Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. The walnut tree is our beautiful, comfortable gite. Look out the window and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and nature this area of the Dordogne has to offer. Keep an eye out for deer, owls, red squirrels and many more. We are directly opposite the river beach of Saint Aulaye and on the edge of this historic old village. Wander up the hill to the boulangerie, shops and weekly market. Launderette facilities available in the village.

We offer an oenological getaway in the land of the wine castles of the Canon Fronsac called also Tuscany Bordelaise . Only 6 minutes from Libourne, 25 minutes from Saint-Emilion, 35 minutes from Bordeaux, and 1 hour from ocean beaches, it is ideally located for you to discover our wonderful wine region.

The guest house "Le figuier du clos d'Emilion" adjoins our house, which has been completely renovated and tastefully furnished to offer all modern comforts. They have a fully equipped kitchen and a shared garden with barbecue, plancha and fryer. The fruit trees offer you sunny or shady places and we have installed sunbeds for your comfort. "Le clos d'Emilion" is located 5 minutes from the village of Saint Emilion and a few steps from the Dordogne.

We welcome you for holidays with family or groups of friends. Recently renovated, the gite has comfortable bedding to rest, tennis court for fun, and walking paths. The gite has a private terrace, with views of the forest and the inner courtyard with 17th century châtelet. In spring it's the perfect season to listen and see nature waking up. We have animals: horses, chickens, an adorable dog, and the local wildlife often present.
