Monthly Rentals in Saint Blazey Gate

A lovely cornish cottage with great garden for our dog & very convenient parking right outside thd front door which is good for the price. A good & handy welcome guide. We walked to Charlestown which only takes 15 minutes & is beautiful, had a coffee & really nice stroll, beach & harbor walk. We drove to Mevagissey which only takes 20 minutes, enjoyed the atmosphere, shops & a pasty here. The only downside was couldn't find anywhere nice right where we were like a cafe. Busy traffic but quieter at night. Only tip for cottage would be curtains for room our daughter stayed in for coziness & block light out more & a curtain to go accross front door for the same reasons. Other than that its a spacious, pretty & clean cottage, checking in and out was simple. Thank you.

Modern and clean space. Nice garden to use with excellent views. Very private even though Simon and Sally are next door. Would definitely visit again

We had a wonderful week staying at the Spry's. It was peaceful and quiet, listening to the bird song from the bedroom with a cup of tea, perfect! The Spry's is cosy and compact, it's very cute, and the outside space was beautiful. Being able to access the gardens was fantastic, we nearly had the whole garden to ourselves! We loved being able to walk to the beach, the Eden project and the local pub, so we didn't have to use our car, just power walk up the hill back to the cottage! James was super welcoming, showed us around and gave us recommendations of places to eat and drink, and the gentleman who was working in the garden (sorry we missed his name!) told us about some local beaches that were quiet and beautiful. We only wish we'd had more time as the week went so quickly, we'll definitely be back!

Helen and Richard are fantastic hosts and I would recommend this beautiful b&m to anyone visiting the area. They allowed use of an outside plug to charge my car (reimbursing them for electricity used), a 10m outdoor-suitable extension cable is needed to reach the car. The beds are comfortable and enormous! The bedrooms being downstairs stay cool in the summer, living room and kitchen upstairs get a bit toasty but a fan by the open window does the trick. Some notable places to visit: Screech owl sanctuary, The Ship Inn (Pentewan) does the best gravy ever, Eden Project is just round the corner too- it takes longer to walk through their car park than it does to drive from here! Should we visit the area again, Helen and Richard will be first on our list to host us, it was a pleasure. Thank you!
