The barn was beautifully decorated. Clean and very homely. It had plenty of room and was amazing ,with everything we needed for our stay .The outdoor space was perfect again we had good seating,a bbq ,a fire pit and a wood burning hot tub which was perfect and was ready to use when we arrived .We were surrounded by nature it was stunning. Lisa was amazing , she knew exactly what we needed. Her responses were quick and helpful a perfect host and very kind .Lisa was on hand if you needed her but we had perfect privacy . Nothing was too much trouble .I would highly recommend this Airbnb. Location wise was really good ,not far from Sandwich,Ash and the east coast is a short drive away . Beautiful walks , woodland and totally safe for our little dog . I only wish we could have stayed longer , it was the perfect place for peace and tranquility. Thank you Lisa

Just experienced the most perfect 3 day stay, in an absolutely ideal location in Rye. A spotlessly clean, stunning character filled property with low beams, wonky walls and sloping floors, which all add to it's wonderful charm. A very responsive, helpful and kind host, who really wants you to enjoy your time there. No questions too hard and always a very warm prompt response from Becky. I have been using Airbnb for over 12 years and Wendee is one of the nicest hosts I have had. So kind, communicative and responsive. The house is in a lovely part of the Kent coast that we love, with easy access for cliffs coastal walks and the wonderful Zetland Arms. My husband and I both came down with colds and Wendee was so kind with allowing late check in and late check out, and always responded promptly. The house is beautiful, well-equipped and the living room smells amazing!

Absolutely love staying here as always very nice area to stay in very quiet very near everything and such a lovely host Very friendly Who was there to help if you need it can I wait to come and stay again as we love it and dog friendly too, which is good

The view and access to the beach was lovely.

Nice and relaxing place. Very well equipped especially the kitchen area. Welcoming big basket, even milk and butter in the fridge and ice cream. A little bit more cleaning needed and carpets especially. But a great ans beautiful place to stay, very friendly and communicative hosts.

Julie is an ideal host, very friendly and responsive. The static caravan is very well equipped with a kitchen, 2 toilets, one with shower, and a sizeable lounge /dining area. Would book again. David Maxwell

We had a lovely week in Plantagenet and really cannot recommend it enough; the cottage really exceeded our expectations. The garden is phenomenal. It was a private and tranquil escape and our collie thoroughly enjoyed doing laps of the large garden despite the rainy weather. We loved it from the moment we arrived and didn't want to leave. The cottage is well equipped, has a great cosy ambiance with lots of indoor and outdoor game options no matter what the weather. The communication with Tim&Maite was friendly and responsive, we particularly appreciated the slightly late check out. We are hoping to book again soon with more of our family joining us.

What can I say. Other than simply perfect. Natalie and Peter went truly above and beyond. The place was decorated so nicely for my 30th birthday. Everywhere was clean, and simply breath taking. Nothing was too much, I even had a blister and Natalie went and got me some plasters. The yurt is stunning, the little Annex you get with it was so lovely just to chill and watch tv in. The outdoor bath was perfect to sit and chill and look up at the stars. I’ve never experienced an air BnB like I did this weekend, it was one of a kind. I definitely will be going back! X

This was our second visit to the Lighthouse and it still is an amazing place, from the panoramic sea views to a lovely warm inviting home. A dip in the pool before breakfast, sitting with a coffee watching the seascape, as far as Essex and beyond, sunsets and so much more. I will make the same comment as I did last, this goes for the whole of our party across 3 generations and the dogs, the only bad thing about the Lighthouse is having to leave. Hopefully this will not be our last visit.

Angela’s van was the perfect getaway for us and our two young children - everything was exactly as described and the van was well equipped with everything you could possibly need! The site the van is on is clean, tidy and has great amenities for families. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful peaceful stay and friendly host. Comfortable cottage with nice enclosed garden and meadow for the dog. Lovely welcome hamper. Beautiful location with lots of lovely pubs and walks near by. You won’t be disappointed!

Aidan & Wendy were perfect hosts. We had an amazing relaxing time despite walking 18.2k along the stunning coastline! The barn was the perfect place to retreat to. Aidan was super helpful and welcoming when we arrived and it was a pleasure to stay with them. I have already recommended them to a friend 🙌🏻

Really accessible, quiet place with a car park just around the corner. The car park itself is right next to a peaceful woodland which makes for a scenic, relaxing walk. The property was easy to get in to and upon arrival I was impressed with the resources- kettle, microwave, mini hob, toaster, coffee machine, mini fridge, plates, cutlery etc. Everything was really clean, bright, airy and didn’t feel cramped. The bed and pillows were comfortable and there was a clothing rail to hang up clothes as well as shelves to unpack and feel at home. Toilet/shower was super clean. It felt lovely to wake up to the sound of birds singing too. Sandwich was beautiful and feels worlds away from the city. All in all perfect hosts and perfect stay!

We had a great stay at Ian’s place. We were visiting for a family event in Deal. We know the town very well but it was fun to stay in a different place. The house is very easy to stay with a group of adults, teenagers and a dog. We all had enough space to be together and also have our time. We loved the bright bedrooms. The beds were extremely comfy with lovely bed linen. We really appreciated the welcome basket with Kent treats and the coffee and tea! Thanks The house is in an excellent location. Literally a 2 min walk for a morning dip and super close to the centre and great pubs in Deal. Totally recommend the place. We would live to stay next time we are visiting family again.

The perfect location, walkable to town and to Dover Castle. Most places were closed due to Easter and the following day which was also a holiday so that was challenging. There were 6 of us staying, more ideal for 4 people. The noise from the road below didn’t bother us at all. I would recommend using a “noise machine” if staying in the primary bedroom, but the bed was really comfortable and we got great sleep. Ideal place to walk to all the restaurants once they did open. Rain was very accommodating and responded very quickly to any questions I had.

The House was perfect for a relaxing weekend of family time. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with all the equipment we needed for a large family that enjoys cooking, eating, and drinking well. We felt right at home and had a very special, relaxing and fun few days.

I stayed for my 30th birthday celebrations and had the best time ever. This place was perfect! the decor, the location, the surroundings and most importantly Karen and her husband was so friendly and lovely and ensured I had a special birthday. I’ve stayed at Airbnb’s before and I’ve never had a host as lovely as Karen was, the perfect host we could have wish for. The swimming pool was amazing and me and my family had a wonderful time enjoying it in the sun with a BBQ. The cottage was spotless and a welcome hamper was provided and every little detail was perfect. The garden area was beautiful through out the day and so peaceful and relaxing. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough, it was truly perfect and I will definitely be staying again and recommending to everyone I know! Thank you again for making it such a special birthday x

I wish I could have stayed so much longer. I love Jill and James' place. Perfectly furnished and equipped. I did so much i.e. walked along the coast from Kingsdown to Walmer and Deal and today walked to St Margaret's Cliffe. That is only with 2 nights. Very peaceful. James and Jill are so accommodating and very friendly, always ready to help or recommend what to do and which way to go. I hope I can return and stay longer.
