Richard is a great guy and an even better host. my room and bed were both clean and comfortable and they had just finished construction on an upstairs bathroom which i found really nice. i am the private type and they were very accommodating of my preferences. i would recommend that, private or not, u don't skip out on getting to meet the other tentants. they were all lovely. we had delicious meals as well as an impromptu concert which was totally fun. i'd highly recommend this place to anyone and i'll definitely be back. A quiet and peaceful neighborhood with basic facilities close by. Richard was very responsive and addressed all my concers immediately.

The house is in a nice, safe, quiet neighborhood near a lovely park. Host is quiet, and home also feels safe. My unit appeared to be a bit of a work in progress; some unfinished walls, etc. As a traveler, two things are non-negotiable for my room: clean sheets and a clean bathroom. Sheets were plainly unwashed, and bathroom needed a scrub.

Richard was very friendly and it was easy to contact him prior to our arrival, and afterwords. It's in a nice neighborhood. They're in transition between family space and guest room space. It will be more comfortable once they complete some changes.

Kerri has an incredible, open space. I really enjoyed the patio area during my stay and the view of the sunset is absolutely magical.

It was a great place, on the egae of the city to get away to.

My friends and I were unsatisfied with the cleanliness of the house. It was not as clean as we would have liked (cluttered, some surfaces appeared grimy, stains on sheets). Perhaps most disappointing was that the shower had draining issues. The water rises very quickly and drains very slowly. We also spotted several bugs; granted, because we stayed during the summer, many windows/doors were left open for airflow. Also, while we had a key to lock our specific room, there was no key/lock for the bathrooms (or we didn't know about any). It was honestly not a problem, since everybody knocked before entering the bathroom/closing the door meant it was occupied and leaving it open meant it was unoccupied. The house is quite old, so having no keys for the bathroom, utilizing windows over AC, etc is understandable. However, I still wish I had known about them upfront. Again, the main issue was the shower and cleanliness. Besides that, it was nice staying at Rick's place. He is a very kind, accommodating host. He has a beautiful home, and he made sure to provide a positive and welcoming environment to his visitors. He is quite helpful in recommending places to go in Milwaukee, and he is readily accessible and quick to respond (for example, we requested a fan, and he provided us with one almost immediately.) He is easygoing, but respectful of his visitors' needs and privacy. We were happy to have met him. Thank you, Rick, for your hospitality!

Richard was a great host. Everything was fine. I work nightshift at the power plant and he went out of his way to work with my schedule for check in.

Rick & co. are among the best hosts--friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. From inviting me to evening film viewings to helping me jump start my car, they made my stay as smooth and enjoyable as it could be. South Milwaukee is both a scenic and convenient location--secluded from the city, but close enough to provide easy access (both by car and by bus). I would definitely recommend Rick's place to anyone traveling through Milwaukee.

They supplied us with all directions for the use of the amenities etc...Also met my family and asked us if there was anything they could do to help make us feel more comfortable. The house was perfect for our family. Location was great. The house was very clean with all updated appliances and amenities. This was our first time using airbnb and we were thrilled with our stay. We come to Milwaukee every year in the summer and would love to stay here again every year!

Great small house! The owners live right next door, close enough to make sure everything we needed was there yet not at all intrusive. I was attending a conference in downtown Milwaukee and Ubered in and out each day for about the same price as paying for parking.

We had such a wonderful time! The house was so nice and cozy and well stocked with extra snacks and drinks. The back yard was like a beautiful park. It was perfect! The owners were so kind and generous. We plan on coming back in the near future.

Crispin and his dad, Dave, met us at their home around 10:45 pm. We got in late from a late flight. They toured us through the Airbnb home and acclimated us to all the amenities throughout the home. The home had food and drink and snacks waiting for us along with almost anything you could think of that you may need in a home away from home. The house was well appointed with the essentials and then some. If we needed things throughout the stat; they were quick to respond by text or in person, being that they live next-door.

This was my first Airbnb experience, and the host was very good about answering all my questions ahead of time. Very helpful. The host was great in person, too. Was watching for my arrival to make sure I didn't get lost. Backyard has nice patio with grill. Very private. Quiet. House is comfortable and clean. So close to downtown Milwaukee.

Sara's place is perfect. Super clean, and very convenient and comfortable. Sara went above and beyond with any issue that arose and is the perfect host. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Oak Creek is a nice area and not far from Milwaukee. We loved Valentine coffee roasters, which was a mile away. Sara's place is very clean, nicely decorated and the balcony is beautiful. We never book private rooms but fortunately the person who lives there isn't there much and is very quiet and respectful. The only thing that would have made it better would have been a place to hang our clothes. (This may not be an issue for other people)

Sweet private room with a comfy bed, small fridge with drinks and snacks, and calming decor. Bathroom just as comfortable with fluffy towels and a tub just made for soaking, and tons of toiletries in case you forgot anything. Sara and Dustin are kind, sweet people. During our two day stay we only ran into them a few times, and they were respectful of our privacy but also seemed open to chatting and making suggestions around the area. Bonus: Sara has worked in the beer and wine industries, so she knows about great places in Milwaukee! Couldn't be happier. Definitely book with them!!

