The chalet is inside a green oasis of meadow, pasture and vegetable gardens, surrounded by a dense forest of centuries-old pine trees. Ideal for those seeking tranquility, contact with themselves and nature. The view of the 4,000 Swiss mountains is breathtaking! During the winter season, in case of snowfall, you will need to park about 500 meters from the chalet, we will gladly help you with your luggage!

Hiking, cycling, skiing, climbing,... Children also enjoy hiking next to the 'Suonen' [historic irrigation channels], playing on the Hannigalp or climbing in the Robis playground. You don't even need the car here. But there are also great excursions: Zermatt, Saas-fee, the longest suspension bridge, Sion, Leukerbad... even Italy is not far away.

In winter, we recommend arriving only by 4WD car due to snow!! 20 min WALK from St Niklaus station (up & downhill - way direction see in our profile!) NO TAXI OR BUS FROM THE TRAIN STATION!! Whether as a couple for romantic hours, as a small family or as a group of friends; our apartment, on the village square of Eischoll offers a lot: It is centrally located with Volg next door, hiking trails, bike trails and ski slopes around the corner and pure tranquility in a minimalist ambience (+ small spa bath with bathtub and walk-in shower).

Zum Alten Schulhaus: Cozy apartment on the upper floor with great views and lots of sun in the traditional Valais with everything needed for a holiday in the Alps. We often use the apartment for our family vacation, so it is well maintained and furnished. In just 30 minutes by train in Zermatt, in 45 minutes in Visp and 1 hour in Brig. Parking is available right in front of the house, Wi-Fi is available. The price already includes the visitor's tax.
