In winter, the cross-country ski trail is at your doorstep Private sauna for rent in summer with outdoor shower (including towels, bathrobe and infusion from 10 am - 6 pm) Feel free to rent bikes in summer by appointment. We are happy to provide sleds for children.

The house is situated in a quiet side street. Butcher with bratwurst stand, soft ice cream machine, kebab, corner store, library, bank machine, restaurant and church are just around the corner. The Haseltal cycle path leads directly past the property. It starts on the Rennsteig cycle path at Oberhof and ends in Einhausen on the Werratal cycle path. Bicycles can be borrowed from us free of charge. The outdoor pool is about 300 meters away. Hiking and skiing areas on the ridge of the Thuringian Forest are within easy reach.

Meiningen, Erfurt, Weimar or Coburg are also worth a visit and are easily accessible.

Our cozy, light-flooded and modern apartment is located in the countryside exactly between Bamberg and Coburg - two very worthwhile cities in Franconia. Our farm is a real oasis of well-being surrounded by forest and extensive fields. Some lakes are also within walking distance. We have great hiking trails and bike tours in the Hassbergen. An absolute place to arrive and feel good and an ideal starting point for day trips, for example to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bamberg.

Modern holiday home in the heart of the Grabfeld

After I inherited the farm from my grandfather, one thing was clear to me, "this farm is not for sale." Thus, together with my parents, I completely renovated the farm and created a modern furnished vacation home. In his honor, it has become "DER HENKELHOF," where we would like to extend a warm welcome to you. By "we" I mean my parents Heri & Ilona and me. Guest house on the Schleusehof... enjoy nature!

Our guest house (about 89 m) is located on our mini-farm, which we run as a hobby. The Schleusehof is idyllically located on a small river, where you can cool your feet on hot days. The house sleeps 4 people (2 adults + 2 children). On request, we also have a baby cot for the little ones. The farm offers space to romp and relax. The apartments are located in Irmelshausen Castle, a particularly historical ambience. In the castle park you can relax and enjoy the tranquility. Children can use the playhouse, sandbox, nest swing or slagline and trampoline to romp, the adults read a book on the daybeds.

This lovingly furnished vacation home was newly built in 2023 and impresses with its unique location and its unobstructed view on a plateau right on the edge of the forest. It is an ideal starting point for hiking/cycling tours in the Thuringian Forest and is ideally suited for couples, friends and families. The spacious property offers enough space. In the house, all 3 bedrooms are furnished in pine wood.
