Cute little very old house. Nothing fancy but has everything you need. Location was easy for getting around by car. Easy street parking, some restaurants/coffee/smoothie shops around. Washer and dryer was nice to have

Very quite and peaceful neighborhood. Although we didn’t spend much time there the house included board games and a backyard area where one could enjoy. The hospitality was also great. The home included a lot of items that made it easier to feel at home. This is a place I would stay again and would definitely recommend.

The house was beautiful, pristine, and very clean. The pool was spectacular—deeper than expected, which was great! Parking was also a breeze thanks to the spacious driveway. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the location is conveniently close to grocery stores. You can tell the property is very well maintained. A couple of things to note: While the amenities list includes items like shampoo and conditioner, most were travel-sized. This was a bit inconvenient for our large group, so make sure to bring your own. Also, the house has only two bathrooms. It’s clearly stated in the listing, but we overlooked it assuming it wouldn’t be an issue since the home accommodates up to 12 guests. Sharing two bathrooms among a big group meant a lot of waiting for showers, which wasn’t ideal. It's just something to think about if you have a larger group like we did. That said, we really enjoyed our stay. The home is lovely overall, it's a great spot and I would happily return in the future!

If you’re looking for a true home away from home, this is it. From a well-equipped kitchen, great bathroom, cozy bedrooms, to a nice backyard with patio space, and secure garage for your car. We stayed with our son and two dogs in-tow for a week’s stay and we all settled in right away. We loved that the location was close to everything. Great space to be able to work out of as well with great internet speed. The thoughtful welcome touches were awesome (drinks in the fridge, some snacks on the table, coffee beans). Excellent home - would definitely stay again if we come back to Austin with the fam + dogs.

Melanie's ranch home is a nice accommodation for the price. It is private and peaceful on a large acreage property. It is convenient to local wineries and equally distanced between Johnson City and Fredericksburg. The kitchen is well stocked and easy for entertaining. We had one issue with the ranch dogs barking late at night, but Melanie took care of it immediately. For guests with mobility issues, just know that the only access to the upstairs bedrooms (one which is a loft with no privacy) is a narrow, spiral staircase. I would recommend this for a quick getaway for a girl's weekend. We had a blast!

My family and I, had a great experience with Carrie. Carrie was incredibly informative, provided tons of recommendations and even went as far as to give us some amazing recipes to try out. Carrie’s house was exactly what we were looking for, private but close proximity to the city. My kids were thrilled with the back yard, playing on the swings and jumping on the trampoline. My experience couldn’t have been better. Carrie was accommodating from start to finish and would definitely recommend her for anyone traveling to the Austin area.

We had such a great stay during our business trip, and Ashley was an absolutely amazing host. Super helpful, responsive, and thoughtful throughout — she made everything smooth and stress-free from check-in to check-out. The space was perfect, and her hospitality made it feel like a home away from home. Thanks again, Ashley — we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Austin!

Very cool place! The place is equipped with everything you'd need for a short stay. Plenty of space for street parking as well. The place does look a little more "rustic" compared to the pictures, but everything was mostly clean (we did find a few interesting items lying around, assumingly from the previous renters). We had upstairs neighbors and occasionally hear noises from them, sometimes very early in the morning so that's a small detail to watch out for, but nothing crazy. The headboards are just doors that are a bit old so if you accidentally touch them/knock into them there are things falling onto the bed, so do keep that in mind, plenty of pillows to "shield" yourself from accidentally doing that though. But outside of a few small quirks the place is nice, entry is private, and plenty of accommodations that other places wouldn't have. It really makes you feel like living in a home away from home. The rate is quite reasonable for what was offered. Would highly recommend.

Enjoyed my stay at this location. Close to a lot of shopping and restaurants and was very clean.

All in all, our stay was great. It's a really unique property with fun eclectic amenities. The location was perfect. The historical area was really lovely. It felt like a safe place to stay. Having dedicated and secure parking is real plus! We plan on staying again in the future and exploring the area more.

