My vacation home is located in the climatic health resort of Bärnkopf, a small place in the middle of the Weinsberg Forest at almost 1000 meters above sea level. The sun shines here very often while the fog hangs in the valley and the nights are starry. There is a good infrastructure - a shop, a tavern, many hiking trails, a swimming pond and in winter an extensive cross-country ski trail network. In the immediate vicinity you will also find Rappottenstein Castle, the Arbesbach Bear Forest, the Ysper Gorge and of course a lot of untouched nature.

Our small 60 m² apartment offers you everything you need from the interior - in addition to a great view of our local mountain, the Ötscher (1898 m), but also in the idyllic landscape of the Mostviertel. Through the windows, which open up to a direct view of the neighboring fields and forests… Our location is very quiet on the one hand, on the outskirts of Wieselburg-Land, on the other hand it is only 5 km to the Ybbs west highway entrance. Wonderful apartment, beautifully furnished and lovingly designed, but nothing useless. Kitchen well equipped. Wonderful view through a large window of the fortified church of Weißenkirchen, the surrounding vineyards and the sunrise. Ideal location in the center in a side street. The banks of the Danube, wine taverns, shops and the train station are within a pleasant walking distance. Parking in the Oberen Bachgasse was not a problem at the time of our trip. The hostess Ilse is very friendly and has good tips ready, she also delighted us with a homemade apricot jam.

Cozily furnished cabin in an absolutely secluded location in nature, with beautiful views over the hilly landscape to the mountains. The corner bench and table in the kitchen is huge and also the bathroom amazingly large, the shower cabin is very comfortable. But we would still recommend the cabin only for 2 people. The only bedroom is small and the extra bed is narrow and not so comfortable if you don't prefer a hard bed. Otherwise, we felt very comfortable here, we can recommend this place. It was also very clean.

Perfect place to relax for a few days in nature. There were two of us with a dog and we enjoyed the cottage to the fullest. You really don't see or hear anyone - except the chickens walking around the garden:-) The place was just as described and communication with Kim was always super quick, accommodating and friendly.
