Jan’s has a beautiful home in an amazing estate filled with loads of things to do. Jan was very helpful and generous.

Douglas our host is fabulous, always a message away alongside Thulani our caretaker who lives on site while maintaining privacy for us guests. The facilities are more than perfect for us three adults and we slept like babies. Book the house and you will be blown away. Thank you for having us, we will come back again.

We arrived around 5pm and found the key in the lockbox. Sandy was very responsive to our needs. There was a problem with one of the air conditioners and she sent a technician out to remedy the problem. The solar panels, inverter and battery were a real bonus as there were a couple of unexpected power outages and we were not affected by them. The house is spacious with beautiful sea views from most of the bedrooms and living areas. It is well decorated and makes for good and comfortable living with more than enough kitchen utensils to cater for our full house of eight people and three dogs. Sipho worked during the week keeping the garden and pool area clean, including cleaning the braai. We used him inside a couple of times to clean at an additional cost paid directly to him. He even washed our cars without being asked to do so. When the deck overlooking the ocean became a bit windy, we used the well protected pool and covered braai area. The pool table and dart board added to the fun

Melissa was the BEST. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had! The place is absolutely beautiful and truly became the highlight of our vacation. The check-in process was smooth. Home is lovely and beautiful. The estate has many pools and restaurants and lots of areas for children to play and swim. Grant was a great host and would highly recommend Grant and this property! We can’t wait to come again .

What a clean and comfortable stay I had in this very special Cottage! It was immaculate, and was equipped with everything I would need for a comfortable stay. The decor was charming, and the ambiance…so very ‘good for the soul’. Marné was a perfect host with a real gift of conveying info in a timely, clear, and creative way. It's a wonderful place! The apartment is very spacious, bigger than it looked in the photos. Everything is very clean and brand new. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay. The territory is close and you feel safe in the apartment. The beach is very close, literally 5 minutes on foot. But the veranda won our hearts, the whole family spent most of our time there playing games and talking! The ocean view is mesmerizing. Many thanks to the hosts! Candice was in touch all the time, helped with all the questions very quickly. Special thanks for the opportunity for flexible check-in and check-out! The position could not have been more perfect. Right in the middle of Salt Rock and a two step walk the garden gate onto the beach. It was heaven going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean on our doorstep. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone.

Small but comfy. Perfect for a small family. It was a bit tight for 4 single adults but for one night it was fine. Would recommend for anyone looking for a short stay in town.

We had an incredible stay at Ocean Dune in Umhlanga. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a thoughtful snack pack, which was such a nice touch after a long trip. The apartment was spotless, beautifully kept, and very well equipped. The highlight was definitely the view – right next to the ocean with a constant fresh breeze, it created the perfect relaxing atmosphere. Waking up to the sound and sight of the waves was pure bliss. The space was modern, super neat, and felt like a true getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, comfort, and a touch of luxury in Umhlanga!

The place met our expectations as according to the images. The apartment is cosy and prestine with stunning beach views. The bathroom could do with towel hangers. Self check-in process was seamless and certainly will visit again in the summer:-)

We had an amazing stay at this gem on the Dolphin Coast! The apartment is beautiful and perfectly located—just steps from the beach and tidal pool. The sea views are breathtaking, and we loved spending time on the verandah overlooking Chakas Rock. It’s ideal for a couple or small family, with everything you need for a relaxing, self-catering holiday. The complex is safe and quiet, with restaurants just around the corner. Highly recommended for a coastal getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our visit, which made the experience smooth and stress-free. The apartment was spotless and very well maintained — we really appreciated the attention to cleanliness. The estate itself is peaceful and serene, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. We would definitely recommend this place to others and hope to return ourselves in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay! The place is very nice, looks exactly like the pictures, and had all the amenities we needed. Olivia is a great host. When we arrived, getting inside was easy. My cell number had been registered at the gate, so to enter, we simply called the gate number from the registered phone, and the gate opened automatically — a new and interesting experience! Once inside, we used the remote and keys from the key box, and from then on, we used them to open and close the gate as needed. The private access to the beach was also a wonderful bonus and made our stay even more special.

Sheena was a great host. I’ve been to a few air BnB but never received such service. Sheena provided us with not just an accommodation but peace of mind too. We really enjoyed our stay and we will surely recommend the place and should we come back to Durban we booking the place again.

I had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment while in KZN for the Comrades Marathon. The space was immaculate, stylish, and had everything I could possibly need. What truly made this experience stand out was Janine, the host. From the moment I booked, her communication was exceptional—warm, funny, and refreshingly down-to-earth. She checked in every day with genuine care and good humour, making sure I had everything I needed and even sharing great local tips. Her friendly, light-hearted personality made me feel so welcome — it was like connecting with an old friend! The apartment itself had so many thoughtful touches: a well-stocked kitchen with a variety of spices, cooking oil, plenty of washing liquid, and all those little extras that are so often overlooked. I didn’t have to worry about a thing—it truly felt like a home away from home. I will absolutely be staying here again!
