Holiday rentals with a kayak in Saint Lawrence River

My family and I had a lovely stay at Dean’s place. It’s just as depicted in the photos with gorgeous ocean views inside and outside. Our two boys had a great time wandering the shoreline hunting for treasure and exploring Acadia daily. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck & even saw a bald eagle one morning! We’d love to return when the boys are older and make use of the kayaks!

This was our second time staying and it was just as good as the first! Nancy is so friendly and even offered us a late check out without our asking. The house has everything we need for a relaxing end of the school year getaway. We have an annual end of the school year trip and hopefully this will continue being our go to spot for years to come! The views, the layout, the space, the tranquility, the hot tub, 10/10!

Excellent stay! Like every time I go. It was nice to see these beautiful places again in the summer. Everything is always very good and clean. Then I thank them again for being flexible with the arrival time. Sometimes a little awkward, such as with the reception of the owners before even entering the premises or meeting them regularly. But they are there if there is anything at least.

Great long weekend - the perfect “staycation” for relaxation. The walk down to the water was beautiful, the views are truly wonderful, location was awesome. Easy ride to the state park. Always nice to find a home where we can bring the dog, and have it be clean and well cared for! Hot tub did not disappoint.

Absolutely fantastic place in the heart of the Adirondacks. The boathouse was an amazing location right in the water with a super homey feel. Hosts are great and so much to do at the place and around the area. Would highly recommend.

Lyse's property was very beautiful and so was the house. Very clean and everything we wish to have to make our stay most comfortable. Lyse was very friendly. We would highly recommend this place for a very good choice to rent.

Beautiful setting on the lake with a modern, updated home complete with so many thoughtful amenities and touches - would love to return!! Spectacular sunsets and a private dock, too - did some late summer fishing on the Kennebago and the Magalloway - spectacular!

My girlfriend and I loved our time at Andrew's cottage. The interior has coziness and charm, with taxidermy, one-of-a-kind woodsy furnishings, and old board games. The hot tub is easy to use and feels luxurious. The pond is glorious. Kayaking was a treat. The indoor fireplace switches on and off but is designed to look like a real wood burning stove. The outdoor fire pit provides the pleasure of burning actual wood, and it was easy to start with kindling provided. The only advisory I would give is that there is a spiral staircase down to the first floor if you're sleeping upstairs in the bed and need to use the bathroom during the night. This didn't bother either of us, but might not be a perfect fit for everyone. Thank you, Andrew, for sharing your serene spot.

We had the most amazing stay at this charming lakefront cottage in Vermont! From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by the peaceful setting, stunning lake views, and the cozy, well-appointed interior. The cottage was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated with rustic touches that made it feel both homey and special. We spent our days kayaking, fishing, and relaxing by the shore, and our evenings watching breathtaking sunsets and stargazing by the firepit. It truly felt like a little slice of heaven. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, offering great local tips and making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. This was one of the most peaceful and memorable trips we’ve had in a long time, and we’re already dreaming about coming back. Highly, highly recommend this special place to anyone looking to unwind and soak in the beauty of Vermont’s lakeside charm!

We came as a couple for a few days to rest. The space is a safe haven. It is very well equipped, the bedding is very comfortable. The accommodation is well thought out and communication with the hosts before and during made the stay all the more enjoyable. This is by far our best Airbnb experience. We'll be back with pleasure if we have a chance.

Small chalet by the water, very pleasant and comfortable. Small proximity to the neighborhood but it does not disturb our privacy. We enjoyed staying there, lots of things available, comfortable bed, kitchen, equipped bathroom and outside what to do a fire, kayak or paddle.. i recommend it. 😊

Loved our time here! It’s about a 40 minute drive from Portland and then 5-10 from Brunswick. The neighborhood is quiet and perfect, exactly what we needed to relax! We loved coming back from Portland and grabbing dinner and gelato in Brunswick, such a nice way to unwind from a long day. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again :)

This place is the perfect escape. Jenny stocked it up so you will never be bored. Every time I turned my head there was something exciting to see or do. It has everything you could possibly think of. Think you forgot something? Nope, Jenny's got you! The house decor was absolutely magnificent. And for those of you that are concerned, this place was CLEAN, spotless. I would and hope to book here again.

This was one of the highlights of our Nova Scotia trip. Peter and Hendrix were excellent hosts and the cottage was very thoughtfully set up with everything we could need for our stay. We really enjoyed Chef Hendrix's delicious breakfasts, kayaking around Molega lake and watching hummingbirds by the porch. This is also a great home base for visiting Kejimkujik, which is a short drive away.

This place was exactly what I wanted it to be. A great place for me and my family to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We would definitely recommend it!

Our 3rd stay on the property - first time in the A-frame. It was a wonderful 3 days! The cabin is cozy, comfortable, has everything you need and is right on the St Regis river. The whole property is beautiful and has lovely, walkable trails. Thank you Sandy for maintaining this very special place, providing the perfect cabin setting and sharing it with us. We will be back in 2026!

We had a lovely stay in the cabin and had the whole camp to ourselves. It was really easy for us to head out each day with our dog and enjoy the lake & woods. At night we grilled and enjoyed the wondering gas fire.

Does the cabin look perfect in the photo? It's better. Does the yard look like the perfect place to forget the rest of the world exists? It is. Are the White Mountains a place that make you feel like the psychological mountains in your life are just a little smaller? They are. We don't have enough good things to say about the Cabin or communicating with Cassouki. It's rare to step into a space that feels like it was designed with intention on every level - from the scents in the air to the textures of the cabin to the quiet confidence in every object's placement. The Conscious Cabin doesn't just reflect a designers eye, it reflects a storyteller's heart. I've stayed in more than a few retreats, but this is the first one that felt like it had something to say--and somehow said it quietly enough to let us hear ourselves again. Stay here.

we were looking for a peaceful, well equipped cabin, and were completely happy with this clean, comfortable cabin. We stayed 10 nights and drove to the coast several times, but were also happy to stay in, with a good book and an up close view of the river. Theresa was very friendly and responded quickly to questions. I recommend staying here to anyone looking for a peaceful and very relaxing getaway.
