Holiday rentals with a fireplace in San Jose

My family, dog and cat loved our stay! We walked to the mall, went to Santana Row and had plenty of food options around the area. We also walked to Baskin Robbins one evening. It was a central location for everything. The home was great and we especially loved the backyard and mini golf putting green. It was the perfect accommodation for our family before we moved into our house.

Stayed for one night, easy check in, comfortable house, very clean.

We had a great stay in San Jose with this very convenient home. It was spotless, well stocked, nicely furnished and felt very safe and secure. There was a nice private area in the back to sit and visit/eat and enjoy the flowers and lemon trees. We were in the back home unit and more family were in the front unit. It worked great with lots of room for everyone and privacy or quiet when needed. We were within easy walking distance to several of the events we were in town to attend. Airport trips are so easy. Easy to get to restaurants and shopping. We also had a fun trip to Hidden Hollow. Tina was so helpful and responsive. She made it so we didn't have to worry about our lodging and could just concentrate on our family get together. Thank you, Tina.

If you are in need of a place in this area, this is the place to go! Calm, close to a lot of amenities and more importantly a very caring host that goes above and beyond ti accommodate you. This was my second stay, which says about how good my experience was!

I had a very pleasant stay at Laura’s place in San Jose. The house was clean and comfortable, with everything in good working order. The neighborhood was especially nice—quiet, well-kept, and peaceful, which really added to the overall experience. The A/C worked great throughout my stay, and I appreciated the quality of the furniture and furnishings—they were comfortable and thoughtfully chosen. The upstairs shower also had strong water pressure, which was a nice bonus. The location is another highlight. A post office, pharmacy, and grocery store were all within easy walking distance, which made things really convenient. Overall, a solid and enjoyable stay. I’d definitely consider returning.

Eleni’s place is wonderful! Quiet location outside of downtown San Jose in a nice neighborhood. There is a walking path behind the house and it was so lovely sitting outside on the patio deck watching people and the scenery in the background. My grandson loved the play house/slide. I loved the stunning roses and lemon tree! Comfortable home, child friendly- a great setup for families. Kitchen was very well equipped. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Location is perfect for staying across the pristine Pacific Ocean! Even with your own balcony you can enjoy the sunset to. Was very generous in snack and drink freebies! Easy access to airbnb and host was easily available to reach out for help. Definitely a nice hidden gem for exploration between Half Moon Bay and Pacifica even beyond! Also for the price it's worth the stay! Highly recommend to anyone without a doubt!

We had a fantastic stay at Anna’s place. The location is unbeatable—right at Stanford’s doorstep and just a short walk from the field where I could go for a run. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The furnishings are high-quality and thoughtfully chosen; I especially appreciated the soft cotton sheets, the comfortable bed, and the spacious deck for enjoying the outdoors. Anna was a wonderful host—responsive, helpful, and kind. This place is truly a gem!

Suzy’s place was perfect! I was in town for a wedding held at Shadowbrook and Suzy’s place was within walking distance to not only the restaurant but also all the spots in the village. Suzy was super responsive and worked with me. Even though I wasn’t able to check in early, we worked it out so that I could at least park in the designated parking spot so that we could walk around town while things were being cleaned. The place was super safe and private. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in town!

Beautiful place in a perfect location especially great during the summer. My family of four stayed there quite easily and the kitchenette was a pleasant surprise. We could actually get a number of meals cooked in there. There is a little bit of a sound proofing issue so make sure to be on the quieter side but probably the best deal in SF for summer!

We loved our stay at Jan’s place in Berkeley. The space was great for our trip. We absolutely loved the deck and hot-tub. We spent most evenings sitting out there for hours! You also can’t beat the views of the bay! Overall, such a wonderful stay, we would for sure go back and recommend to all our friends and family.

From the extensive vinyl collection to the categorized bookshelf — from the skylights to the city panorama, there’s nothing that this loft doesn’t provide. The apartment was a perfect landing spot after a long day in the city and a restful environment for simply chilling out. Looking for a delicious dark roast paired with a fresh cheese danish, check out the bodega located right down the street. As for our host, Terri was a delight to communicate with. She made checkin/out a breeze and her personal touches of decor made it feel like home. Will come back to this Air BNB again no doubt.

Great location. Easy walk to Whole Foods, Safeway and several restaurants and coffee shops. Close to Muir Woods, and Tamalpais State Park and easy drive to San Francisco. Multiple hikes are close by. The place is clean and comfortable. I would recommend Dawn’s place for a couple or individual, it would be tight for any more.

Sang’s home was beautiful, clean, and incredibly spacious — perfect for our group getaway. The house was well-stocked, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun stay. We cooked, enjoyed time out on the boat, and had such a great time as a family. Communication was clear and helpful throughout the process. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a peaceful and enjoyable escape in Discovery Bay!

Great home with gorgeous views of the redwoods!! We were all confused as to why there was no dish soap or trash bags to use, but it had everything else!!

This was a great escape in Oakland! Every guest had their own bathroom and the kitchen/living room space was so spacious.

We had a great time staying here over a 4-days weekend. The location is great with access to a private beach. Very kids-friendly!

Can't wait to go back, even though we live in the same town! We had to find a place quickly because we had some damage at our home and Laurie and Bradley were so accommodating and flexible. The property is gorgeous! And I can't say enough about the showers. Every piece of furniture was so comfortable, including the beds (and I am very picky when it comes to beds). The view was spectacular. Besides the incredible amenities, Laurie and Bradley were such incredible hosts and were very easy to reach and super responsive to the many requests we had to extend our stay. I highly recommend their house.
