The peaceful getaway

You'll have a great time at this brand new modern basement apartment with 1 bed, 1 bath, kitchen, dining and living room, and your own separate entrance . Truly a home away from home. Minutes drive from restaurants, shopping areas, University of Waterloo, Wilfred University and Conestoga College. This basement apartment is in a newly custom built house so the driveway is still gravel but a paved walkway to the apartment from the driveway. We live upstairs so will always be available to help.

We paid for our son to stay here for 1 night leading up to an exam he had at Laurier University the next morning at 8:30am. We live out of town & it was the best decision we could have made, as it made his life so much easier the morning of the exam. Mirabel's place is a newer house in a lovely neighbourhood & according to our son, it was spotless! He informed us the bed was quite comfortable & he got a good night of sleep. He said he would definitely stay here again if the situation ever arose whereby he needs a rental in Waterloo for a night or 2 & he would definitely recommend it to others. Thanks Mirabel for answering my numerous questions quickly & effectively leading up to my son's stay. Much appreciated!

We had a lovely stay. Gladys was friendly, helpful and thoroughly prepared for guests. The rooms were modern, clean and welcoming. If I need a place to stay in Waterloo in future, I will definitely check Glady's home first!
