Holiday rentals with a fireplace in San Zeno di Montagna

This charming and historic apartment was very comfortable for our group of 4 adults, baby, and toddler. The location is amazing, on a quiet lane next to the castle, with incredible views across the town, lake, and castle. There is a small swimming cove just below the apartment suitable for adults or a quick dip with children. The wider pebble beach with a lifeguard is a short walk away, as is the ferry to Limone sul Garda. The town’s best gelato shop is around the corner, as is an excellent restaurant Paradiso Perduto (reserve ahead). Matteo and Ludovica were very hospitable and responsive, and met us in person at both check-in and departure. They arranged a complimentary transfer of our luggage with an ape, which was much appreciated across the cobblestone lanes. One thing to consider is if you are sensitive to heat, the two bedrooms on the upper floor can get quite warm in the summer months. We visited during an unseasonably warm June, but thankfully the fans were sufficient.

Luca was a super welcoming host - always available, helpful and with really good tips for the surrounding area. I felt immediately welcome. The accommodation itself was cosy, clean and equipped with everything you need. The dogs were super cute and made my stay even more enjoyable. I really enjoyed my time there and would come back any time.

The House suited us perfectly. We loved sitting outside in the courtyard for breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening. It’s part of an amazing group of 16th Century buildings around the central courtyard. Once inside the gates, it was quite quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was very well equipped, and we enjoyed cooking there. The area is amazing with easy access to Lake Garda, Verona, and wineries in Valpolicella. Highly recommended!

Andrea’s place was wonderful. Nice walk to the heart of Verona, but the apartment (basically a house) is very spacious with much appreciated parking. Arrive and leave the car to explore the wonderful city of Verona!!! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Nicola's place. The space was outstanding and the view was a dream. The place is a little elevated and we recommend a car to go to Bardolino. Bardolino is also great with children and dog. It has a dog playground and lots of options for kids. The highlight was the little stroll.

We stayed for the first time in Saló and it was an exceptional experience. Cristina's house was the ideal solution to be able to stay in a quiet place a few meters from the lake and the center of Saló. The house is beautiful, tidy and clean as we wanted. Cristina's father and mother were very kind and helpful for any need if we return to these parts, we will definitely come back here! Thank you.

This was such a wonderful place to stay! Marisa and Fabio were super responsive to every need we had, and the house was squeaky clean. We loved the location. Close enough to Lake Garda, so we visited a few cities on the lake on one day. It's about 30 minutes from Verona, so we spent one day there. (We did a free walking tour and highly recommend that!) And on our third day, we drove to Bolzano and Merano to be in the mountains - a very different experience from the area near Garda. This Airbnb has heart, and you can tell that Marisa and Fabio take pride in what they've built. So much thought went into every detail of decor, the wood and natural stone... everything, really... I consider it an honor that they shared it with us.

We had a great stay here in Verona! Gianlucas place was the perfect location - just outside of the city but an easy walk. Close to public transport and fantastic food options around you. Gianluca and Dora were very responsive hosts. It was a comfortable place and I would definitely come back.

We were received very nicely. The apartment is spacious and clean. The direct access to the backyard and the spacious lawn invite you to sit outside. Our dog Elli felt very comfortable and loved the walks along the Adige. Many thanks for everything Franca, Andy and Elli

Everything great, very easy to find thanks to the instructions from Jacques apartment as shown in the pictures. Just don't arrive with a lot of luggage, as the apartment is on a steep alley, but if you are fit, it shouldn't be a problem. The apartment is very nice and clean

The four of us had a wonderful stay at the accommodation. The apartment is even more beautiful in real life than it looks in the photos. In particular, the terrace and the view are breathtaking. The kitchen was also great; all utensils available to cook for yourself. Otherwise, the check-in and check-out with Hubert was great. We immediately felt at home with the friendly hosts. If we go to Lake Garda again, we will be happy to come back. 😊

We stayed a weekend in this house. The accommodation met our expectations and the description of the house. It's great for two. Clean and comfortable. There is a slightly steep staircase to reach the apartment, but for us it was not a problem. Excellent relationship with the host who responded promptly to our questions. Good restaurants and grocery stores nearby. For those arriving by car, we would like to point out that the parking spaces around the area are all subject to a maximum one-hour parking disc from 9.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. and are only free after 7.00 p.m. The only free parking is at the beginning of the village and there is another paid parking.

