Family-friendly holiday rentals in San Juan

Gorgeous spot, very easy beach access, beautiful view, night life next door walking distance, walking distance to many stores and restaurants! Overall a great experience and if I have the blessing to come back to PR, i will stay here. 100% recommending to my peers.

Geoff and Vanessa were wonderful hosts during our stay. They checked in a couple of times during the stay to make sure everything was going well. The made us aware of some local sea turtle hatchling activities on the beach which were so much fun for us and the kids. The condo was clean and spacious and perfecty located to utilize the pools and the beach. We couldn't ask for more gracious hosts and better home base for exploring the island. We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home! The space was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully decorated, it truly felt cozy and welcoming. You can tell the place is cared for with attention to quality and detail. Our host was also very responsive and helpful, quick to reply to questions. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and charming place!

The Happy Yellow Beach house was everything we needed! It was a great location for us to explore Puerto Rico! The home provided all the amenities and space we needed for 6 adults. The pool, hot tub and outdoor spaces were great! We would definitely come back!

Provided address, key code and WiFi prior to our arrival making it easy to request Uber from the airport and readily access our room upon arrival. 24/7 security and attendant at front desk. Historic fort site right across from our balcony. Nice beds. Nice shower. Great A/C. Conveniently located right upstairs of the pool. Walkable to 2 nearby beaches. Condado beach is a little further down Ashford Avenue yet still walkable. Snorkeling right in front of building with lots of tropical fish, starfish and turtles. Easy Uber access pick-up/drop-off steps away by the Caribe Hilton. Definitely a nice unit and wonderful stay. Thank you Wandy and Hernan for making us feel welcomed and checking in to be sure we were enjoying our stay.

What an awesome, eclectic apartment! Right in the middle of all the old San Juan has to offer. Cyrus went over and above in describing the place with videos, written instructions throughout the home and also a video on how to check in (you need to walk thru a small shop). Even with an unexpected 11:30pm arrival…we easily found the place, lockbox and our way into the apartment. While in the middle of bars and restaurants and lively nightlife, once in the room- we had a quiet and peaceful sleep. If you want to be in the middle of all that old San Juan has to offer…this is the place!!!

Mrs Renee was very attentive even before I made it to the villa. I had to fly out of Newark and she was forwarding information she would see about news with delays or cancellations. She was very responsive and provided very good instructions to get to and out of the grounds where the villa was. From the gate to the villa is quite a distance but she advised of this in advance. A car is a must, not so much of an option, if you’re staying at this villa. The place was cozy with a beautiful view. The place was clean and she had a very kind gesture for my daughter since it was her sixteenth bday. Overall, the place was perfect for our short stay.

Mr.Tom was very welcoming. My flight was changed causing me to arrive hours early before check in was scheduled. I contacted Mr.Tom about this and asked him if it was possible to check in a couple hours early. He was very understanding and helpful and allowed me to check in at an early time. The views that you get outside the villas are actually breath taking and memorable. I will definitely make this my go to spot. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING MR.TOM!

Miguel was always very responsive and helpful. He had an amazing home with loving neighbors and the outside patio where the pool, grill table and lounge chairs was very clean. Very spacious to have great time with your family and friends. 5stars all around. Really great guy. It’s no wonder why he is a rare find.

This spot was great for us! It had a cozy at home and community feel being a guest suite, outdoor area, and pups and cats around. The space is small, but worked out for us as we only needed it to sleep and bathe. So nice having items for beach available to us: Towels, chairs, coolers, etc. Gigi was so kind and wish I was able to spend more time with her!

Excellent Airbnb, centrally located near shops and restaurants and a quick drive to Old San Juan. The shared garden is lovely. Highly recommended!

The space was exactly as described and exactly what we needed! Great location - fantastic neighborhood with close restaurants and a short block walk to the beach. It was perfect!

Nilda was an exceptional host. It was just my husband and I and the apartment was perfect for two guests. She was very responsive and was kind enough to let us know some details regarding construction near by and conditions of the building. Very clear instructions and directions for check in and check out. Everything you would need but might forget when you’re on vacation is provided with this Airbnb. We arrived 5 hours prior to our check in time and she let us check in early which was very helpful. Also provided us with the option of checking out late to help accommodate with our departure, although we still left at check out time it was very thoughtful of her. I’d book her Airbnb again.

Beautiful and spacious house in a really excellent location. It's a central, walkable neighborhood, but not as touristy as the adjacent Condado. Perfectly comfortable in the mid-day heat with the AC units in the living room and each bedroom. Great food and culture options nearby, and a show 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk to great urban beaches. The only issue we had on our stay was that some of the windows do not have glass - only storm shutters and screens - and there were some loud noises which kept us up in the night (loud stereo systems, revving cars, and the tiny but shockingly loud Coqui frog which parked right below one of the windows).

13 Sol is dreamy. We were looking for a place with a great outdoor space, views, proximity to touring the town. The terrace was amazing for all times of the day especially breezy evenings. The stairs are no problem and are to be expected in most upper level stays in Viejo San Juan. The place has great character, all the necessities plus extras, is well cooled and is by far the best airbnb we’ve stayed in. All of Viejo is walkable and 13 Sol is in the best pocket of the town with a peaceful street, the best history literally two to three blocks away and the best coffee around within a block or two. Shower was nice and hot, bed perfectly comfortable, WiFi is strong and everything else as it should be. Don’t wait, just book it. It’s the place you want to stay.

So peaceful and extremely convenient location to walk around. The garden is gorgeous and the decor was breathtaking!

Enrique & Sandra’s place felt right at home! The location is private and quiet. The kids enjoyed the pool so much & the view from the deck was amazing. It was located in an area where everything was close by. Would definitely recommend!

After being stranded and having no place to go on our first day at Puerto Rico, Luis came to our rescue with his beautiful airbnb. We were right in the center of everything, food, Walgreens, the beach, and gas stations. I feel like we got the best view of all, with a very comfortable and welcoming balcony.

This was my first time using Air b&b and it was worth it. I traveled to Puerto Rico and came across Alfredo’s listening and it was the best decision I made. The place was clean, beautiful, and as described. The beach is walking distance and so are the restaurants. The pool is cute and private. I will definitely be using this location again if available for my next trip to PR.

I stayed at this property while in Puerto Rico for a wedding with my siblings. The property was just as described and was the perfect stay for us. The property was easy to gain access to and was very clean. The backyard space was phenomenal and the pool was easily one of our favorite parts of our stay. The property is located very close to grocery stores, the beach, and the airport so we never had to drive too far for anything. Communication with the hosting company was easy and fast. I would recommend to others or stay again myself.

Rita was an amazing host. The place was clean, had the best view, was in a great location and we felt safe the whole time. We especially enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony, knowing necessities were accessible at the Walgreens across the street, and great places to eat and drink within walking distance. We hope to return in the future!

Staying at Sandra’s was great! The home was in the middle of everything we wanted to do. The house was clean and everything was as pictured. Sandra was really responsive with everything and lots of recommendations.

Great host stayed at another part of the house and never once bothered us at all. Really nice guy and very informative and always recommending place to go. Would definitely stay there on next visit if available.

I didn't expect to be so close to the beach, but we literally were across the street. Awesome views of the beach to wake to from the room. I just love it all. Perfect for a couple. Very close to the airport and minutes away from Old San Juan and many other great places. Jennifer was very concerned for our satisfaction and Ricardo was always ready to make anything right. I didn't have any problems except getting the guards attention when we first arrived but he probably was making his rounds at the time. Not a big issue.
