The apartment is huge and in a great central location. We walked everywhere. It's surrounded by fab bars and restaurants. The view from the small balconies is beautiful and we loved seeing the sea through the sitting room windows when we came in the front door. As someone else mentioned, there has obviously been a water leak at some point which could do with sorting and a couple of other areas could do with some tlc. Overall, we loved the apartment and would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location right on the beach. There are many beautiful places just around the corner that include good restaurants and markets but you need a car to get there. We loved staying here and I must say that Rosemarie is the best host ever. You have all you need there and if not, Rosemarie can provide for you. Thank you for everything. You are surely on our list if we are coming back to Sicily.

We really enjoyed the time. The apartment is as described and the highlight is this large roof terrace with fantastic views. But otherwise everything is very lovingly and comfortably furnished and everything we needed was there. In Noto, there are many great places to eat and shop. We didn't find Lido die Noto itself so appealing, but that didn't bother us with everything else that is offered.

My wife and I traveled to Ortigia with our daughter for her 25th birthday. This home checked all the boxes when we booked it. Location on the water, nice modern home, walking distance to everything we wanted to see. But, when we got there, it was so much more amazing than we could have imagined. The home is beautiful - on the water with a stunning rooftop deck and amazing sunsets. Its situated right in the heart of Ortigia next to Fountain Arethusa. Walk out the front door onto the cobble streets to restaurants, coffee bars, shops. Turn right and walk a few minutes to Castello Maniace. Turn left and walk a few minutes to the Piazza Duomo. Yolande was an amazing host. Communication was great. Answered all my questions and helped find us a driver for the week which turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Our driver, Beppe, was born in Ortigia and taught us more about Sicily during our car rides than any guide we could have round. Grazie Yolande!

Thank you so much for such a warm and welcoming stay! From the moment we arrived, Guiseppe made us feel completely at home - meeting us in person and even helping with parking on a busy road was so kind and above and beyond. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches, from the treats left for us to the fresh fruit, it was a real taste of Sicilian hospitality! Guiseppe was always available and made everything feel easy and relaxed. The terrace was absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset, and the peaceful surroundings made it a perfect place to unwind. We also loved how close it was to the centre of Noto, just a short walk to great restaurants and the charming old town. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would wholeheartedly recommend staying here to anyone.

The pictures don’t describe the beauty of this place. It is a step back in time that you can’t get from most other places. If you want serenity and peace surrounded by natural beauty mixed with history, this is where you must stay. We did have the heater go out on us but this was not Francesco’s fault as the heater was brand new and he was quick to make sure we had alternative heat. It is very easy to get to any of the main cities from this place. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you for being a wonderful host Francesco!

We loved it here! The apartment looks even better than in the pictures. It’s super clean. The whole building has been renovated and it has a modern vibe overall. Pamela was super friendly and helped us with some indications regarding parking and also restaurant recommendations. We definitely recommend this stay!

The place is very clean and perfect for us. It is close to at least two very great restaurants that we walked to. It was quiet and loved the balcony.

Rossella is a very friendly, straightforward and flexible host. We felt very comfortable in their place. The apartment is small but offers everything needed for two people. The sloping roof gives the apartment a great charm. Breathtaking and super beautiful is the large, sunny terrace. The sea, despite the second row of streets, is almost within easy reach due to the height of the terrace (3rd floor). Within walking distance are shopping as well as the beautiful village center of Marina di Ragusa with many restaurants, bars and gelaterias. The apartment on the third floor is only accessible by stairs (the last one a little narrow and steep). You should be good on foot - then that's fine. We felt right at home, got great tips for restaurants and excursions and enjoyed the peace and the wonderful sea in front of the door. We recovered very well without getting bored, you can relax very well here, Robin was an attentive and relaxed host, thank you for everything and greetings to the dogs, we will definitely come back.

It is a villa that rent one floor and let the other for a business school. The pool is also open to other house, so privacy is not total. However we spend amazing days there and the house and the pool is so clean, with high quality stuff and decoration and very confortable rooms, the views are awesone and it is so quiet, we just miss some food basics at the house as oil, salt etc, however we would come back with any doubt. Finally point out that the comunication with Denis the host was so fluid and he gave us lots of recommendations of the area.

Perfect place to stay in Ortigia. A beautiful apartment on the prettiest street, which is quieter and off the main track but central location that is great for exploring all parts of the island. Mariangela was very helpful, responsive and lovely. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

Such a beautiful gem of an apartment! I would fully recommend staying here! We stayed for three nights after we’d just got married in Sicily. The apartment is beautiful and just as it looks in the pictures - the roof terrace is a real bonus! It’s absolutely stunning & a great place to laze under the sun, relaxing in the day or to have an alfresco dinner in the evening. It also overlooks ruins which is super interesting. The location of the apartment is also great - a 2-3 minute walk from the lively fish market & a variety of great restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We loved this apartment in Ortigia! Perfect location right by a cute square with lots of restaurants/shopping and the whole island is walkable. The apartment is very modern, spacious, clean and looked just like the pictures. Would definitely recommend!

We, a small family of three, had the most amazing time in Modica (and the surroundings), and Jane's apartment was an extraordinary find. It was perfect as a base to explore the area. I love how big the apartment is, it feels very spacious with a big hallway connecting the rooms. I highly appreciate the way the old and new is mixed together - the old floor tiles are having a new life, the walk in shower is cozy and big. The kitchen has everything one might need, and more! We felt like home and were able to cook every day for us and our small son. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore de beauty of the Sicilian baroque architecture.

It was situated right next to the lively and fun market with lots of good restaurant choices. Everything was walkable on this gorgeous island of Ortygia. We would stay here again!

Great location Comfortable space

The apartment is bright, modern and very well furnished. The landlord was super nice and helpful. The center is within walking distance. Perfect starting point in all directions. The bus stop/bus station is right at the house and can be heard from the terrace. Basically, Sicily has a massive problem with garbage disposal, which is unfortunately clearly visible in some neighborhoods.

We absolutely loved Alfredo’s place. Beautiful, immaculately clean, comfy bed and amazing shower. Loved the little deck sitting out area for evenings and pool to cool off. Fabulous Airbnb and Alfredo was so lovely and friendly and helpful. Great 5 days in lovely Fontane Bianchi.
