Awesome place to stay. Great location with a lot of friendly people around. Restaurant and Pool are nice and the views are great.

Quiet modern villa surrounded by nature with an amazing view of the city and bay. Great spot to have a coffee on the balcony and listen to the variety of birds as the city wakes up and the sun begins to sparkle on the bay with is many boats. Will definitely recommend to anyone who comes to San Juan del Sur to experience the beaches, culture and friendly people but still wants a quiet place near nature. Christian our host was most friendly and helpful and answers all out questions promptly. Definitely coming back!

Great place to stay with family and friends! The host was very responsive and addressed all of our questions. As well as the property manager.

The Loft is beautiful and spotless. Our taxi driver insisted on using Google Maps to find the location which created a bit of a challenge on arrival - Rosi had provided directions that were much better but we didn't have internet access and couldn't read them - print them out before your trip to make life easier for yourself. The hill to the loft provided great exercise - we tried to climb it at least once a day and sometimes twice - but rented an ATV to get around. The place is fantastic with all of the facilities you could want and Rosi was very responsive when we needed her. There is no safe in the Loft to store cash, passports, or valuables, and this was the one thing we felt could be added to improve the rental. We felt totally safe while we were there and are already missing our temporary home-away-from-home in SJDS. Thanks Rosi.

We had a wonderful stay in SJDS! Town was a quick 15 minute walk away. As others have mentioned there is a steep hill which was just fine for us and our two daughters, age 10 and 21. We enjoyed drinks on the beach at sunset, breakfast at Ding Repair, and dinner at Ikal. Rosi was incredibly responsive before and during our stay. Upon request, she immediately connected us with locals for a boat day, surfing instruction, home chef, and a driver to and from Managua. It was an incredible stay and we will definitely be back!

The home was beautiful and so was the location. We were barely home, but when we were there it was beautiful. A few things I would recommend is to make sure you have a 4x4 SUV to make getting to the property easier. The other thing would be to stop and buy some necessities, like paper towels for the kitchen. Other than that our stay was lovely. The home was way bigger than we needed, and it was 10 of us.

It’s worth noting how well-equipped the home is: it has a generator and water pump, so we never had to worry about any disruptions during our stay—huge peace of mind! Our host was super friendly and maintained excellent communication from booking through checkout. Every question we had was answered promptly and helpfully, and it was clear they truly care about providing a top-notch guest experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a relaxing and reliable getaway!

We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful beach villa in Nicaragua! The location is perfect – just steps away from the best beach, where we could enjoy stunning sunsets and the sound of the waves all day long. The villa itself is beautiful, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We felt completely secure throughout our stay, with a peaceful and safe atmosphere. An added bonus were the stairs down to the beach….which added some daily exercise. We would stay here again – it was an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend!

Our entire stay was spotless. Everything was tidy and clean. The house was super equipped, both in the kitchen and in each of the rooms. Hosts were 10/10. I recommend that they stay if they want to have an excellent stay in Hacienda Iguanas

Absolutely amazing experience staying at window in Las olas. 2nd time visiting hacienda iguana and I didn’t think it would be possible to top our first trip but we decided to stay at a different house and boy, this place exceeded our expectations - very clean, spacious, and directly in front of Playa Colorados. Highly recommend doing a catering option for food if you’re traveling with a group of people… ask for Martha! James was so easy to work with and we all are excited to book again next year!

Everything about this place was stunning. The view is incredible. The decor and layout is gorgeous. Place is very clean and there are plenty of towels. I particularly loved being able to see the statue of Christ while doing my dishes! Steep hill but our car made it up, and super close to town where all the action is. Host was flexible with our check in and out times.

Very beautiful place to stay, you can literally walk right up to the ocean.

The beach house was amazing, exactly the peace and quiet we were looking for. Having the beach right outside the gate was incredible, and we found plenty of great restaurants just a short drive away. The team was super friendly and responsive; Harry and Ossiel made sure everything went smoothly throughout our stay. I’d definitely recommend it and would stay here again if I’m ever in the area. Overall, a great experience!

We recently stayed at Dan's house for five days; we were a group of six. The property itself was great, with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of space to move around. I saw some reviews saying that you need a 4x4 to get there. We rented a Toyota Rush with a small engine, six people, with six carry-on bags and backpacks, and we were able to get in and out of the house. We want to give a shout-out to the caretakers who live onsite. One of the A.C. units broke down, so I called Harry, the property manager, and he sent out a Tech. Within 20 minutes, he was there to fix it. Well done! We will stay at Casa Irie next time we visit SJDS.

I had a wonderful stay at the villa near Coco Beach! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The air conditioning was a huge plus, especially in the Nicaragua weather. We really enjoyed using the BBQ and spending time in the cozy little pool — perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach. The location was great, and the host made everything easy and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Amazing Beach House! This place is absolutely wonderful. The house itself is beautiful and well-maintained, and the location is spectacular—perfect for anyone who enjoys privacy and relaxation. It's just a short walk to some fantastic restaurants, which made our stay even better. We had such a great experience and will definitely be visiting again!

We had a wonderful time at this house, it had everything we were looking for, very private and literally views on views, also Courtney and the house staff were very professional and proactive, the communication was excellent! We will be happy to be back on our next trip to San Juan del Sur!

We had an amazing stay here. We actually wished we had an extra day to just chill and enjoy the pool and view. Saw so many birds, monkeys, and a sloth. Def need an SUV for the area and the roads leading to the house. Also, you are in the wild, so expect critters to be around. Nothing was in our bed, and we slept fine, though! Communication was quick and easy, and everything was great. We were glad we were away from the noise of the town and figured we would have to drive to the beaches anyway, so we might as well get something with a view! 10/10 recommend!

We loved our time at the house-- the kitchen is really well stocked, the pool and grounds are beautiful and well cared for, and Francisco was very friendly and helpful!
