Monthly Rentals in Salinas del Carmen

Hubby & I just spent under 3 weeks here. Loved every minute. Weather was very mixed so the wonderful private sunbathing patio saved the day. Yolanda is a very warm, welcoming, host who takes great pride in her place, providing welcome items like milk, beer, sangria, toilet rolls, detergent, cleaning products, & many other household items. There were other grocery items in the cupboards too!! These all save the guests some unnecessary expense. We’ve stayed in other places where the hosts failed miserably in this regard!! Everything was spotless. Beach towels in beach bags…lovely touch…and loads of towels & bed linen. It’s on the flight path…from 7.30am til about 11pm…but you expect that in Caleta de Fuste…really wasn’t an issue!! Everything within 10 or 15 minutes walk. Photos really dont do this place justice. Bed’s amazingly comfy, lovely bed linen, and plenty warm blankets for the cooler nights. Very happy to recommend Yolanda’s place and will definitely return!!

I contacted Stefano the same day I had to check in due to a bad experience in another accommodation. It was amazing how he facilitated everything and let us check in the next hour after making the reservation. We are super grateful because thanks to him and his attention our holidays were not ruined. He was always attentive, writing to us, and the accommodation is just like the photos and above all it was impeccable. We can only thank him for saving us from our holidays being spoiled by another accommodation that did not meet the conditions.

When we arrived, he let us in before the scheduled time, since our plane arrived early. The house was quite clean and in good condition and is quite nice. We really liked the stay. Giorgio was kind and even helped us when we left the speaker in the pool and he managed to get it back, which we thought was a very nice touch. It's next to the airport, and in the middle of the island, so it's a good location if you're going to explore the whole island. As points to improve, I would recommend the owner to leave some kind of shower soap. If you are going to be there for a few days, you end up buying a large bottle that you end up wasting. We also didn't have any oil, so we had to buy a bottle, which we left there anyway. On the other hand, the pool has a departure time and if you go over the time, the door automatically closes and you cannot enter... but you cannot EXIT either. We were locked in and had to jump the fence. The community should improve that.