We totally enjoyed this lovely home. Very comfortable beds, and delightful decor. Be sure to know that the only bathroom is upstairs, and the stairs are a bit steep. I hope I have another opportunity to come to Milwaukee, and stay here. Easy access to the airport and the UW Milwaukee Panther Arena.

Richard is a fantastic host- down to earth, informative, and friendly. He sets the tone in the house and makes it a welcoming place to be. If you're looking for an inexpensive place near the beach with an eclectic and international feel, this is a great option. I arrived late my first night, but on day two was graciously invited to share a fantastically prepared meal. My stay was for business purposes and I wanted to save money--so I wasn't expecting luxury. Inexperienced travelers should remember that you get what you pay for. That being said, Richard and the others I met at the house are fun, funny, and genuine. Thanks for an unexpected and noteworthy experience!

Kind, friendly, and inviting experience! We came for the Racine 70.3 Triathlon and this space was everything we were hoping for and more--many amenities.

Richard was very welcoming. Communication with Richard before, during and after our stay was great. Check-in and check-out went very smoothly. The location was perfect for us as we were visiting our daughter and her family about a 15 minute drive from here. We didn't spend a lot of time at the house - left early in the morning and came back in the later evening. But it served our purpose well.

I stayed here for 6 weeks for a internship experience in MKE. Richard was extremely friendly and accommodating. He was always there to help with any needs I had and he always offered to include me in any festivities he had (I was there during the NFL playoffs so it got exciting as times lol). I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay in Milwaukee.

Richard's home became my home away from home for 13 weeks. More importantly, Richard, Tim, and Lily became my family. Location was wonderful, only a mile from my work place. Many other places and activities close by as well. Richard was very helpful with recommendations for places to visit. The room was perfect!! I hope to be back soon and definitely be staying at Richard's home.

Everything was as described and fine for a short term stay. It was good for us being that it was pet friendly and we had our dog with us. However, I'm very allergic to cats and I'm fairly certain a cat had been there because I had a bad allergic reaction. Not their fault but for anyone who's allergic to cats make sure to ask before booking anything pet friendly and vice versa.

The place was nice and clean but the beds are uncomfortable and the upstairs neighbors moved around all night, slamming door and going up and down the stairs. The walls are paper thin and the floors are creaky. We did not get any sleep and ended up cutting our trip short on Sunday and just heading home because we were to tired to do any more sight seeing. There is a very cute coffee shop across the street and an antique shop. However, it is pretty far south from any other Bayview attractions/restaurants. You will need to drive or uber to the main strip on KK if you want to go out. We walked the first night but it was a bit of a hike. Overall the location is safe and on as we discovered to our luck there is a food truck friday in the park right next door every week in the summer. The hosts were accommodating and very responsive.

Great little place in south Bay View. Spacious living room, kitchen, full bath and two bedrooms with queen beds. Garage! Perfectly clean and lots of towels. Laundry is downstairs in case you need it, with some Tide pods in the closet. Don’t be turned off by no WiFi—go have fun in MKE! (But it is available right across the street at the super cute Sprocket coffee shop).

Perfect spot for exploring Milwaukee. Convenient to get anywhere within minutes. We met the hosts by accident, and they remembered all of our communications prior. They also recommended several places to dine and all were terrific. The condo was ready to go, Nice and clean, and my son who is in college in Milwaukee was able to do about 90 pounds of laundry while we stayed there. The neighborhood is pretty hip and only blocks away from the lake with a great park just north with views of Milwaukee and the harbor. Highly recommended, and we will be back!

Roshi was a great host! He was easy to communicate with, and responded to messages in a timely manner. His apartment is beautiful-just like the pictures! It was very clean and well kept, with a really nice shower and a super comfortable bed (the most important aspects, of course!). You could also walk right out of the apartment and go to the pool, which was convenient. The apartment is about 20 min south of downtown Milwaukee and it's one of several apartments buildings that make up "downtown" Oak Creek, so there were several nice restaurants within walking distance. We walked to Valentine's Cafe for breakfast one morning and had a great meal, some good tea, and a chance to sit outside and enjoy the weather! Roshi and his family do have a pet fish that they asked us to feed, which was no problem for us at all (actually kinda fun!). I really have no complaints, it was a perfect place to stay and comes highly recommended from me!

The location is minutes from downtown and close to lots of bars and restaurants. Zach's place was very cozy and clean. However, the house is older so it does creak. There was a storm the night of our stay that caused doors and windows to slam and the house to creak, which made it difficult to sleep.

Joe's place is awesome! The kitchen is huge and well equipped. The whole place is even bigger than the pictures suggest, with two bedrooms, a dining table, and a comfy living room. Great to have a driveway to safely park my car too! He made checkin and out so easy on us, and after a very terrible travel day (my flight was cancelled!!) it was such a relief that everything was so easy. I truly couldn't have asked for a better weekend and I am so grateful!

Great place in an awesome location. We walked to the Lake and took our dog to the park right next to the house. We walked to restaurants and were downtown in 10 minutes by car. The location is quiet and tne house has everything you need. We would choose it again.
