Holiday rentals with breakfast in Saint Leonards

Snaffles was a great little find. A cute place on a stud farm, the kitchen was spacious and the garden was beautiful. The flowers were all in bloom and we had a wonderful view of the horses in the field. The beds were comfy, and we were greeted with extras like milk and cookies. We even saw deer! Would recommend.

My boyfriend and I stayed for a summer weekend night and enjoyed the location (minutes from lots of fun pubs with live music and the seaside eateries), the room (bigger than I expected), the bathroom (in our exclusive use, a great shower), and the breakfast chat with Peter. We got lots of local recommendations. Peter and Jo were lovely hosts and we'd happily stay again when in Hastings.

The top floor bedroom in this property is just the most wonderful space it has ever been my pleasure to wake up in!! The house is so light and sunny with a glorious view of all the greeenery that is the beginning of the dunes. The property was very well equipped and the beds and bedding were so comfy, so much so that the friend I went with has ordered one of the beds as she said she hadn’t slept so well in years! Camber Sands and the dunes are absolutely stunning, such an amazing facility right on the doorstep. All in all, a really great stay and I will definitely be back - thanks Fran .

Our stay at Anna's property was great. A lovely house, providing everything you could need and more. The weather wasn't always kind to us, but we managed several walks to the nature reserve and beach. A good pub a few minutes walk away with a nice menu. A walkable distance into Rye itself - though we did get the bus back! We did however bequeath the master bedroom to our our slightly younger guests as the height of the bed was a bit risky for 70yr olds with bad knees! We made use of the bbq provided and garden furniture - an added bonus! All in all a most enjoyable experience. Many thanks Anna.

A fab little place to stay. Linda is a great host and super friendly…and you’ll get checked out by her lovely cat coco. The room is spotless and well equipped. A silent ceiling fan was a god send as it was a hot night and could leave it on all night and stay cool. The shower room is amazing… and don’t worry if you’ve forgotten anything… Linda has it there… even slippers and dressing gown. A parking space outside is yours and a lovely peaceful area. Would def recommend and go back. Thank you Linda. X

This is a very nice cute old cottage. If you expect that, and not Four Seasons - you'll love it. It's very livable and enjoyable. The fireplace that Sara prepared for us was such a nice touch. Sara's communication has been superb - I'm sure we'll come back to her place!

The Old Workshop Cottage is set in a beautifully peaceful location. Tessa is a truly wonderful host, attentive and caring and nothing was too much trouble for her. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay. We loved our time here, there is so much to explore in the area. We would highly recommend this cottage. Our daughter loved relaxing in the hammock!

I am writing this review on behalf of my aunt and uncle who stayed in Alex's bnb when I was getting married last weekend. They were delighted with the accommodation, it was lovely clean and cozy and filled with treats! Alex herself was so friendly and helpful and really went above and beyond for them during their stay. They wanted me to send their big thanks for making this exciting weekend extra special! I also wanted to say that Alex was really great with communication and directions provided perfect details of where to go and always made herself available. A lovely, peaceful and relaxing stay at Paula and Simons. The accomadation was the perfect retreat for us while we explored the area.

We had a lovely stay at Gemma's place. We wanted somewhere where we could relax and feel comfortable and this was perfect. The view from the balcony (when it wasn't raining) was beautiful and we can imagine on warm summery evenings it would be great. There was plenty of parking on the road (using the Ringo app), shops nearby and it was a peaceful area. We would stay here again.

We had a great stay in St Leonard’s at the design house! Great location for exploring the area, and a unique place to stay with great art everywhere you turn! Thanks Marsha for sharing your amazing home!

We loved staying at Tamsin's place in Battle. Very friendly hosts! Very close (a short walk) to Battle Abbey and the high street. Would definitely recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat if we're in the area!

Enid is absolutely lovely, she went out of her way to make sure we had a brilliant stay. Her place was very clean and well equipped. It is a little out of the way but was easy to get taxis and only 8/9 to get to Hastings old town. I would highly recommend.

Had a perfect stay at Kate’s place. The best bed ever! Lovely little touches - really appreciated the fruit for breakfast. Kate made us feel most welcome.

I would say this is one of my favorite places in the UK, truly a hidden gem!! No one would ever regret coming here. Carol and Clive are very helpful and caring. They have a fantastic home in a lovely neighborhood with a huge, beautiful garden. You can spot sheep every day, and they take good care of every plant and even prepare food for the birds. They also leave a bowl of water outside for passing dogs, so sweet! The bed was super comfortable, I slept like a baby every night. The whole village of Lamberhurst is filled with birdsong, and every corner is peaceful and charming. I loved all the restaurants I visited, and everyone I met was genuinely friendly. I’ll definitely come back and stay longer next time. Thanks a mill for everything :)

Caroline hat uns herzlich empfangen. In ihrem hübschen Haus haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und gut geschlafen. Alles ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und besonders sauber. Das Frühstück mit ihrem selbst gebackenen Brot war sehr lecker. Wir haben von ihr auch gute Tipps für die Gegend erhalten. Caroline liegt das Wohl ihrer Gäste sehr am Herzen. Wie sind nur eine Nacht geblieben auf dem Weg nach Cornwall aber haben es sehr genossen. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft gerne weiter.

Sally was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. The place is in such a lovely setting along with the space being cosy and inviting! We hope to return again to explore the beautiful area further!

Sarah greeted us and gave us the warmest welcome, this was an absolutely perfect countryside escape! We had the most wonderful stay in this beautifully converted stable, tucked away in the stunning Kent countryside. The setting is peaceful and picturesque – a true retreat from the hustle and bustle. The space itself was spotlessly clean and styled to perfection, with a lovely blend of charm and comfort. The bed linens were luxurious and incredibly comfortable, and there were so many thoughtful touches throughout that made the stay feel extra special. Every detail had clearly been considered with care. We wouldn’t hesitate to return – a real hidden gem!

Mary’s communicate was great, responsive and helpful. Great location for me from Newhaven port and to the different locations I was travelling to around Hailsham. Lovely home from home, clean, welcoming with safe parking for my car. Fabulous couple, one to keep for when I’m travelling via DFDS, Newhaven. Look forward to my next trip.

Excellent value for money! in a quiet cul de sac street away from traffic. We slept very well, lovely cosy bed. Be aware that the entrance is not facing the street but on the side of the house, by the parking spaces. We arrived in the evening and it took us some time to find it. Jeanette is a kind and welcoming host who is there for you and she sets a lovely breakfast!! Her house is a "home sweet home" with all the conforts and we enjoyed this very much.
