We call our place Casita Pacifica (Peaceful Little House) as this suite is a mellow and relaxing retreat, yet in a San Diego suburb only 10-20 minutes from everything. Sadly, we no longer host peacocks, but our space is decorated in memory of their majestic energy. Our standards are high when we travel, so we created a suite that we'd love to stay in ourselves: stocked with goodies, things to do, recommendations, privacy, comfort & above all - cleanliness. If you're looking for a 'small-time neighborhood feel' in the midst of a diverse and dynamic city, this is it! Our 'Suite Garage' is located in the eclectic, walkable, and historic neighborhood of South Park, just east of Balboa Park, and 3 miles from downtown San Diego. You're surrounded by a wide variety of local restaurants and shops in our little 'hood' and we aren't far from North Park, Hillcrest, Coronado, the beaches, Mission Bay, the San Diego Zoo, Sea World and other popular spots.

Winterwarm Cottage is the guest house of my rustic mini-farm. It offers a cozy, comfortable getaway and a chance to meet and mingle with a variety of friendly farm animals . Centrally located between the beaches and Temecula Wine Country, both an easy 30 minute drive away, and right around the corner from the Fallbrook Winery. Included in your stay of 3 days or more can be a complimentary wine tasting at the beautiful Fallbrook Winery, ($40 value) or with a 2 day stay, a 2 for 1 tasting.

Serene San Diego Canyon Getaway

Our cozy studio-style guest house perched above a tree-filled canyon is a serene getaway in the center of San Diego, just a few minutes' drive to all local attractions and most of our other institutions (colleges, universities, hospitals). The casita is comfortable for two or a small family, with full kitchen capacity to prepare at-home meals. Our weather here is temperate, but if the weather gets hot, we have a silent mini-split A/C unit to cool the casita as needed.

Place to Stay with Private Entrance near Beach

The room has a private entrance. It's ideally located in a residential area of Ocean Beach. 5 blocks to the beach, OB pier, and 2 blocks to village life, shops & restaurants. It has a queen bed, a small private bathroom with a shower, a fridge, TV, Wifi, microwave, etc. Guests will love the location and privacy! Beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, etc. are available for your enjoyment. Enjoy the great ocean view from the backyard.
