Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port

Maialen's house is as described, close to downtown Saint Jean Pied de Port and the supermarket, everything can be done on foot. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant and the view is beautiful. Maialen welcomed us perfectly and made us very helpful recommendations. Only small downside: it is missing some essential food products (a little oil, salt and vinegar) as well as some kitchen cleaning products and hand soap. Otherwise, it has everything you need. The garden and terrace are very nice in good weather and we were even able to enjoy the barbecue! We had a lovely stay.

We stayed here as a stopover on our way back from Spain, and it was absolutely perfect. The house was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and incredibly relaxing — exactly what we needed after a long drive. We brought our two dogs with us, and they settled in straight away. It’s a peaceful, welcoming place that made us feel right at home. Would definitely stay again!

A spotless accommodation and very well located. In a quiet residential area close to the forest, allowing for beautiful walks. A real little cocoon where you feel good with a fenced garden, great for our little fur balls! Super well equipped, there is really everything you need in the accommodation! We arrived independently but Annabelle and Laurent were very responsive and clear in their instructions. We strongly recommend!

Authentic house in a very quiet environment without neighbors. Very pleasant stay in a beautiful region with many walks for those who like to hike with elevation. House very well located close to Biarritz, Spain, the ocean and the main Basque villages... We'll be there again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Central to the coast, the mountains, lots of walks and villages with good food and interesting history. Very nicely furnished and everything we needed. It is always a good sign when the kitchen knives are nice and sharp! We really appreciated Jackie’s help .

Annick is charming and her accommodation is great! The tranquility you can breathe is incredible! The pool in the courtyard is TOP! It even has a couple of bikes available to enjoy. My partner and our dog went and we felt at home. Thank you for your kindness and we hope to be back soon with a little more time!!

We just spent 10 wonderful nights here. What can I say apart from it was perfect. Yves and Scarlett are great hosts. They are on hand if you need them but very discreet the rest of the time. The barn is very well equipped and has everything needed to self cater. The grounds are amazing and kept in fantastic condition - we regularly used the pool and hot tub. There are 4 resident donkeys, a small dog and a cat. All are lovely - the donkeys are a pleasure to watch. We went out to a town called Salies de Bearn and would highly recommend it for nice scenery, cafes, bars and restaurants. There are supermarkets and bakeries in nearby towns. The hosts are great at making recommendations. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back ☺️

One can see the love and energy that was put into the house and we appreciated your warm welcome and fell ourselves immediately at home once we arrived. Fantastic house!!!! Very attentive Albert and Helene, solving anything at the moment. Upon our arrival they welcomed us with homemade jam, a very good pate and eggs from their beloved chickens that sipped our puppy... I recommend this history-filled home with a fabulous setting, surrounded by charming villages. The house and setting are much better than the pictures. We will definitely repeat. Best regards.

Thanks to Cathy, who has always been friendly and responsive, and her house, we were able to celebrate the retirement of two of our friends in the best way. Beautiful Basque house with a large garden and a large swimming pool. The space on the ground floor is perfect for eating and having a good time in case of rain. Many rooms upstairs, nice dormitory and several bathrooms for everyone (there were 24 of us). Do not hesitate to rent this house, especially since the setting is beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful typical Basque Country house. We can only recommend and would be very happy to come back next time.

The minute i saw the view of the beach that was where we wanted to stay! It was perfect and close to restaurants. 5 was a late checkin but we made it work…took a later bus and had supper at a restaurant close by. As it turned out Maxime was able to let us in a wee bit earlier which we appreciated!! It was a great overnite stay and i would definitely stay there again!

Jérôme and Elise are very welcoming, attentive and responsive hosts. We had a great stay, cut off from the world in the heart of Béarn. It's the perfect place to turn off your phones and get back to the simple things. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. The aperitif board was a nice surprise for the end of our stay. We'll be happy to go back!

We had a fantastic stay in this cottage just outside Espelette. The cottage itself is super neat, quietly located and equipped with every comfort. What makes this place extra special is the hospitality of our host. She had prepared all kinds of local delicacies for us on arrival — a really warm welcome. During our stay, she thought of everything with us and did everything to make us happy. That made it very personal and pleasant.

Monique is indeed a super host, smiling, kind, and responsive to my messages. She is good advice when it comes to hiking and what to see in the area. The accommodation is impeccable and spacious, located in a quiet area, close to other cities to visit (example St Jean de Pied de port). Our short stay in the Basque country was very successful. We strongly recommend!

On a business trip, we had a pleasant stay in Jean Dominique's apartment. The setting is beautiful and very peaceful. The accommodation is well-equipped and functional, with spacious rooms and good bedding. The hosts are very welcoming and attentive. Only small downside: the wifi doesn't work very well, otherwise everything was perfect. Many thanks!

We came to spend a weekend with the family at Iulia and Alistair's and what can we say? Their house is a true haven of peace: the terrace, the animals, the river, the little touches... Everything was perfect! 🌞 We only had a small hot water problem but it was resolved very quickly thanks to Iulia's availability! Thank you again! We will come back to spend some beautiful days here, that's for sure!
