Beachfront holiday rental in Saint-Germain-sur-Ay

Pleasant and well-equipped gite. It felt good there. The sea a few steps away is a real plus. Tranquillity is total. During our stay the weather was very pleasant, so we took advantage of the good advice received during the welcome. It should be noted that the upstairs rooms are arranged in a row. However, there is a sofa bed on the ground floor. We are back in Maine and Loire, but already want to come back...

Beautiful, very clean house with garden in a pleasant and very quiet neighborhood with access to the beach on foot in 2 minutes. Clothilde was courteous and responsive during our exchanges.

I've been to a lot of Airbnbs, but Dominique's apartment at the old port of Granville was great. Perfect location and parking space in front of the door. The next morning after arrival, she brought a baguette and fresh croissants. Bottle of cider upon arrival. In the apartment, everything was really present, if you want to cook you lack nothing. South-facing location with the sun all day. Good restaurants next door, but still everything is very quiet in the apartment. Except for the seagulls that loudly announce the arrival of the fishing boats, but that was also the great charm for us.

We had a lovely weekend. The accommodation was as Virginie described, peaceful and a beautiful view of the bay and Mont St Michel. Small touches were waiting for us in the accommodation. Communication with Virginie was extremely friendly.

Great place, very well equipped! Everything is explained in a booklet and it makes life easier! Self check-in and self check-out. Close to the sea on foot, no need to take out the car! The beach parking and games overlook the garden and the house. The bar is nice (blindtest during our stay) but can be noisy in summer (?). We had a good stay in May!

The place was true to the photos, close to the sea while being in a peaceful neighborhood. Due to a constraint on our organization we shifted our arrival schedule and Mathilde quickly adapted to us. The house is really warm, comfortable and very well decorated. We'll be happy to go back. The little extra: the little gourmet gift for the welcome. I sincerely recommend this house for a stay for both the place and the host!

Excellent host, great house with loads of space, kids loved the pool. Close to the marina,bars,restaurants and the beach.

We had a very nice family stay at Géraldine's place which is ideally located: we went to the beach on foot every day and we took full advantage of the access to the heated pool as well as the bar (yummy the waffles and ice cream), the children's playground and the educational farm at the nearby partner campsite. The sunny weather only enhanced the experience. The deckchairs and garden furniture on the terrace are a real plus! As well as the many toys made available for children. They had a great time, we felt like we were at home. Not to mention the large amount of dishes made available in the accommodation. Friendly and very pleasant stay!

Absolutely wonderful place. The house had everything a family would need and more. Situated 4 minutes from the sea side it is a perfect spot for those who enjoy evening walks on the beach. Heated pool was a luxury and when the weather was a bit cooler we made most of it. Plenty of places to explore all around. Would definitely recommend for families looking for a peaceful break. Great hosts, beautiful place, a home away from home.

The cottage offered by Sophie is a real little corner of paradise! The exterior is great with its large, well-equipped terrace with the large table, the seating area and the sunbathing. The pergola is a real plus to be able to enjoy when it is cooler or too hot! The small seating area in the sand is also nice and it's great for children! The interior of the cottage is very beautiful, modern and carefully decorated. It is very well equipped and there is everything you need in the kitchen and in the bathroom and also small games for children in the bedroom and beach games outside and it's a good idea! In addition, the big positive point is the large indoor and heated pool next to the cottage that the children and adults loved!! Also everything is within walking distance, the beach and shops. Everything is designed for a good stay! Thank you to Sophie for her responsiveness, kindness and little touches! We recommend it 100%!

We had a good stay in Barneville! The accommodation is completely in line with the description and photos, and is very well located. Everything is well thought out to welcome travelers, the game room and the pool are very appreciable (we enjoyed the pool with young children despite its depth). The house in the dunes is beautifully located and at least as beautifully decorated. Everything is very clean and well cared for and Marion responds quickly and is helpful. You can walk into the dunes on the beach or relax in the pool or on a lounger in the sun. The only thing that was a little different than I thought is that the house is a little close to the public road. Not many people come by, but it is just a little less private. This would not prevent me from recommending this house and coming back again. It is also still very quiet and peaceful. Thank you Marion!

We had a very good stay at Virginie's, the beach 50m walk is a real asset and offers a very nice view. The apartment is very well-equipped.

Being a family of 6 adults and 2 children of one and a half and two years old, we were delighted to have stayed with Anne. The view is really splendid from the living room and overlooks the beach, without overlooking neighbors. And the garden is large, well maintained and well equipped, which is very pleasant in good weather. The location is very quiet and there are public parking lots a few meters away that are very often available (for a stay in late May), which was very convenient for us, having come with 3 cars. The kitchen is also well equipped. The beds are generally comfortable (the small bedroom is below the others). Note that there are no child safety barriers at the stairs, but this did not bother us. And the toilets are located exclusively upstairs. Finally, Anne's welcome was warm and friendly. We recommend it without hesitation!

A very nice, brand new and welcoming Airbnb. All rooms are nice. Decor is thoughtful. The view from the deck is superb. Only a low-traffic road separates the view from the beach. The sunsets are beautiful. Granville is 20 minutes by car, Saint Paire sur Mer 15 minutes on foot. There is a beautiful hiking trail that passes just below the house. Christian is a perfect host.

We had a fantastic holiday. The cottage was super clean and all the necessities were provided. One minute walk to the beautiful beach. Highly recommended!

I'm reluctant to write a review simply because the apartment and surroundings of the harbour were STUNNING and I would rather no one else knew about this gem so that its available whenever we want to stay :-) . The apartment was spotless and extremely comfortable and had everything you could want for a fabulous stay. The view is amazing and we spent the summer evenings sitting watching from the lounge , across the harbour. Totally relaxing . Paul was there to meet us when we arrived and couldn't do enough to ensure we had everything we needed . We hope to return very soon . One word STUNNING !
