Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

At Véro’s – “Le Juvaquatre” Gîte

Come and discover this beautiful farm from 1740, renovated only by David and Véro in 2017 (photo of renovation on USB stick visible on large screen TV). To visit the hilltop villages: La Garde Adhémar, Clansayes, Saint Restitut, as well as the markets of Nyons, Vaison la Romaine, less than an hour away the Gorges de l'Ardèche, the Pont du Gard, the crocodile greenhouse, the gorges of Toulourenc, the castles of Grignan, Suze la Rousse, Mont Ventoux (visible from the terrace). The owner lives next door.

Nearby outdoor activities: hiking, horseback riding, canoeing, swimming in the river. 35 minutes from Pont du Gard, 30 minutes from Uzès, 1 hour from Nîmes. Come and visit the Gorges de l'Ardèche and Vallon Pont d'Arc, the Aven d'Orgnac, the Roque sur Cèze or the Concluses de Lussan... or stroll by the pool...

Central Townhouse with Secret Courtyard and Pool

Our home, features an original fireplace, flagstone floors, and local furnishings. Enjoy the courtyard garden and pool (a quiet relaxing space, our neighbours appreciate their tranquility too). The neighbourhood is quiet but attractions like the Pont d'Avignon, restaurants, and bars are all less than 10 minutes on foot. A parking space is within a 3-minute walk. You will not use the car in town but is will be great to explore Provence by day and return to your tranquil haven each evening.

L'Oasis

The Oasis, a rare place for nature lovers in the middle of a 1-hectare olive grove between Uzès and the village of Collias. In this small architect's house in Vers stone with its private terrace, totally autonomous, solar electricity and drilling, you will find calm and tranquility. In the morning the peacocks will come to greet you and wish you a beautiful day. The Gardon and Alzon next door for swimming and a swimming pool shared with us, will refresh you on summer days

Our concept for your vacation: do what you want, no constraints, no cleaning, no sheets to bring, no towels either, we take care of everything! The goal is for you to take your vacation at your own pace, active or relaxed

In Drôme Provençale, next to Grignan, between vineyards and lavender, our cottage is the only one on the property. It is located upstairs, for four adults, adjoining the owners' farmhouse. 48 m2 living room, with fully equipped open kitchen, relaxation area with 127 cm TV, air conditioning. 35 m2 master suite with walk-in shower, double sinks, separate toilet, air conditioning. 30 m2 mezzanine. Both beds are 160 X 200. Private terrace with Weber barbecue.

New cottage located in the Cèze Valley. Independent entrance to facilitate arrival, parking space. Living room with kitchen area equipped with dishwasher, dining area and living room with TV, Wi-Fi access. 2 bedrooms, one with bunk bed and the other with 140 double bed. Bathroom, toilet, equipped with a washing machine. Terrace with plancha, garden, bowling green and shared pool. No pets allowed. Towels, kitchen towels and bed linens are provided

La Maison Passiflore (6/7 people, heated pool)

Welcome to La Roque sur Cèze! We fell in love with this small hilltop village, ranked among the most beautiful in France. The stone houses, the gardens and hanging terraces, the sun and the southern atmosphere, the calm, the proximity of the Sautadet waterfalls are among the main assets of La Roque. Ideal base for many walks and excursions (typical villages, Uzès, Avignon, Pont du Gard, Nîmes...). Restaurants in the village, shops 5 km away.
