this property and will be checking the availability next time I’m in town. Thank you so much Dani and Kevin

Come enjoy a quiet room in a peaceful wooded area. Sleep soundly in a comfortable queen bed. We have romantic or classic movies you can watch or a private sitting area at the top of the stairs where you can read. We have coffee/cocoa for the Keirig in your room & your private bathroom has everything you'll need. Great restaurants 5-10 minutes south in Maltby/Woodinville as well as wine country & tasting rooms! Travel 15 minutes north to the town of Snohomish for antiques, & quaint stores!
We are on a wooded lot down a driveway from the road. It is quiet and peaceful here with a pond and walking trails through the woods. The queen bed is very comfortable and the privacy of the upstairs is all yours!
Because these homes are on acre lots with many trees, one doesn't really see any neighbors! It is very quiet and peaceful.

Come stay in Maltby! A little piece of Country but close to the City of Seattle. This little bit of heaven is 25 minutes to downtown Seattle and Everett. 15 minutes to the Woodinville Winery Region. 60 minutes to two ski resorts. A complete private downstairs with living area, bedroom, private bath and private patio sitting area. Includes frig, microwave, kuerig coffee service and available snacks. This is a great location to come enjoy the Pacific Northwest!!
This space is very quiet and private. It's a great place to relax and catch up on whatever you have been missing. It's in a nice country setting but close to everything. There is so much to see and do! This is not a good location if you are dependent on public transportation.
My home is in a rural location just outside of Woodinville, one of the largest winery regions in the State of Washington! Easy access to the highways and freeways but tucked into a very private location. Close to two ski resorts. Leavenworth is just an hour and half away for a fun day trip the cutest Bavarian Village! A great place to site see or just relax after a day of wine tasting!
  • Had an amazing weekend stay with Denise. The space was charming and eclectic. Spotless clean. She has a deft hand with special touches.