Rented this place for my sister and brother in law so I didn't actually stay here. BUT, they said the place was extremely clean, close to everything, beautifully decorated, and quiet despite being in the middle of it all. They enjoyed their stay here immensely and we would definitely book and again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay in SA!

The Wyndham La Cascada was incredible. It was really nice being on the quiet end of the Riverwalk with easy access. Rooftop pool and hot tub were a bonus. The condo was well appointed and very clean.

Susanne was an amazing host!! My daughter & her friend stayed while visiting San Antonio. The house was clean, offered so many amenities, and was in a very safe neighborhood. She was so responsive and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking!!! Thank you Susanne!!

Wonderful people. They made my Christmas for myself and my kids. Warming environment, welcoming, fully accommodating. We shared amazing conversation, great breakfast, I wish I had more time to have spent there!

I had an absolutely lovely time staying at Cata’s place! The grounds were beautiful, quiet, and so very peaceful. The pool was lovely (and deep!) with comfy loungers all around. Our room was extremely cozy, with the perfect little kitchen. My dog and I had a wonderful and peaceful time! I miss being there already!

What a wonderful night's stay. The suite was simple and honestly perfect. We were surrounded by trees and right next to a very quiet piece of the riverwalk. Took only a few minutes to walk to a scooter point and scooter to our date spot. The main house is only a few steps away where cold water, coffee and tea were always available. I woke up the next morning not feeling my best so my husband was going to go pick up the breakfast for us from the main house but they ended up bring it to our door! So sweet ❤️ the french toast was phenomenal. My husband and I can't wait to come back again and next time for more than one night. Thank you for a perfect date night 🌙

The home was *beautiful, spotlessly clean*, and full of character. The bedrooms were comfortable and equipped with air conditioning, which was much appreciated during the summer heat. If there was one drawback, it would be that the rest of the house felt quite warm—something that likely wouldn’t be an issue during cooler seasons. Each morning, we enjoyed fresh coffee and pastries in the common area. On one occasion, we had the pleasure of meeting the owners, who were downstairs working with their team. They took the time to introduce themselves, and both they and the staff were incredibly kind and personable. Their warmth and hospitality truly added to the experience. Would absolutely recommend, especially for visits outside the peak of summer!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Square Inn in Wimberley, TX! The location couldn’t be better—just a block off the city square, where you’ll find an amazing selection of restaurants, art galleries, unique shops, and even candy stores. Everything is within easy walking distance, making it the perfect spot to enjoy all that Wimberley has to offer. Our room was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. But the real highlight was the breakfast! Lloyd prepared an incredible spread, including crispy bacon, savory sausage, fluffy scrambled eggs, biscuits with rich, flavorful gravy, and the best grits we’ve ever had. It was the perfect way to start the day. We wholeheartedly recommend Square Inn to anyone visiting Wimberley. The combination of a prime location, clean and cozy accommodations, and an unbeatable breakfast makes this a top-notch choice. We’ll definitely be staying here again on our next trip!

This is my third time staying at Adis & Jose’s place as I was planning my cross country move to Austin and my daughter and I have loved our stays here. They’re both kind and accommodating hosts and I would absolute recommend their place to everyone!

The house and all rooms were very clean. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. Myra is friendly and a gracious host. We stayed 2 days and her breakfast was awesome: buttery scrambled eggs with toast and bacon. There was also fruit and fresh squeezed orange juice and grapefruit juice. She okays her plan for breakfast with you beforehand in case there is a dietary restriction. She took us on an UTV tour of the property to meet and greet the animals. She brought plenty of carrots for our group to feed the animals. It was fun for everyone. The paddleboats & hot tub were also great. Highly recommend Old 300 Barbecue and Texas Cannon Brewing Company for pizza. We hope to come back again!

I've stayed with Christina multiple times! Her place is perfect for my job in the area. Quiet, safe neighborhood, spotless home, comfy beds & great communication!
