Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho in northern Nagano Prefecture, blessed with forests, lakes and snow. There are nature-rich sightseeing spots such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi in the vicinity. The building of the pioneering era was renovated fashionably with plenty of natural materials such as pure cedar, cypress and plaster.We also paid attention to the interior and kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy "living". In the back of the building, there is a forest with a stream, and you can enjoy a walk in search of the blessings of nature, as well as swing hammocks.In the east house by the river, you can enjoy BBQ and bonfires without worrying about the weather. This is a house with a superb view overlooking Lake Nojiri. There are several ski slopes (Myoko, Kurohime, and Masao), about 15-20 minutes away, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy a wood-burning sauna and a stunning water bath. There are no private houses around, so you can also watch music and movies with loud noise. Because it is a house nestled deep in the mountains, we do our best, but there are insects during the warmer months.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves are dancing. You must also adjust the fire in the wood stove yourself. It's never an easy home to live in, but with a great view and experience. There is a full counter kitchen with stunning views and condiments and cookers so you can enjoy cooking.(No BBQ equipment)

You rent the entire building, so you don't have to worry about sharing it with others. The house only has a shower, but there is a hot spring nearby. Welcome to Hotaru, which is the only inn in Japan that used to a temple. You will have the entire building just for yourselves! And, check-in/out is done by yourself, so you do not need to worry of being physically close to anyone. Located 5 min drive from JR Urasa station, which is 90 min by a bullet train from Tokyo.　 Hot spring is 10 min walk. A beautiful trekking/jogging course is right in front! There is the public Onsen which is most likely used by locals and also, good Yakiniku shop and Soba within walking distance. Because the room is compact and cozy, it is the best choice for up to 4 people family or group. It has kitchen, bath, restroom, washstand are provided along with dining by 1 Western-room and 1 Japanese-room.
