Surrounded by breathtaking mountains, the area is a haven for winter skiing and summer hiking or biking on endless trails.

Studio with beautiful views of the Saanenland

Our approx. 350-year-old farmhouse contains a newly renovated studio. It is located just above the village of Saanen with beautiful views over large parts of the Saanenland. By car, it can be reached in approx. 5 minutes, whether coming from Schönried or Saanen. In between is the underpass with the turnoff to Unterbort/Abländschen. Always follow the signs for “Sonnenhof.” The underpass is also a bus stop. From there it is still a 15-minute walk to the studio. Pick-up service is possible.

The 58-sqm space in a traditional chalet boasts a wraparound balcony of 30 sqm with impressive views. Skiing, cycling and walking are close, with the iconic ambience of Gstaad just close by. Two ski lifts are each 500 m away. The flat is non-smoking and no-pet.

Relax with the whole family in our new house (built in 2022) on the sunny side of the valley with views in three directions, directly on the Schönried-Gstaad winter hiking trail / summer hiking trail. Four valley stations for skiing are a 5-minute drive away. The free "Gstaad Card" offers special experiences, discounted gondola tickets, and free use of buses and trains around Gstaad, Zweisimmen, and Lenk. It's absolutely fantastic for hiking!

Hiking, biking trails, and ski slopes start nearby. There’s no kitchen, but a full-meal restaurant is next door, with others nearby. Train station, cable cars and shopping within walking distance. Tenants of the house are allowed to book the offers of the Gstaadcard. The house does not have central heating, the fireplace is fired with wood. Works wonderfully!
