We stayed here after reading reviews about bugs and crabs and it being dirty. honestly was a little worried. We got there and realized it was because this is an open air home for the living spaces. We kept all food closed and away. The birds will just fly in and out and steal bread and fruit so I wouldn't leave the doors open if you are not paying attention. Ok now to the house, nothing short of amazing. The views and hearing the waves at all times was great. We traveled with a toddler and she slept with no issues. There are multiple refrigerators so groceries shopping and storing food was no issue. The location was quite and surrounded by very nice properties and people. There are a few walking distance places to eat and such, but if heading into Oistins its easier to drive. We will definitely be looking to book again in the future.

Lex’s place had it all. There is a beautiful beach right outside the back door, it’s walkable to a grocery store, several cafes and bars and the Friday fish fry. We also could grab busses right outside the house to get to Bridgetown for more beaches and restaurants. Walking around felt safe (well lit) but of course be aware of your surroundings and the cars wiz by so be aware of where the sidewalks are. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. We loved how there were lots of towels and pillows! The only thing to prepare for is that the second bedroom gets traffic noise so maybe bring earplugs if you’re sleeping in that room.

This is such an awesome location! It literally overlooks the "Soup Bowl" and that is why we wanted to go to this area. Known as one of the most sought after surf spots in the world. We fell asleep to the sound of the waves crashing and breeze flowing through the house. There are a mix of restaurants and cafes dispersed throughout the town so you can stay and explore. Bathsheba grew on us more and more with each and every day and we will absolutely be back to visit when the stars align again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Paolo was extremely helpful and friendly with great recommendations. The house is on a cute gated street across the street from a great surfing spot. Walking distance to Miami Beach which is a pleasant beach with a ton of shade trees. Oistins local fishing village is close enough to walk. For more lively area a quick jaunt to Rockley beach by car. For us a quiet walk to the surf and beach was ideal. Paolo must be one of the friendliest hosts we’ve had! The house was spacious and serene. Kitchen had all the necessary items. Can’t wait to return!

Natalia's home was perfect for our trip to Barbados. We came with the intention to explore the island and her home was spot on. Pros: - Communication with Natalia and her local team (Stacey and Natasha) was excellent throughout - home was clean upon arrival - Bedrooms: all beds were comfortable, individual split unit AC in each room, plenty of closet space in each. Master has an ensuite - Private plunge pool and the outdoor space was wonderful - private parking for 2 cars Cons: - some kitchen items showed signs of wear/usage This home is great for travelers looking to be away from hotel/resort crowds who want to get out and do their own thing. It is a 15-20min drive from the airport, 8min drive from Oistins, 3min drive from Freights Bay (surfing), 5 min drive from Silver Sands Beach (kite & wind surfing), 5min drive from Miami Beach (relax & swim), 15min drive from the Gap. You will receive a list of local restaurants, sights and activities upon check-in which is helpful.

We had a lovely week at Lorraine's place. We really liked the neighbourhood. Dover beach is a short walk away. We also got the bus to Miami beach which isn't far. You don't need a car unless you want to explore the island. We hired a car for two days so we could visit other places. Otherwise we stayed local. The restaurant recommendations were helpful and we had a lovely meal at the Italian place Lorraine suggested. It's easy to walk to St. Lawrence Gap where there are lots of bars and restaurants. We all loved the pool which is a good size and the kids loved the daily visits from the monkeys. The bungalow is spacious and has everything you need. Would highly recommend.

Ken’s place met our expectations, - every room was perfectly laid out with all necessities required for convenience and comfort, We were relaxed and did not lack in any way for household utilities/utensils to improve our vacation. Thank you Ken for your hospitality.

I didn't want to leave :'( . Anna's home is beautiful, clean and comfortable. We had no issues and the home was fully equipped with everything we may have needed. It's close enough to take a morning stroll to the beautiful Miami beach and also a short drive away from the vibesy Oistins Fish Market. Definitely coming again. Thank you Anna for making our first travel experience so awesome.

Paradise Point is truly a hidden gem! This Airbnb was perfect for our trip—initially, we booked it for the private pool and separate bunkbed area for our child, but it ended up exceeding our expectations in every way. From the spacious loungers by the pool and stunning rooftop deck to the fully equipped kitchen, thoughtful welcome snacks, and breathtaking views—everything was spot-on. The location is ideal for exploring the south of Barbados, with easy access to Oistins, St. Lawrence Gap, and several beautiful beaches just a short walk or drive away. The host was also incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I highly recommend Paradise Point to anyone looking for a local, relaxed experience in the heart of Barbados’ south coast. We’ll definitely be back!