We had a great week at this lovely apartment with our two kids, enjoying a wonderful breakfast every morning, a really beautiful pool and stunning scenery every day. Big recommendation!

The accommodation was nice and completely sufficient! Very nice contact and quickly reachable for questions. The terrace is very nice, you have a view over the whole lake incl. Sunset. The apartment can be reached after 54 steps, as it is a penthouse apartment. One challenge was definitely parking in the garage, especially with a large car. However, bicycles are available free of charge if you only want to move the car a little. We had a nice vacation, would come back anytime.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful host. Large bedroom, bathroom and living room with open kitchen. Beautiful view! Much of it enjoyed from the large balcony. And you can walk in all directions. Very nice stay!

Alexia was a superb host, friendly and helpful. The villa was a great place to unwind after attending our son's wedding and offered everything for eight wedding guests. A lovely secluded pool, plenty of kitchen and houshold supplies, lots of own eggs and vegetables. Oh! and two friendly dogs. Kelvin Roberts.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Giulio’s Brickhouse! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the attention to detail throughout the property was impressive. Back yard was huge so we could play some footbal and pool nearby was perfect to hang out during hot days. The location was perfect—close to crowdy Verona that we wanted to see, yet peaceful and quiet at the property. I especially appreciated how responsive and friendly the host was; communication was clear, timely, and helpful throughout all our stay. You can really tell they care about creating a great experience for their guests. Whether you’re visiting for work or relaxation, this place is a gem. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We had a very lovely and relaxing time at the Villa. Diego was a friendly and helpful host and provided many great tips about the area. We visited in winter so the neighborhood was particularly quiet. The views of the lake were magnificent! The only suggestion would be a more modern TV and WiFi that reaches through the whole house. Outside of that, a very special property. Having a car is a must given the distance from the nearest village.

A beautiful apartment in a lovely location with fabulous views over Lake Garda. Inside super clean and tidy with marble floor keeping it super cool. Plenty of space for two people inside and outside on the large terrace with tables and chairs, loungers by the poolside and a fantastic brick built bbq for use. Set up on the lakeside up a steepish hill and a 1km walk into town if on foot - good exercise! Apartment had everything you needed to get away from it all - no tv which we didn't miss but good wifi and music sonos. Everything was excellent and we fully relaxed here and really enjoyed our stay. Simon and Andrea were super helpful hosts and went above and beyond to assist us. We would thoroughly recommend staying here to explore this lovely part of Italy.

We had a great time at the place. Especially the outdoor area with pool and grill was our favorite place. The cute dog on the premises also enriched our vacation. Due to the great location of the house, we had the perfect mix of tranquility and proximity to great destinations, such as Verona or Lake Garda. Communication with Simone was very good. 🙂

Manuela was a very friendly, helpful and attentive hostess. She gave us great tips in advance and informed us about everything important. She answered questions very quickly and tried to meet all needs. Your house is exactly as in the photos and in the description. We felt very comfortable at her place. Everything was clean and well maintained. The garden and pool were also great. We would go back there any time. Lake Garda can be reached in a few minutes by car, as well as various shopping facilities and restaurants. Thank you very much for the pleasant stay :)

Matteo’s place is even more beautiful and more spacious than the pictures. We were blown away by the property, inside and out. The property is right next to a walking path that brings you down into the town. The path is definitely not for the faint of heart as it’s very steep, but there are some beautiful viewing points. If you have the proper shoes and don’t mind a bit of a workout, it’s great. For the most part, taxis are readily available to/from the town. There’s also a hotel with a restaurant and another restaurant about 10 mins walking from the Airbnb which was great when we didn’t feel like going back down into town. If you’re looking for a place with privacy, views, a pool, and plenty of space, this is the place.
