Waterfront holiday rentals in Saint Croix River

The house was extremely clean, very well kept inside and out. Beautiful view of the lake with a pier to tie your boat along with electricity. Very gracious host and were still warm chocolate chip cookies for us on the kitchen table at our arrival. Spacious bedroom, living room, dining room and bathroom with all amenities. My wife and i will definitely recommend to all and go back again.

My son and I had a great stay at Serendipity! Bob and Lisa's place was a perfect getaway from the city. Bob and Lisa were great communicators and checked to make sure our stay was going well. The space itself was perfect for the 2 of us. The lake is right outside the door and we took advantage of the offered kayaks to get out on the water. We caught better than 50 fish right off the dock! We are already planning our return trip next summer!

I absolutely have nothing negative to say! This place was exactly as described. It was super cozy, immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, full of amenities, and the owners were beyond quick with their communication. Five stars!!

Josephine's apartment is in a great location with walkable restaurants nearby. The apartment was super clean with quality linens, towels, and toiletries. The beds were very comfortable!! The bird theme throughout is tastefully done. We enjoyed our week at The Bird Nest and plan to return in the future!

My husband and I stayed here over our wedding weekend and we were impressed with our stay! It is an absolute gem and we will recommend this place to everyone. We loved that the owner put in a lot of thought when it came to their guests, the bathroom cabinet was stocked with many things in case you missed anything in your travel bags! Overall the place is very cozy, well organized and clean!

So great that we came here a second time! This property is a slice of heaven. Gorgeous sunset views. Kayaks and paddle boats were perfect for our young family being able to paddle to the sand bars and enjoy the lake. “Serenity” is such a perfect description. We will be back again next summer, Lord willing!

Sunset Shores is an absolute gem. From the moment we stepped inside, we knew we had found something special. The home is beautifully updated with a clean, modern design that still manages to feel incredibly cozy and welcoming. Every detail has been so thoughtfully considered — it’s clear that Sarah, the hosts, take great pride in offering an exceptional guest experience. The location was absolutely beautiful. Nestled in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood but right on the Mississippi River, it offered the perfect balance of privacy and natural beauty. It was truly lovely to sit out on the deck or in the three-season porch and watch the river go by. The calming sound of the water and the serene surroundings made it easy to relax and unwind. I do not have enough space here to write everything I want about how wonderful this home was but I will just say Sarah the host was amazing to work with the houses and location are beautiful and I look very much forward to a future stay here.

My friends and I stayed here for my bachelorette weekend and it was everything I’d hoped for and more! We were looking for somewhere quiet outside of the cities and this place definitely delivered. The hot tub was a hit, we fished off the dock (and actually caught something!) and the house itself was gorgeous. There were plenty of beds for 8 of us to buddy up and they were VERY comfortable. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for our large group and made it easy to socialize while preparing meals. Though it did rain most of our stay, the size of the space allowed us to enjoy each other’s company without feeling cramped. The separate apartment was a great bonus as well and offered some additional privacy, plus the one-time extra fee is very reasonable for what you get. Overall, I have no complaints about the location and our host was very responsive anytime we had a question that needed addressing. 10/10 experience and I hope to stay here again in the future!

Our family truly enjoyed our stay. The weather was a little rainy, but even on the rainy days there was plenty of family fun to be had. And we were able to take advantage of the beautiful moments when the sun did peak out and get out and enjoy the beach and the kayaks and the firepit. It was a perfect getaway!

My family had a wonderful stay at Grey Duck Lodge. The house is beautiful and comfortable, and we appreciated the welcoming touches. I come from California every year to see my dad, but this was the first time staying in a house with my brothers and their wives. Grey Duck was perfect for this, lots of room to stretch out with plenty of spaces to be together and separate. There’s plenty to do in the area so we had the perfect combination of being active and relaxing. Kathy was great with quick responses to my questions. We also loved the selection of games since it rained quite a bit while we were there. We will definitely consider staying again next year.

We stayed two nights, mid-week, and found Erin’s place perfect for our needs. The views of the lake cannot be beat, we walked to dinner each night (and back for ice cream once!) and the area is charming. The unit is exactly as described. It was comfortable, well maintained and had everything we needed. Highly recommend and we will definitely stay again!

Gull Lake Beach Resort provided the perfect setting for a memorable family vacation. With its beautiful location, family-friendly activities, and clean accommodations, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway!

The view from the room of Lake Superior was nothing short of surreal - just as advertised. I do think that the room next to ours was a little too close for comfort because our balconies were adjacent and their layout can be like a hotel. Apart from that, the staff are responsive and helpful. The amenities work as advertised and the location is easily accessible through the lake walk if you want to go into canal park. We had a relaxing stay and know that we paid $$ to be at the water's edge, sitting by the fireplace, in the cozy living room.

Beautiful, well-appointed condo in a great location! Loved the decor…photos of local landmarks, exposed brick, etc. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you could need. My boys loved the pool and hot tub. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The location was ideal - close to shops, restaurants and the lakefront. The Brix offers discounts at many of the local establishments. Duluth is such a cool city and a great home base for exploring the North Shore of Minnesota. Highly recommend this AirBnB and hope to visit again!

Would happily stay there again! The place was perfect and was very walkable to everything Bayfield has to offer. Comfortable and clean with a great view of the water. Big thanks to our wonderful host!

This was a great condo. It is clean and well stocked. It is close to the lake and docking the boat was easy.
