Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer

La maison est située au calme dans un lotissement dans une position stratégique idéale si on veut se concentrer sur les activités/musées du débarquement, côté américain: A 15 min à pieds d'Omaha Beach et un peu moins du musée, et ensuite dans un rayon de 10 min en voiture des autres musées (Overlord, D Day, cimetière américain). La maison est de plein pieds, spacieuse, décorée sobrement. Ses 3 chambres avec placards, deux salles de bain permettent un accueil d'une grande famille sans problème. La cuisine est fonctionnelle. Le jardin est très bien entretenu et bien vaste. On peut manger dehors abrité. Le wifi en revanche n'est pas très opérationnel.. Nous sommes passés par nos réseaux finalement. Nous avons eu un petit incident technique qui s'est immédiatement résolu dès le lendemain matin de notre arrivée tardive. Les hôtes ont le souci de bien recevoir, c'est important.

Celine's place is fantastic! There was plenty of room for our family of 5. House was clean, nicely decorated and kitchen was well stocked to prepare dinner after a trip to the grocery store. Beds were comfortable and the view of the English Chanel was great! Location was excellent! Short drive to D-Day activities and Bayeux. It was a short walk down to the English Channel, which made for very relaxing evenings. House was very easy to find and operating the lock box was easy as well. Everything was as described and we were very pleased with our experience overall. Highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Un cadre exceptionnel et authentique, rénové avec beaucoup de goût par le propriétaire, qui habite sur place. Excellente communication de la part de l'hôte, qui est disponible et qui nous a accueilli dès la sortie de la voiture. Je recommande!

This house was the perfect accommodation for family of 5. We were able to spread out, and have some privacy (with room to spare.) Loic was responsive and helpful. The house itself and the linens were very clean. The location was very quiet, beautiful, and somewhat walkable. Definitely walkable to Omaha beach, however without renting a car you’d be stranded with no means to go anywhere else. The area is very secluded with no reliable Ubers. All amenities including dishwasher and washing machine worked perfectly. I would definitely book this accommodation again! Recommendations : There were no mirrors in any of the bedrooms, only the bathrooms. Would be helpful to add mirrors to the bedrooms. Additionally, the night stands in one of the twin bedrooms had a light, but no cord attached to it to make it functional.

A great place to stay if: 1. You are visiting the D-Day beaches, especially Utah, Omaha and the American Cemetery, and Gold Beach, and some of the museums. Or if: 2. You are looking for a place that is calm, quiet, tiny community. Alexander’s place is easy access in a sort of out-of-the-way area, not much for services around. There is a Total petrol station to the east, and a bit farther U Express grocery which is fairly large and has a good selection. I recommend this place highly for a stay in Normandy, close to the attractions. Be sure to test the crepes at Aux Délices d’Alice a few km to the west in Vierville-sur-Mer. It is a tiny food wagon next to the highway; I believe there is a walk in restaurant there also.

Annick et Michel sont très accueillants, le logement est très propre, et comme sur les photos.

We really enjoyed the home. It was so spacious and sparkling clean! Everything looked brand new and larger than the photos made it appear. Victor was a great communicator. Loved having a washer and dryer.

Das Apartment war makellos sauber, modern und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Lage ist super, mehrere Restaurants sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die schnelle und freundliche Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt und würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

Nous sommes restés 3 jours chez Anne et avons beaucoup apprécié l appartement et sa localisation. La vue est très belle. Les échanges avec Anne ont été faciles et agréables. Nous recommandons!

As others have mentioned this is an excellent holiday flat and superb base from which to explore Normandy and the beautiful city of Caen. The flat is clean, comfortable and is very well equipped for self-catering though the nearby town center bars and restaurants may tempt you out at little more that you planned. Highlights include secure and convenient parking, excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and the bonus of a lovely private garden to kick back while sampling the local calvados in the evening. As mentioned the flat is very central with a five minute walk into the center for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Caen itself is full of surprises with beautiful churches and abbeys combined with a very laid back atmosphere. Though we did not meet Christine her ongoing communication was both discrete and charming. Book you wont regret it. 5 stars all round

LE MEILLEUR logement que nous avons fait ☺️ Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement très propre, bien aménagé et parfaitement fonctionnel. Il y avait absolument tout le nécessaire et même plus, pour se sentir comme chez soi. Le lit est très confortable et la vue depuis l'appartement, donnant directement sur le port, est superbe. L’emplacement est idéal : à deux pas de la plage, avec de nombreux restaurants à proximité. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié Le Flot Bleu, une excellente adresse à découvrir. Le quartier est agréable, tout peut se faire à pied, et le stationnement est facile à proximité, ce qui est vraiment pratique. Sandrine a été très réactive, disponible et accueillante, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Nous recommandons ce logement sans hésiter et y reviendrons avec plaisir !

Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment, une parenthèse magique dans un endroit cocooning et paisible. L’appartement est très calme et très bien réfléchi dans les moindres détails et accessoires. Merci Delphine pour ce joli moment.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The view was amazing and the place had everything we were looking for. The host was very responsive when we needed to reach her. I would definitely recommend this place to others who are looking to get away from the city for a few days.

Agréable séjour chez karin. Proche du centre ville et de la mer. Commerce à proximité et belle balade à faire le long du littoral.

Le logement d’Anne est idéal. Il est tres bien situé, à proximité immédiate de la mer avec ses grandes plages. Il est décoré avec beaucoup de goût. C’est véritable petit cocon dans une des maisons emblématique du célèbre architecte Guimard. Le logement proposé par David est tip top ! Le calme, une vue imprenable sur la mer, coucher de soleil depuis la "terrasse véranda", un emplacement à 20 minutes de Caen qui permet de profiter de la ville, de la campagne et des bords de mer ! Quoi dire d'autre ? Un hôte disponible, et pour finir, une déco sympa qui rajoute du charme à ce we en amoureux sur les plages de Normandie ! Les yeux fermés vous pouvez louer!

Un logement pratique, bien équipé et à la décoration sobre, idéalement situé sur le port de Grandcamp, dans une résidence parfaitement sécurisée. Tout est accessible à pied, les restaurants, les commerces et la plage...

Wir wurden herzlichst empfangen. Wir wurden herumgeführt und uns wurde alles gezeigt. Die Gegend ist sehr schön und man kann vieles unternehmen. Ein Spaziergang am Strand ist ein Muss. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und bietet alles was man braucht.

My son and I stayed 2 nights in Yannicks apartment, it has restored my faith in air bnb after a dreadful experience in Paris, the apartment is better than the pictures, the location is 10/10, the apartment was immaculately clean, I slept on the sofa and it was the most comfortable bed I have slept in since arriving in France 1 week ago. The town of Bayeux is the prettiest town I have ever seen and the apartment was 5 minutes walk to everything we needed. THANK YOU for allowing us to stay in your amazing apartment Yannick.

El apartamento es estupendo. Está bien equipado. Olivier ha sido muy atento y ha resuelto nuestras preguntas. El lugar es muy bonito y es un punto de partida ideal para visitar las playas del Desembarco y la parte de L,Havre. Muy cerca de la playa. Lo recomiendo 100%
