Great stay, super cute place, everything as described.. Snacks and bottles of water were included which was a nice surprise. Very quiet. I highly recommend James studio.

Annie was very helpful and promptly responded. The house and grounds are well equipped and furnished/decorated in a Ventura theme, with 1940's features that match the home's and neighborhood's age. We'd be happy to stay again on our next trip to visit relatives in town.

Brent was very attentive & checked in with us several times. Brent was very gracious to change my dates as I had a last minute change. He left us a welcome gift. The home was perfect for us in a nice neighborhood. The large backyard was so nice with many amenities. Enjoyed the spa. Location was very convenient. We were in town for a wedding for the weekend and this spot was perfect for us. We are a family of 5, we had a ton of space to relax in. The kitchen was stocked with coffee and water in the refrigerator which is really nice. There was also a delicious party to enjoy with our coffee the next morning. The property was absolutely beautiful as well. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved staying in David’s home. It was right near the beach for us to walk to in the morning. And while our entire family felt right at home, our cat was the one who felt the most heartbroken to leave 🥲 Typically, it takes him awhile to adjust to new spaces and can make him quite anxious. But in David’s beautiful Ventura home, he felt safe, comforted, and absolutely LOVED the environment. We’ve literally never seen him happier. There were so many big open windows for him to look out of, and the scratchy rugs were especially comfortable. We couldn’t have loved an Airbnb any more than this home and how happy it made all of us! Thank you David!

This home has so much character. The 70s-inspired design is super fun and unique, and the space was perfect for our group of five. It felt spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub setup really made the stay—it felt like our own private retreat. Plus, the neighborhood was quiet, safe, and peaceful, which made it easy to relax. Dicle was equally great. They shared thoughtful recommendations, were responsive whenever we had questions, and even had someone come out quickly when the hot tub wasn’t heating up properly. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience—everything was handled smoothly and with care. Would 100% stay here again. It’s a perfect spot for a chill, fun getaway with friends or family.

perfect location in Montecito! Very short walk to both the village and butterfly beach. The house is beautiful, clean, and spacious, and the backyard is so serene! The 101 is not at all too loud- it’s like gentle ambient noise- our newborn baby slept very comfortably and easily here! 😁 our family would absolutely return again! thanks Sara for sharing your beautiful space!

David's place was perfect for us! It is so comfortable and we loved watching Directv...what a treat! The kitchen space is fully stocked with lots of clear directions. David was very helpful and accommodating. Even the main house seems close to the guest house, it is still VERY private. Thank you David for a wonderful stay!!

I absolutely loved staying here. I came here with my dog for a short getaway from LA and to check out the Santa Ynez area. The fenced in yard was perfect for my dog, who was in bliss with all the space, new smells and nature sounds. The guest house is so cute, private and opens out to the pool and yard area that is on top of a hill overlooking other vast properties with horses grazing, grapes growing, hawks flying over...It’s so beautiful and peaceful. Everything in the guest house was clean and organized, even pool towels were provided for me and my dog. The bed was very comfortable and I loved leaving the windows open for a breeze and to hear all the birds and other night sounds. The property is a short drive to Santa Ynez and Los Olivos, both very nice to walk around and very dog friendly! Cute restaurants and Alanna recommended a few dog friendly options for me. I loved my stay here, Alanna was a great host, and I hope to be back.

Great stay for me and my pup. Location was perfect for visiting Carrizo, Pinos and surrounding areas. Joy was very responsive and had excellent recommendations.

Es war einfach nur wundervoll bei Lizlott und Helmut! Die beiden sind zauberhaft, so freundlich und zuvorkommend, man fühlt sich dort sofort wie zu Hause! Das Gästehaus ist ein Traum, liebevoll eingerichtet und dekoriert, man hat alles, was man braucht! Den Pool, die Feuerstelle, den Garten, man darf alles jederzeit mit benutzen. Von Thousand Oaks aus kann man viel unternehmen, die Strecken sind meist so 30 Minuten bis 1h entfernt (Ventura Beach, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, LA, etc.). TO selbst ist auch super schön, viele tolle Spielplätze (wir waren mit Kleinkind), kleine Parks, Restaurants und Shoppingmöglichkeiten! Lizlott kann einem tollen Tippe geben (wir waren auf eine kleinen Family Farm, das war wundervoll). Wir können dieses Gästehaus nur empfehlen! ❤️

Cozy Cabin was the perfect choice for our nature retreat! Denlin's place felt very much like a home away from home. It is nicely furnished inside and each space feels truly 'cozy' and has a unique feel. The big back deck has gorgeous views of the surrounding National forest, with good opportunities for some birdwatching as well. It was only a short walk or drive to any local trails. If you are looking for somewhere that feels like a real home, and not a corporate rental, you will be happy at Cozy Cabin. :)

My wife and I stayed here while I attended a conference 45 minutes away, inland. I’m so glad we stayed where we did because of the views. Not difficult to get around. Grocery store and restaurants are not a far drive away. The place had everything we needed. Older adults, so pretty quiet. You can see and hear the ocean from the condo. Host was quick to respond to any questions.

We loved our stay at Lisa’s beautiful and comfortable ranch cottage. The decor was so charming and everything was set up for ease, relaxation and functionality. The kitchen was fully equipped and stocked and we had all we needed to cook a full meal (and we especially enjoyed the Keurig coffee maker). The beds were very comfortable and the shower had fantastic water pressure and nice bath products. I had forgotten to bring a shaver but fortunately Lisa’s “emergency supply kit” in the bathroom came to the rescue. The location was perfect for attending our family wedding and enjoying the charming nearby towns. And the pool was great! We would be delighted to stay again.

The accommodation where I could stay while being around alpacas was such a happy and joyful place for me. The room was small, but it was perfectly fine for two people. Adjusting the hot water in the shower was a bit tricky. This place is located on a surprisingly beautiful hill, which made the experience even more special. As someone who loves animals, I had such a wonderful time, and I would love to come back again for another healing stay. I hope the alpacas, horses, camels, and llamas are all doing well. Thank you so much!

Staying at Dean and Janet’s place felt like staying at a parents home! It was a quant space and perfect for a little local getaway and we loved that they were inclusive of our pupster Benny. Thank you for being kind and friendly hosts! They really thought of every detail to make it a comfortable experience for guests.

Perfect place for our stay to celebrate my son’s graduation from ucsb. We were mostly in Isla Vista but hosted a Sunday brunch for him and his friends. Sat outside in the comfortable patio and everyone had a fabulous time! My nephew remarked that Dawn’s place reminded him of my Italian grandmother’s house; everything was carefully chosen to reflect the vintage charm of the cottage with European flavor. Loved everything about our stay here!

We felt so at home in Donna's sweet casita! It was perfectly located for our reunion with family members who live only five blocks away from her property, which is in a pretty, very walkable neighborhood. The cottage was exactly as pictured, and Donna was a welcoming and responsive host. We would love to return to the casita the next time we're visiting family in Ventura.

Wow oh wow! Everything we expected from our weekend stay. Perfect location and so close to State Street where all the fun is. We loved our stay and would 100000% consider coming back to this location. Highly recommend it. Our hosts were also very friendly and easy to get ahold of. Thank you for giving us what we asked for🙏
