The cottage is very nice, faithful to the photos and the jacuzzi very appreciable. Celine is very nice. The place is peaceful and very quiet. The only small flaw, if there was one, was that we had to travel a lot to visit some places (we have a small 8-month-old daughter).

Absolutely idyllic property and the perfect place for a relaxed, family holiday. Would love to come back again!

The house was wonderfully spacious, the view beautiful. We could walk into the vineyards and orchard from the garden with our dog for a beautiful walk. When it rained, we could sit in the spacious sitting room. The swimming pool was also well worthwhile. We even got a bike to borrow from Alex, Lucien's son.

Our party (5 couples) stayed at the property looking for an authentic experience of French food and wine, and hoping for a bit of rustic luxury sprinkled on top and this place did not disappoint. Everyone was blown away by the house's beautiful interiors, exteriors and amazing views. The house had everything we needed (and more). We loved the large outdoor table where we could all sit comfortably for a social breakfast and enjoy the stunning vistas. The location of the house is superb, surrounded by beautiful views and very peaceful. The bike ride to St Emillion took us along quiet country roads, meandering past many exquisite chateaus and vineyards. Finally, special mention to our wonderful host Ellie who couldn't do enough for us. Great recommendations, excellent local knowledge, extremely helpful and thoughtful, super fast to respond to any messages, and really flexible and generous.

A stunning location and a wonderful house full of the history.

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

Had a wonderful stay at this home. We had six people and there was plenty of room. The house is very clean and had great lighting-loved the windows. In a very peaceful area and felt very secure. My husband liked the walking trail. Views were awesome and close enough to Bordeaux to pop in to see the sights.

These cottages are a haven of peace, it feels like home, everything has been thought out to promote relaxation and change of scenery, each corner of the house has a plus that makes it even warmer (books, games, pleas, welcome gifts...) it's a real cocoon of little touches that you don't necessarily find elsewhere. Without hesitation, I highly recommend this rental and I think we will be happy to go back! Plus Maïté is a great host! Anais

Everything was done to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. Very welcoming and attentive hosts, tastefully furnished accommodation, well-equipped and embellished with a beautiful garden where young and old will find their happiness!

Shabby chic, minimal, beautiful design concept. Great detail in retaining the history of the building while Including a polished concrete floor throughout with underfloor heating and incorporating iconic design objects.

We spent two amazing weeks at the Olive Tree with our spaniel. The gite was very welcoming with its enclosed decking for those star gazing evenings and private secluded garden ( completely secure for dogs) for chilling by the pool. Veronique has thought of everything you need for your stay and with lots of great recommendations for food and activities. The only restaurant in town Le P’tit Flaujaguais is a short walk from the gite and is a definite must to visit (but do book first). There is plenty to do with bike hire, canoeing and the many walking trails around the area. We found it very hard to leave this beautiful place.

We had a fantastic time in this spacious and cozy farmhouse. A great location, wonderfully quiet and beautifully situated. Enjoy the birds and butterflies in the large garden. Really an ideal place to relax and unwind. We were warmly welcomed by Anne, a very nice and friendly hostess. You feel more than welcome here. If it is up to us, we would like to come back.

Ideal for a discovery stay in the Entre-deux-Mers with family or friends: Small picturesque villages, Bastide de Sauveterre-de-Guyenne 15 minutes away, Saint-Emilion 30 minutes away, Bordeaux 1 hour away... Beautiful quiet place with splendid view on top of a hill surrounded by a few kind of people. The hostess was very responsive and kind.

Thank you for your hospitality, your place had everything we needed including the charm and serenity. The facilities were great however instructions for the TV would have helped and an information pack about the surrounding area, walks, restaurants, villages, coffee shops and super markets etc. obviously chat GPT helped us with this but some people might not be tech savvy. Our 3 nights were were very much enjoyed and although rural, we loved our time here.

Nathalie and Tim were such extraordinary hosts! My family and I had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home! The house itself is perfect for cooking, relaxing, and spending time together. We were able to enjoy the wonderful gardens and the pool all day and watch the sunset from our patio each evening. Such a stunning and relaxing atmosphere. The best part was how well taken care of we felt all week. Nathalie helped organize a tour of local vineyards, scheduled a wine tasting by the pool, and cooked dinner for us all on 2 evenings. She also had great local restaurant and market recommendations! We also loved our morning chocolatines and croissants! They were extremely kind and accommodating throughout the trip - delivering bottles of wine when we ran short, lending us a pot so that we could cook a big stew one night, and even working a miracle helping me removing a grenadine stain from a white dress I bought at a local market. I can’t recommend this wonderful home enough!

We’ve stayed in other places that were a bit cold when the weather had dipped but this place was always at a comfortable temperature. Really nicely furnished too. Thank you 🙏☺️
