Very friendly and spacious accommodation, quiet and peaceful place

The house was wonderfully spacious, the view beautiful. We could walk into the vineyards and orchard from the garden with our dog for a beautiful walk. When it rained, we could sit in the spacious sitting room. The swimming pool was also well worthwhile. We even got a bike to borrow from Alex, Lucien's son.

Thank you both for your friendly welcome. But also for the care and comfort offered by your home and the environment of your property.

We spent two amazing weeks at the Olive Tree with our spaniel. The gite was very welcoming with its enclosed decking for those star gazing evenings and private secluded garden ( completely secure for dogs) for chilling by the pool. Veronique has thought of everything you need for your stay and with lots of great recommendations for food and activities. The only restaurant in town Le P’tit Flaujaguais is a short walk from the gite and is a definite must to visit (but do book first). There is plenty to do with bike hire, canoeing and the many walking trails around the area. We found it very hard to leave this beautiful place.

Vanessa and Sébastien's accommodation is simply superb: impeccably clean, perfectly maintained, and located in a peaceful and enchanting setting. The warm welcome they give to their guests immediately makes you feel at home. An unforgettable experience that I recommend without hesitating!

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

This small studio is ideal for resting. Very well equipped, very comfortable bedding. The pool is lovely. Stéphane and Karine are very welcoming and available. On-site parking, very convenient for motorcyclists!

Very nice accommodation in a wonderful quiet large park. The roses are fragrant and the terrace offers plenty of space to relax. You can hear the birds in the evening as well as the frogs at the pond... it was a great three days, a perfect end to the city.

Lovely stay and such a lovely host. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the water temperature in the shower kept switching from hot to cold but we were very happy otherwise.

Suzon was the most amazing friendly host. She welcomed us into her home and made our stay very enjoyable. The gite was perfect for us, equipped kitchen, comfortable and outdoor cooking facilities. Lovely pool area. Nice and quiet. Beautiful walks. We were invited to a wine tasting evening and Suzon was a fantastic host and cooked the most beautiful ‘French tapas’! Great stay, thank you.

Wonderful home in the small charming town of Monségur. Host was easy to communicate with and attentive. Nice kitchen allowing us to cook one evening. Home exactly as described.

I rented this home to enjoy some family and friend time away from otherwise hectic French travel. This was perfect! It felt like staying in the home of a dear friend or family member. And, the host recommended a private chef who provided cooking lessons and a birthday luncheon! Unforgettable!! Unlike any other Airbnb property for its charming hosts, the beautiful character of the property and the amenities we enjoyed. Lots of nearby wineries, Bergerac had great charm and food, boat ride on the Dordogne, and more. No one wanted to leave! We hope to return!! Merci beaucoup, Karen & Charlie!!

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

Beautiful home and grounds! Well equipped with all necessary supplies. Communication with Caroline was excellent! Always with a quick response to questions and even worked out a birthday cake and wine for our traveling friend. Nice outside seating area to enjoy by the pool. Would highly recommend!

We felt very comfortable at the place. A beautiful, charming property with old, cool buildings. Too bad it was just a one-night stopover! The communication was great. In addition: Sylvain gave us an exciting introduction to his wine production and we were able to purchase some wonderful wines. We will be happy to come back.

A house by a small lake, peaceful and very pleasant to live in, with an original, personalized and tasteful decor. Ideal for a discovery stay in the Entre-deux-Mers with family or friends: Small picturesque villages, Bastide de Sauveterre-de-Guyenne 15 minutes away, Saint-Emilion 30 minutes away, Bordeaux 1 hour away... Thank you to Michelle and her husband for their warm welcome.

A really lovely place surrounded by vineyards and with easy access to local towns. Bordeaux is a 90 min drive through some charming villages. I brought my dog and she loved the fenced garden. She loved Jonathan too! In fact, both Jonathan and Lesley are the most welcoming, considerate, generous and helpful of hosts. I stayed for a few weeks and would return in a heartbeat.

As always with Joelle, the stay is wonderful. Thank you to her for her kindness, availability and the places that offer quality accommodation. Looking forward to returning to Monségur and staying there again!

Excellent weekend spent in Elodie's accommodation! We were a small group of friends and were able to enjoy the area and the house! No complaints and Élodie is a very friendly host, attentive and responsive. I'll come back and I highly recommend it:)

Very lovely place with a beautiful view

We loved staying with Stephanie. The gite is modern, tastefully decorated and has everything you need. The view of the vineyards is beautiful and we enjoyed our walks through them. In terms of location it’s perfect for exploring the local area, we followed many of Stephanie’s tips and they were always spot on. We’d love to come back again next time we’re in the area.