We had an absolutely amazing stay in April 2025! This place is truly a gem, featuring a beautiful pool and a private, cozy jetty beach. You can lay down on your bed and watch and smell the ocean through the floor-to-ceiling open (if you wish) window. It had everything we could possibly need — we didn’t have to ask for anything extra. One standout detail (especially for travelers who love to stay organized): there was plenty of storage space for clothes and an enormous number of hangers — truly a dream for any woman on vacation! The location is also unbeatable — right in the heart of the island, surrounded by great bars and restaurants. You don’t need to drive anywhere (but if yiu do they have free parking spot, bus and taxis just next to the place); you can just walk and enjoy everything the area has to offer. The host was incredibly responsive, helpful, and made us feel so welcome. Honestly, it’s hard to believe a place like this exists! We are so grateful for this experience!

We (Gf and I), had a blast in BGI and staying at Anique’s crib felt like home. Clutter free, clean bathroom with towels, bath gel and shampoo. Living room was squeaky clean with decent furniture and large TV, except no AC in the living room but the large ceiling fan did the magic. The rooms were very clean and tons of extra bedding sheets and towels in the closet. We will return to Anique’s crib because it hidden in a beauty spot of BGI and very very safe with restaurant/super market and urgent care clinic literally 3 mins walk.

We loved our stay at this grand old home. It’s a vintage beach property with more space than our group of 8 needed. Along with the amenities listed, there is also 2 outdoor showers and changing rooms and a bathroom. We opened all of the downstairs windows and doors and had a wonderful breeze that kept the house comfortable. We felt very safe at the property and enjoyed walking to nearby restaurants and bars. We had a few issues but Melissa resolved them quickly. The home is not updated but we loved the vintage charm more than a modern property.

Quiet, beautiful spot on the south end of the island. Great, private view of the beach and mangroves from sprawling gardens. Occasional monkey visitors. Practical kitchen with needed equipment. Good ac in bedrooms. Giant sliding door for the main room. Strong WiFi in office and most of house and immediate deck (occasionally unstable but think that’s island issue). 15 min to grocery store. Most higher end restaurants and resort beaches on northwest coast 30 min+. Short walk down to beach - rough not swimmable but beautiful. Host was the most helpful we’ve ever had with Airbnb. Helped with all kinds of activity / reservations (for a nominal fee).

We had a fantastic stay Ann’s place just a short bus ride to Oistins property had everything we needed lovely out side patio with table chairs sun beds and pool i think it’s in need of some TLC would definitely stay here again

If you are looking for a place to stay that is close to the airport, 15 minutes from the beaches and near amenities, look no further! This is the place for you. A spacious 3 bed 2 Bath home that provides comfort, security and privacy. We enjoyed our time at this location. Our host was very responsive and check-in was easy!!

Our stay at Dora’s Cottage was absolutely delightful — peaceful, comfortable, and filled with the warm charm of Barbados. The cottage is nestled in a quiet, safe neighborhood, making it the perfect retreat to relax and recharge, while still being conveniently close to beaches, shops, and restaurants. The space was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully prepared with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to soft linens. We especially enjoyed the outdoor area — ideal for morning coffee and unwinding after a day of exploring the island. We really enjoyed our family stay at Robert's place. The home was comfortable and had what we needed and the amenities were as described. The children loved the garden with all the fruit trees and open space. We could easily wash and hang our clothes under the extended roof so we had no laundry to do when returning home! We had a hired car but it would have been easy to walk to the local supermarket and other shops/restaurants at six roads. The neighbourhood was safe and friendly, our children made some new friends in the nearby park. The solar powered house was also great and environmentally friendly. Robert was extremely responsive and proactive in helping us with check in, late check out, local recommendations and any issues we had. When the freezer was not freezing as it should, he organised for a brand new fridge freezer to be delivered the very next day! Overall, we had a really fantastic time for an excellent price for 3 weeks. We will definitely be booking again!

One of the best stays I’ve ever had. This treehouse felt like a modern treehouse tucked into nature. Open, airy, and deeply peaceful. Every detail was so intentional, creating a space that invites you to slow down, breathe deeper, and truly escape. At the same time, it felt like a home away from home. Cozy, refreshing, and unforgettable. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Delroy and his family are very welcoming, helpful & easy-going. Definitely would stay again!

Jana is a lovely host, always keen to share information about the island, places to visit and what to do. The house is as described by pictures, really nice pool with both indoor and outdoor shower, plenty of space inside and clean rooms. Overall, very good value. The place is close to beaches like Bottom Bay but it's a 25 minutes drive from more touristy places on the south/west coasts, so having a car is recommended.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful property! The seclusion was exactly what we were looking for, offering a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The place was perfect—cozy, well-equipped, and surrounded by nature. Ruth and Chris were amazing hosts, making sure we had everything we needed and ensuring our stay was comfortable. My daughter & I greatly enjoyed our stay at Peter’s airbnd. We loved the flowers, monkeys, and the peaceful atmosphere. Peter is a wonderful host. He had a driver pick us up from the airport. We gave him a grocery list and he bought our initial items which made it much easier for us (of course we reimbursed him). Then he made our first dinner for us and answered all our questions. We loved the movie nights- we watched movies sitting in an old pickup with movie projected on wall. He even made us popcorn. The best part was the pool onsite available for the other guests in the compound.
