Holiday rentals with beach access in Saint Lawrence River

It's a real little paradise! The place is very beautiful and very well maintained, I would even say impeccable! We had a warm welcome from the host Richard, smiling and available! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a stay in nature and very quiet… the city is not very far away with everything you need!

The accommodation is perfect for spending a few quiet days. The view from the living room is beautiful and very pleasant to accompany meals. Hikes are offered a few steps from the house, get ready to climb. The accommodation is fully equipped and clean, nothing to complain about. The shower is slightly aggressive but it can be effective for waking up.

Outside for aquatic enthusiasts, everything is there. Terrace with fireplace, etc... as shown in the photos. If you are looking for calm, the dock by the lake will delight you; the house is located in the heart of the village which is quite busy and noisy during the day (that's life) but around 8:00 p.m. everything is quieter; everything is central, everything is done on foot, grocery store, etc... You won't have a view of the lake from inside, you have to leave the house and go to the grounds. There was only one exit from the house, no emergency exit, maybe the windows adjacent to the sidewalk were one. I enjoyed my stay, the hosts were very helpful and I recommend it to everyone according to your needs, everything is there.

Great place for our group. Good places to sit around inside and on the deck. Great views. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Great stay at Susan’s place! Everything you could need for a stay in Portland with a great host. Spotless and private apartment with great local recommendations, and Susan left us donuts on the day we left! Would absolutely stay again.

If you like what you see in the photos you will like what you see when you check in. Lots of room, Very very clean. As the unit is a lower level unit ( but ground level) you have a flight of stairs from the parking lot to the entrance (if stairs matters in your selection) we had a rainy weekend so we couldn’t get a fire going in the fire pit so we are hoping our next visit to the area we could try it out. You are right along the biking trails, a short walk to the Petit North so well located

Beautiful place. Unobstructed view of the river, exactly as in the photos. No smell of sulfur in the water, contrary to what some previous comments said. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend it.

Exceeded our expectations!

I booked this for a late birthday celebration of a loved one. We were in awe of how beautiful it was! The view when you sit down at the dining counter in the morning is breathtaking. I was thinking of ways to actually buy the place lol! There was definitely a feminine touch that i noticed right away: Q-tips, round cotton pads, tampons. It was so thoughtful and refreshing to see something different, i love having q-tips wherever i go. Another thing, i was not prepared to how much kitchen ustensiles, seasonings there were. They really thought about EVERYTHING! flour, sugar, different sizes of skillets, etc… i plan to rebook again and again! It was worth every penny. I honestly wish more airbnb owners were this considerate in their planning. From the multiple games in the living room to the extra blankets in case it gets cold, there was a genuine thought behind it. The place is decorated so beautifully and cozy, got me thinking of moving in the mountains. Thank you so much Alex & Sarah!

We came here for a private getaway on our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The price was a bit much, but for such a special time I felt it was worth it at the time I booked, and worth it it certainly was. beautiful, quiet, serene, it was perfect for a getaway. I would absolutely recommend, and I already have, this stay. 10/10

Had a wonderful weekend vacation away to Henry and Jessica’s cottage, it was very peaceful and relaxing the hottub was amazing the cottage had beautiful scenery it was amazing, we all went in the lake on the canoe and paddle boards and we went swimming in the lake and enjoyed the beautiful fireplace down by the lake. We will definitely be back in the near future and would recommend this air bnb to anyone ! Was the perfect getaway close to home.

What a magical place superb maison is! The island is just lovely and quiet but still so close to Quebec. the PERFECT escape. the gorgeous farms, architecture, fresh local produce, exquisite restaurants, bakeries and fromageries are like stepping back in time. A real joy and so peaceful.

Luc's place was absolutely exceptional. So beautiful and clean and accomodating to our needs. The house has everything you need, there is a nice big hot tub in a private gazebo, and the private beach on the amazing lake is very close. Luc brought out two kayaks for us and we had a marvelous time on the lake. Cannot recommend enough.

Very nice chalet, nice atmosphere and perfect place to rest. Loved our stay.

Great long weekend - the perfect “staycation” for relaxation. The walk down to the water was beautiful, the views are truly wonderful, location was awesome. Easy ride to the state park. Always nice to find a home where we can bring the dog, and have it be clean and well cared for! Hot tub did not disappoint.

The condo was very beautiful and homey. We spent most of our stay indoors because it rained, and we enjoyed every second! Everything was as described and well taken care of. Basia and Bradley checked in on us throughout our stay and gave us plenty of recommendations. Looking forward to staying there again!

They condo was one of the best 3 we have ever stayed in. We loved and appreciated all the little touches. We were extremely grateful for the wine, chocolates, cookies...it was nice to discover this after our drive. The condo was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and it truly is a home away from home. We stayed for almost 2 weeks and didn't want to leave yet! It's a nice 1/2 mile walk to the lake and ice cream:). Restaurants, grocery store and other retail is about a 1 mile walk. We absolutely loved the location. We hope to be back again.

My third time there. We visit the Basilica which a short ride away and the city which is very easy to get to. All is near. Them place is spacious and ample. Deck is open great view.

We had a great time! The condo is clean, cozy, and comfortable. I highly recommend this AirBnB, especially for the beach proximity.
